Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

I think yes, because we can see ETH still on top coinmarketcap coins and that coin seems not have serious problem until now. Usually when bitcoin price pumped, followed by Ethereum and that is why until now i still hold some of Ethereum. My opinion is it still have chance to up again and $600 still looks reachable and maybe my next target is new ATH. Although i will prepare for anything that can be happen to ETH.

I think the Ethereum price will go up slowly with time, but it will take somehow a long time until it hits the 600$ level again, maybe several coming months. But I believe that it is not going to decrease below 100$ again because the whole crypto market is actually recovering, and prices are going up with time.

Do not lose your hope to the most trusted the most commonly used platform in the Altcoin market because not only Ethereum is in difficult now but the whole market too. Libra was owned by Facebook in which it would probably a success but still it doesn't mean it will supersede Ethereum  because i don't see any unique concept of this coin.

Ethereum is still good mate. Because it always make progress when bitcoin gradually increasing as well. But you should focus in long term and don't pressure yourself in short term because it's so difficult especially for you 'cause you're a beginner  . So must wait!  Wherine make a fundamental analysis instead and create a target.  So that once eth regain value along with bitcoin that only  thing you need to do is to sell without further do . Activate all the notification where you can receive a good news about the market in order to become updated.

Yes, ETH is still a great coin. I think $100 is unlikely, but still probably more likely than $600 this year.
The markets have dropped a bit recently, but have been recovering well. I think this is a good sign and it suggests that we have some quite solid support there... which should in theory set us up for some price rises. However $600 is a big leap for ETH, and given that all of crypto is moving together, it might take a new ATH for BTC in ordeer for ETH to hit $600, which doesn't seem likely this year.

The recovery that this market is bringing only shows us the positivity of bitcoin, except for bitcoin, almost altcoins are still in quite bad condition, showing a long-term downward trend, so when this situation persists, the opportunity to go down to $100 of ethereum is still possible. However, as an investor with positive thinking, I would not expect this situation to happen, I would expect a real altcoin season to arrive, it will help me recover the funds in my account when my account has been severely reduced for a long time

My humble opinion: the cost of Ethereum will never return to a two-digit number, I am extremely optimistic and believe that it is not for nothing that ETH was added to the list of the most undervalued assets.  Future network updates, a huge ecosystem, all this will make ETH great again! Yes, most likely not this year, but I believe it will happen in the near future.

Ethereum price today is $190. $90 left before reach $100 and still need $410 to reach $600. We in a bear market so the most potential will down.

Everytime ethereum goes down you guys must continue buying to the dip  , this is a 'bluechip' one .. i have no doubt , the more falling down the more happy i am to buy as much as i can , just remember to use your free money because this might takes a little bit longer to recover / bounce back , HODL and harvest it later!
$190 now pretty cheap especially for those who bought at $800 back in the good days on late 2017. Now or never .. take that chance to buy against the current bearish market , i'm sure the rewards would be really good. I have done it many times!

ETH is still one of the best coins in the market but since 2017 many alternatives have appeared, now there are alternatives to icos in the form of ieos which are taking interest away from ETH, if you are prepared to hold your ETH for years then you have made a great investment, but if what you want is to get profits during the next weeks or months then it could be a better idea to look for other coins that could give you that kind of performance because for what I see ETH will be a bad investment for the rest of 2019.

You are not wrong and I hope you are right, because so far I am still holding eth who is still confident there will be an altcoins season. Now it really isn't the altcoins season as we see almost everything flushed and only bitcoin still maintains its value at the 10k level at the moment and it still stands for green. 2020 is indeed a hope for all and for me personally 2020 seems to be a history of the second time for a big improvement.

it seems like a lot of people stick to 2020 for this, even I am like that. 2020 could be a year that will exceed 2017, because it keeps stock of assets such as bitcoin, or ethereum is not wrong.

ETH is good to invest as long as new project use the ETH smart contract technology. And I think most of the new projects right now are using it.
The reason is because it's simple to create token using ETH, and also ETH has low fees in every transaction. Making it the second most popular coin in cryptocurrency.

Nope your in a right choice and great decision because even ethereum are in the dip or cheap value as this moment I still also believe ethereum is good invest for long term hold.

We understand the feeling of being undecided and feel unlucky. The market has never been looking good since from the start of this year and ETH still declining. I have some ETH also but it never has to think that I will sell them at this time, putting some patience and tried not to check its price all the time so it won't bother us if ever the price still at low.

ethereum still has a chance to go up. but for now it looks like it's going to go down, even so I don't expect it to reach $100. for me long-term investment ethereum is still worth holding. there are still many important agendas that will occur in the future, ethereum 2.0, POS and others can trigger an increase in ethereum prices.

In my opinion, if you look at the skyrocketing growth of BTC, and the crowds of investors who have plunged into the crypto world again, it is very likely that ETH will bounce back to $ 600 ... even though now we see that ETH prices have decreased slightly  , I am very sure that in the future it will rise again, and it is very unlikely that ETH prices will drop back to the price of $ 100
