In my opinion, Rodrygo should stay at Real Madrid, he should be more patient, the league hasn't started yet and it seems to me that the new coach is still experimenting with the squad to have a definitive formation and players who will always be the ones to start the game. it's still too early for rodrygo to move to the spl, as he's a young player with potential to develop his career in europe. although he's currently a substitute, he still maintains a strong loyalty and love for real madrid, motivating him to keep his contract until 2028.

As far as I know there is a lot of drama going on because of Ter Stegen and what he was told a while ago and how the club leadership now seems to have taken a U turn. I can understand his position, he is the captain and thought that wants he has fully recovered from his injury and brings his best performance, there shouldn't be any doubt about his position in the team, but things seem to have changed for some reason.

I don't quite understand it because apart from that injury, Ter Stegen has been a reliable player for so many years. What is the reason that they are now planning to replace him? Or is it just to keep up the pressure for the goalkeepers because every player needs competition on their position to continuously feel the urge to show their best game. That makes sense of course, but they could still give him a high trust level and communicate it to him. Misunderstandings aren't beneficial to anyone.

They have just extended with Szczesny until 2027 as well. They don't want to let him go soon either. I think these things are pointing to only one thing:

I wouldn't support the move of Rodrigo to SPL, because he is still very your and needs to create records for himself and win European trophies. If he goes to SPL, he wouldn't be popular anymore, because he is still coming up and not yet famous compared to the old footballers in SPL that went from Europe clubs. Ter Stegen is clearly superfluous in this scheme, since in the short term Barcelona relies on Szczesny + Garcia and Ter Stegen has no chance even in the medium term, let alone the long term, where Garcia is the priority. Barcelona needs to get rid him of the club in order to free space a spot for their new player. Getting rid him is one best solution available. I don't think his wage is the problem. It's because his wages is pretty small, which is only €121,154 weekly. His wages is not burdening the club, but has to follow 1:1 La Liga rules. So getting rid him of the club is best decision to take.
However, i still expect Barcelona to treat him badly like they did to the De Jong to pressure him in leaving from the club.
