When it comes to feature actually there are so many coins that have better features than bitcoin, some of them have a faster confirmation, offering low fees, higher anonymity levels, and many more. But none of them can beat bitcoin at least until this point, I guess it's about originality and also people trust bitcoin more than those coins, that's why bitcoin still being the king of the crypto.

See if you are calling Bitcoin a king on the basis of profits and price movement. Then yes, because Bitcoin has got that dominance and name that whenever any new trader comes in the crypto space, it prefers Bitcoin because of the associated trust. Also, the traders who have been into the space for a time now, prefer Bitcoin in case of bear market. This gives Bitcoin volume stability and hence outperforms the altcoins when it comes to bear market.

If you think about it, Bitcoin is the King of all of it because everything is basically a FORK and main idea from BTC.

Even if it other cryptocurrencies are not forks, it was thought the same way as Bitcoin.

All of that makes that cryptocurrency tradeable but with different price from Bitcoin.

Although every altcoin, or ICO tries to be more innovative than Bitcoin, they are not successful, because what they overlook is that, the greatest innovation has already happened.

Its always be.Btc proven out for 10 years that it do deserve the top spot.It might be outdated by some coins but this one is mainly supported.

It can be seen on dominance but well we cant still be sure if it would stay on top spot forever yet we know that nothing do last forever.

Bitcoin itself won't last forever. It will stay up until when all 21 million coins are mined. So yeah, but I am sure Bitcoin will stay on top of upto that only, as long as it's there because major investors and institutions have put more money in bitcoins than any other coins

Just look at every project, there are lots of projects that are only accepting bitcoin for you to support them or to buy their tokens, also in gambling bitcoin is one of the most used as bet. Due to lots of fake projects and ICO people have lost faith in altcoin. So in either ways when BTC is increasing or BTC is decreasing most of the altcoins are getting heavily affected negatively by it. People have lots of trusts in BTC. But for a good cryptocurrency market I think there should be some good competitor of BTC as well. Or at least there should some good number of altcoins, which people can trust. Hope that the fall of the altcoin market will clear all the garbages in the altcoin market and people will find their trust on the remaining good projects.

In my perspective, I believe that bitcoin will soon become a digital property in which people will hold it, just like gold in the real world. Other altcoins, can replace bitcoin in order to become digital money. As you can see, ethereum, xrp and many other coins have a great potential. THey have great technology, great DAPPS which can easily interact with user. So, right now, bitcoin is a king, but it is hard to say which coin will rule in world in the next decade

Yes, due to some fake projects and fraud ICO, the whole trust value of altcoin market has gone down. This is also one of the reason why bitcoin is living and enjoying the life of king in crypto market. The lost trust of altcoin can regain once the frauds will be recognized and the market will be safe again. At that time altcoin will act as an opponent or competitor of bitcoin.

One thing that I notice is that people like us could easily name 20 or 30 altcoins without too much trouble but that is because we are involved in this market, if you ask a random person about this market most likely the first and only coin that will come to their mind will be bitcoin and if you were to ask them if they knew of any other coin, they will ask you if there are other coins besides bitcoin, and I know that is true because when I first joined this market I did not knew that altcoins existed.
