Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today.

You are buying coins that you don’t really follow as what you stated here?

I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..

I hate to say this but buying currency that you don’t really known only relying from advices is not a good idea on how to invest here because for sure you’ll blame everyone if you fail in this one

Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

Reading through the replies here, you'll get the idea why this board is a speculative board. Everyone is just writing down their assumption without considering some major factors. Ethereum was overhyped & as a result it got overpriced. Ethereum trading around $1400+ as it was
before the drop to $600 wasn't healthy for the blockchain as it's utility purpose got overshadowed by it's price valued. Without the ICO fever ethereum would had experience a healthy growth and won't have decline to the current price irrespective of the altcoin bear season.

Ethereum is a platform for God's sake, what we should be more consider about should be the utility purpose of the project, how effectively is it, been used. The current or future price of ethereum isn't it's number priority so don't expect any hype in attempt to boost the price like other altcoins are doing. Ethereum focus is on developing itself to remain the no1 preferred blockchain for dApp operations.

yeah right, maybe Ethereum won't go down below $ 100 USD, but we don't know about the future, if ETH falls below $ 100 USD then it will be a valuable opportunity to buy more ETH

yeah right, maybe Ethereum won't go down below $ 100 USD, but we don't know about the future, if ETH falls below $ 100 USD then it will be a valuable opportunity to buy more ETH

it will happen when the supply in the market increases. The developer must pay attention to this, how ETH should try to reduce the inventory circulating in the market. it will help how the price of ETH can be in accordance with market demand. even if the market response is good ETH can make a pump.
