Well, it is not surprising to see that chart. Bitcoin will always be the most dominant cryptocurrency available. It will take almost a miracle for some coin to overtake bitcoin. It is for the reason that being the first successful coin, people felt that it is bitcoin that is the more reliable coin. Also, companies and the likes had adopted bitcoin more than other coins.

Ripple in 2017 already overtook Bitcoin and there was no special miracle. The total capitalization of Ripple was $ 350 billion, and the value of Ripple was then $ 3.5. I advise you to conduct an economic analysis of trends in the cryptocurrency market.

I'm not surprised with this comparison. Bitcoin is surely more stable even with future years than these altcoins which tends to follow a down trend. The market for altcoins is crowded, and altcoins have higher chance of failing than what the bitcoin already had done. But I believe that one day, there'll be an altcoin that would replace bitcoin, or another technology that would revolutionize and improve the crypto-industry. But not as of now, bitcoin remains solid and we're still in the early-mid stage of growth with the continuous adoption in different sectors.

Overtook/overtake is a poor choice of words. XRP did surpass Bitcoin in market capitalization twice some time ago, but only when you calculate its value against the 100 billion XRP tokens in circulation, and not the 35 billion a lot of index sites use. This is the prime example of how tokens try to look bigger than they actually are.

This whole crypto market is a crock of shit with how people only pay attention to fake volumes and fake market caps. Try to dump $5 million worth of XRP on any liquid exchange. You'll manage to vanish 15-20% of its market cap if bots and algos on other exchanges follow through.

Actually bitcoin is and will always be the number one cryptocurrency. It's not because it is better but I think its because it has the first mover advantage which has given it a pump in adoption. That's a pretty brutal chart. If you look at the top 10 coins against Bitcoin, you still see the clear path of devaluation of the coins that should be an alternative safe haven to Bitcoin, but there is just no such thing:



If the top 10 can't deliver, then the rest are just a mess, and fiat valuations don't matter due lack of liquidity.

I think this is really fascinating because once at the time of bull run we just thought that BTC dominance has vanished because it dropped until 35% but it has proved that it still is king of crypto.

Your chart is hard to read, too many lines, what I see here is that in April bitcoin made a jump and became a springboard for some alts (jagger april fools as you say). maybe growing alts have a big tendency to change in bitcoin, but now the dominance of bitcoin is much higher in the market, so this month's movement makes 200 top coins in the same movement (if measured in satoshi value).

In my opinion because everyone only knows bitcoin even though in cryptocurrency there are many other coins in it and bitcoin is the first digital coin in the world and the most expensive coin among other coins, and people are more interested in investing in bitcoin because bitcoin is more profitable and promising.

It is not  surprising actually, bitcoin is the very first crypto to be known widely. From the day it was launch until today it establish a huge amount of supporters. Unlike the new cryptos that are newly created they are still gaining the supporters . Also, the reason why it is the king of all crypto is because of its inflationary features wherein it is possible to gain huge amount of profit in a single price pump. This makes bitcoin interesting and challenging as well.

I think that in a few years, Ethereum will be called the King of the cryptocurrency market. Perhaps Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in trading volume after 2 years. And this network will become the largest and most reliable in the world.

That's not going to happen. People's hope that it will get back to its all time high isn't backed by anything than another ICO boom scenario, similar to the one have had back in 2017/2018.

Ethereum was the only one back then, now there are many more platforms capable of doing the same. It had the advantage that all the money couldn't do anything but flow into Ethereum because of people's greed.

It's much more likely to see XRP surpass Ethereum's market cap and push it to nr 3 for ever. XRP has so many coins in circulation that it probably won't take much more than one altcoin boom.

Of course it is going to be hard to read he condensed 200 coins and their performance in a single graph, but it is very telling, bitcoin is recovering while altcoins are not, what does this tell us? I am not sure, this could mean that investors are losing confidence in altcoins and that from now on we should not expect most altcoins to perform better than bitcoin, however this could also mean that this is a good opportunity to buy altcoins and if an altcoin season comes next year then we could see a reversal of that graph.

Exactly. Aside from that Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency who gained his popularity and still gaining more. For 10 years it is the most and still the favorite crypto of all people and we can't deny the fact that although there are lots of crypto coming in, still it cannot replace to top.
