Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

I think ETH will go back up but to touch 600 $ this year is impossible.
it will be very possible if ETH will return to the price of 400 $ this year and will continue to rise the following year.
that's just my prediction, for certainty I'm not an expert in that.

ETH is effectively cheap compared to what it used to be, but to me, from the day it dropped below 100$ for few days to now, it's having a really hard time to recover even when BTC is pumping, therefore in spite of the hype surrounding ETH 2.0 I don't think it's a good investment for 2019.. Now that you bought,if you ever decid to sell back, don't sell at loss, try to break even or make a bit of profit. Im seeing the pressure from the market is more than the support that has already made in the market. for me, it's possible to see ethereum will stable or even worth $100 again. Ethereum's price is not related with BTC halving day or anyother news that is not having any relationship with ether) Our main bet will be ETH 2.0 but there is no ETA when it comes for sure. |

ethereum is still trusted by investors and don't worry about buying ethereum with nothing to lose, now ethereum is cheap to buy lots and save for future investments and can reach 1000 $ next year

I think ETH is a real shitcoin, however it will go above $600 again before crawling to its grave. The crypto road is long and winding with a lot of ups and downs along the way...

You are not wrong in buying ETH at current rate since that's the best option for altcoins right now. I don't also think ETH will drop below 100$ or go above 600$ so soon. Please note that if you are holding ETH, you should be patient, the market is not so favorable for altcoins especially right now. Talking about the big events come next year, it's true that everything being equal, they should cause a spike in prices but crypto market is highly volatile, the reverse might happen if there is FUD so nobody knows for sure. We just have to be optimistic.

Ether is one of the strong coins and after the BTC bull run, when alt season start ETH is going to be one of the fast-moving coins in my opinion. I think we are going to see an all-time high in two years.

We know the capabilities of ETH and a lot of investors are still holding with. Bringing back into below $100 isn't impossible to happen this year-round but not really sure for the next year as the bearish season may come again.
The current market situation shows the minimal price fluctuations, in fact, we can't see the entire market moves high rather than to steadily stay at its range. Thinking for another $600 break, seems too hard at this time. It might be staying below $4 until the end of this year.(IMO).

for now is too early for Ethereum hit the price $600, in my speculation untill end of this year ethereum price keep stable at the $300-$400/Ethereum.
and for me ethereum still worth it to invest our money, especially for hodl in long time

ethereum now run below $200 and maybe this is a good buy zone for ethereum my friend i personally believe the price of ethereum will not go back below $100, in my predictions ethereum price will touch between $500 - $600 in this year, but who knows right ?  |

ETH is always good. It maybe currently in a negative but for sure once btc bounce back it will follow and the good thing is that since it is high even though it dumps you will not be hurt that high. And the fact that ETH is still number 2. You can't deny that eth is still something anyway it needs more improvements and updates.

Ethereum still the best investment so far like bitcoin but the problem is we don't know when ethereum can be back to the higher price again. That will not happen for ethereum only, but the other altcoin has the same thing, and all of the altcoins still waiting for the right time to increase. Besides that, we are still waiting for the bull run that will come, and when the bull run is coming, all of the coins will start to increase, and I think the price will explode and back to the higher price again.

ETH 2.0 is ongoing but it is a gradual process that has not yet been completed. A lot of issues surrounding the network which is why there is so much selling pressure now. It is still a great coin,,, even though I was not convinced from the beginning, I still see it as a useful part of the whole crypto ecosystem. Crypto winter is not over, just buy and hodl on tight! |

ETH is still a great choice, but I am unsure whether or not now is a good time to get in. Prices have dropped significantly today after a bit of a downtrend for a while. We are probably at quite an important point right now. The market seems undecided whether we should be bullish or bearish... and the response to today's significant market drops might go a long way to determining that.

for now I don't recommend buying ethereum, but that doesn't mean ethereum is bad. I think it is better now to wait until the ethereum prices start to improve. if seen from the chart there will be a decrease that will occur for ethereum and maybe almost all crypto coins. |

maybe ethereum can fly to 1000+ like last year. but for now ethereum is down. and now is not the right time to buy, even though ethereum prices are down. but I think ethereum is still worth buying in the future. especially if ethereum 2.0 is released, there will definitely be an increase in demand for ethereum. |

It won't take that long, it will happen within a few months. No chance that ethereum goes back down to $100, there is too much bid support now after this big increase over the last month. I would buy now because we won't see prices this cheap ever again. |
