To name a few, Ethereum, EOS, everex, IOTA, Stellar, ripple are amazing and they are having support from traders. So we must support those altcoins that are really worthy of doing well.

Today good time to invest in altcoins, prices very low, but need to be ready wait long time.
Of course need invest for successful and big projects, little and new can leave market on crisis.

Some selective altcoins are still doing great even in these bear market period of altcoins and those selective few are those with actual working product e.g Binance chain token (BNB). The way I see the market heading we will no longer have a period were altcoins in general will benefit from the success of others like it did in 2017 where investors invested just because previous similar token have given them gains, instead every coin will be held responsible for their own success.

The altcoins season this period would be different and it'll come unexpectedly. The market needs altcoins as bitcoin alone can't take the marketcap to previous all time high or even higher volume so you don't have to give up hopes on altcoins yet. Just do your research and invest wisely.

The market is generally dwindling and altcoin is more likely to be affected. I sincerely don't know what could have necessitated this extent of decline in the coin market capitalisation, but I believe that the market would be bullish again.

Some Altcoins had a massive rally the last bull market, given the constant correction that's been going on in the altcoin market, some projects yet stands out and still will given the time is different. I still believe that alts season will pull these projects out from their current state to their real price at the appointed time.

Altcoin this time has not yet got their supposedly Bullrun with Bitcoin. This is not the most of us expect, from the past we expect that If the Bitcoin get its price to spike, the other Altcoins will follow too. But that was not the case today rather bitcoins go its own way to reach a 2x price hike this year.

Let's not overthink the situation this time, because we will never know If these Altcoins will follow the price hike this year. we can still hope because we haven't reach the 3rd quarter of this year.

Bitcoin continues to withdraw money from altcoins. looking at the graphs from the beginning of winter. you can clearly see that almost all the altcoins have fallen 3-5 times in relation to bitcoin

Altcoin is currently heavily influenced by Bitcoin, so Altcoin is in a downtrend and the ability to turn up is more difficult. The good Altcoin is potential when it maintains stability and development, hoping that in the next few months there will be a chance for Altcoin to grow again when Bitcoin is stabilized.

Altcoin still trying to survive in the bear market, and many of them are trying to increase the price. Unfortunately, the down of bitcoin price yesterday makes many altcoins get down.

And today, bitcoin is trying to rise again after it reaches the lowest price. But that doesn't mean bitcoin can increase in shortly because bitcoin still need to increase although it's hard. I am sure that altcoin will be increased again and no matter if we are waiting for a long time, all price of the altcoin will be increased too, especially if the bull comes.

Let's hope that this will ended soon so we can see the market will rise and give a chance to altcoin to increase and make the highest price again.

The bad image of altcoins will always be there especially if there prices are very low compare to bitcoin or because of the market situation.

Even if altcoins are struggling right now it doesn't mean that they cannot bounce back because if you are a follower of market for how many years then you can surely believe that not all the time altcoins will remain in the bottom or struggling.

Sell your altcoins for BTC while BTC is low hence a profit when btc goes up again. Altcoin season will try to be this way for more years, 3-5 years possibly. Its going to be testing your patience. The only reason I try to join the bounty campaigns for altcoin is because I'm just going to hold these coins for more than 3 years as well. I got it for free from bounty campaigns and will just keep it that way.

There are indeed good altcoins out there which are underrated but market conditions do dragged it out plus the tainted reputation of alts when it comes to scam and frauds.For now only the best ones would be included on the ranking and with the current BTC market dominance its hard to push up alts on positive side.

It is because there is no more real investors for blockchain companies. Only coins created by an exchange are still being kept by thoses speculators for their advantages like less fees to pay and the possibility to participate in an IEO. Bitcoin is the only coin that speculators are keeping. But that is very bad as no new money are going to come into this market as if a company take the risk to enter the market, his coin is going to be dumped after the first pump of his coin. It is not worth for them to invest into cryptocurrencies with the current speculators which only have faith on bitcoin and their coins linked to an exchange. It is only worth if they do an exit scam after selling their stock of coins for usdt or bitcoin.

Now the greatest potential is for altcoins, which have smart contracts and on the basis of which tokens are created. As soon as the new season of altcoins begins, so immediately they will sharply go to price increases, you will see.

Basically, I am also confused by the altcoin market.  When the bitcoin market is good, altcoin seems to be just flat.  There were no significant developments.  Is it possible it's all, because ICO scam in the past.  So that many people are starting to not believe in altcoin?

Yes. Don't know what the reason for such fall. But I still believe crypto and all will go up again. 2020 is approaching. So new ATH should come.

The next block reward halving for Bitcoin is approaching and that is probably why you are so optimistic about 2020. But that event may have an impact just on the Bitcoin prices and not for altcoins. Altcoins will continue to go down, and I won't be surprised if the Bitcoin dominance increases to 75% by the end of 2019 and 90% by the end of 2020.
