You don't really need to panic with such good portfolio, even on the bearish market. Your assets are definitely a good choice for a long-term. The real risk is a portfolio consisting of various low-cap altcoins with low liquidity and volumes. You can't be sure that anything of it will go up in value in future. So it's better to not invest more than 1-2% of your portfolio in such high-risk assets.

Waiting for altcoin season? I have stopped this because I have learnt that the market is ruled by many factors such as emotions, news; which in one way or the other affect this space. It's better to trade, Invest or do whatsoever you love doing in this crypto space while keeping tabs on the market. Waiting fully for altcoins season might make one lose his mind or even worst. At the right time, it will set in but no one knows when.

Usually, altcoin season needs a trigger. And what can trigger it is bitcoin price that pumped. I think speculate is ok, but what exact time for altcoin season to come, maybe for now since bitcoin price seems not really improve and tend to go down, hold as long as we can and just keep to be patient will be good. Since 2017 bullrun gone everything is turn to bad shape. But i still expecting next "hype" for cryptocurrency maybe next year? We'll see. The interest of investor on cryptocurrency faded and its a fact. We need someting to trigger "hype" so investor will back again. It just my personal opinion

If an altcoin season occurs, then it will be fabulous. But until then, it will be better to concentrate on Bitcoin. Some attention can be given to the most promising ones out of the established altcoins, such as Ethereum and Litecoin. Investment in new projects and the little known altcoins needs to be postponed until the start of the next altcoin bull run.

Your points are valid but saying "investing in new altcoins need to be postponed till next altcoin season" doesn't work that way for day traders. Even with the bad market, I make little profit from most trades, though not always while trading altcoins. Well, the bulk of my portfolio is in BTC. ETH is one alt I'm accumulating gradually preparing for staking when the time comes (ETH 2.0 launch) , hoping it's worth it.

In the last bull market, everything was completely different due to the market conditions and the attitude of the crypto investors. The altcoin prices are down more than 200% compared to my last altcoin portfolio and the chance for hoping the recovery is very very low. The bullrun is the name of the power that can change the situation but it can take years to trade in the next bull market.

Been suffer due to the dump in price of the crypto market is honestly not apply to everybody in the cryptosphere because experienced investors and traders are aware that after ATH is market correction/blood bath. But presumption about the to experience a hard time next year is wrong and that doesn't mean the market won't experience downtrend.

I'm surprised that bitcoin made some great movement this year but altcoin remains stagnant, however, I believe most alts are gaining more momentum to take off pretty soon so I guess it worth the wait.

Waiting for an altcoin to pumps would take time and definitely maybe by next year after the halving that is why it is much better to accumulate more and buy only the altcoin that has potential tl increase the value.

Altcoins season will come sooner or later. But there is low possibility to survive all coin, those are listed in coinmarketcap. High probability for 2021 to next bullrun. Now only new altcoins can make highest profits or trading also make good income. As mine altcoins season will take 1 year, but make profits always possible.

we all feel the same and with the current market condition, the chances of altcoins to achieve ATH are unclear because even the father of all coin is struggling to get back on its highest value. what happen on 2017 was really good but no one knew for sure if it was going to happen again.

It is difficult to predict the future of this market and the altcoin season usually happens very suddenly so you will not be able to predict when it will happen. I think that instead of waiting, you can also invest in some long-term coins in the top 10 because the value of these coins has fallen by more than 25% today. I believe this is the cheapest price of the year and you will make a good profit with a reasonable investment strategy.
