Yes, currently Barcelona has brought in a new goalkeeper, Garcia, he is still young and his performance is also quite good. It's not about age because for a goalkeeper age is not a serious problem so that every team does not care too much about the age of a goalkeeper because the most important thing is his quality and most teams recruit goalkeepers who are no longer young also have clear reasons because they certainly have a lot of experience and also a strong mentality.

You are right, having a quality goal keeper helps to also motivate the team to do better in performance they will be motivated to show their best knowing that they have a goal keeper that doesn't not concede goals easily and a goal keeper that is smart, fast and doesn't make unnecessary errors that could lead to goals I believe these are the qualities that a good goal keeper should have before a club will consider going for him not just a goal keeper that is young without having experience in the game. The former Manchester United goal keeper David Degea at his age is still better than Onana the current keeper right now but both players are not of the same age.

One thing I can guarantee you about goalkeepers . is they are backbone support to many squads. Aside from their primary assignment to turn the tide of games with great saves, they also provide strong last line defense to entire the defense and back line of the team is well organized. They also play a leadership role on the.pitch by ensuring they provide the moral support and confidence to the players on the pitch especially when the players are filled with anxiety over the lack of victory or overpowered. Experienced goalkeepers know how to also inspire the defense side and create good attack opportunities in the midfield through accurate distributions to the right players. All of these and more are the reasons why experienced goalkeepers will always do better than the inexperienced ones. This made me remember Buffon of Juventus, he was up to 40 years and was still the first choice of the team even if they still had younger goalkeeper to keep for them, they wanted an experienced goalkeeper and that was why he was their first choice until he left the club. Experience is most important for every goalkeeper and what we saw when teams still make use of their old goalkeeper in top matches such as league matches and champions league matches was because they know the most experienced goalkeeper will do more justice to them than a younger or new one that just joined the team. Goalkeepers can spend longer time playing than normal players, so they’re at advantage of winning even more trophies than players, that is if they play in a more qualitative team.

What is meant by a permanent contract because from the beginning he was brought in with a contract in the sense that there was no loan or anything else even though the current contract is still on a short-term basis but it is still very good.

I don't think you've read it your reading the hand writing on the wall, Rodrygo isn't needed by the coach and clear. If you're needed the message would be passed across, Guler wanted to leave as he wasn't normally used by the then coach Ancelotti. Last season transfer window, he wanted to leave but Ancelotti said no that he will use him pre often than the previous season. Rodrygo was ahead of Guler in the selection order. At the end of the campaign, Guler wanted to leave and when Real Madrid appointed Alonso, he dropped a message that Guler should not leave that he will be used in his first team. That's why we have not heard of any Guler rumour of leaving again but that of Rodrygo.

2 years look too long for Szczęsny, but i'll take it because of how low his wage. He's also experienced enough, and can become a good mentor for Garcia. That's the only reason why Barceloa extended his contract. However, it seems this confirms Ter Stegen is not a part of Barcelona's future plan.
Let's imagine if Garcia become Barcelona's main goalie, then Szczęsny as the second, will they put Ter Stegen as the third?
