I don't feel afraid if the price still drops or at a low price like now because the market will be changed and will not like this forever. We could still try to search the profit from the altcoin because I am sure that the altcoin will up and down every day, so we have a chance to make a profit again. Besides that, if we could survive in these situations, I think we will get the opportunity to see the next bull run that might happen in this year or next year. So you need to hold your coins until the bull run comes and buy more amount if you still have money.

no its not surprising at all to me but maybe on you because you arent updated on the price charts for a while  . price movements are not bothering at all but what bothers me the most are still those scam projects ? (e.g bounties and airdrops or even some ieo's )   .  the cause of the drops is i think the recent hacking   , add in the manipulation and some sellers are also selling thier coins . this drop does have an impact but it dont totally harm the crypto environment  .

This volatility is just a market correction. When bitcoin grows so fast it needs to be regulated, the market is well aware of the bubble and its harm.
That's why when Bitcoin increases, traders just want to sell off but don't want to hold anymore.
Anyway, this situation will end soon and the alts season will come.

You should not be afraid of the current drop in the price of bitcoin, ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has grown very well in price between April and June of this year. However, it cannot grow in price constantly. Moreover, now there is a period of traditional decline in activity on all districts. I think that the current fall in the price of cryptocurrency will have a good effect on the next market growth in the fourth quarter. So this period of price reduction is best used for procurement. Especially you need to buy ethereum now, the price of which again fell very much.

I believe the current trend where bitcoin is dominating and most altcoins are just dropping in value is not a good sign for the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem. I started with Cryptos pretty much at the start of the 2014 bear market so right now nothing really suprises me anymore. Back then I never assumed BTC would break $1000 let alone go under $200 briefly.

The 2018 bear market was also a nasty bear market that didn't surprise me really that we managed to go from $20K all the way down to $3K. I honestly was expecting it to go much lower.

The peak in late June 2019 at $13.8K is nothing. We had a small dip and this isn't a bear market. Its summer and there are less and less people trading. Once the volume comes back in Sept/Oct we will see where the markets are headed.

I'm not excited and concern about the next all-time high this year, I'm ok seeing Bitcoin reach to at least $15k this year, it's still a good year-ender for all of us, I hate to see a repeat of what happened in 2018 when it continuously drop, let's just be happy that we are now past the 5 digit mark again

BTC was $3500 at the beginning of the year and is now at $10300.
That is absolutely insane growth.

Also, recent price drops follow market trends normally.

the market is in a bad state. This situation can be manipulated by whales who want a lower BTC price with a higher BTC dominance. As a small player I can only wait until things get better and choose not to trade altcoin and only focus on bitcoin and FIAT or stable coin.

Altcoins lost the value following the BTC and ETH, the market is connected deeply with tight specialities. Crypto prices are subject to the seasonal price change which don't be accepted by the amateur market traders. Every action on the market has the consequences, wise traders already bought another bag of cheap,small market cap coins. After the current market cycle, a new cycle will bring a fresh outlook on the altcoins in my judgment.

What's new? We have experienced this before, right? Having a longest bear market last year, bitcoin and most altcoins dropped heavily for so many months but we stil managed to wait. So, why bother now? If we can still patiently hold longer, there is nothing to worry about. Crypto market's concept is volatility, so expect some red days like these. No I'm not bothered because it is normal. All we know that crypto price is always fast moving. There are times that it will fall too much and time will also come that it will rise again. We don't have to bother when crypto price will drop. People should not be bothered at all, Bitcoin at $10,700 we are in a better position than we are 8 months ago at $3700 that's a big leap if you are a buying big time at that level, but if you are just buying right now you have the right to be bothered, these apply to all altcoins I'm just giving example on Bitcoin's performance in the last 8 months.

Because Bitcoin's performance also reflects how the altcoins perform in the market.
