I'm so happy to see Lamine Yamal getting number 10 officially. He got it for the first time even while he was much younger than the time Lionel Messi got it. It was the 08/09 season in which Messi was given it as far as I know. He was 21 years old then. Yamal is 18 years old now. I still don't think it was an early decision though. Yamal has already started to prove himself. He deserves it. Last season, I watched Lamine Yamal with loads of sentiment and that is something I haven't done in a years (4) I don't intend things to be that way. He is a brilliant player handing him that jersey at 18 comes with loads, hardwork and responsibilities. I'm trusting he can step up when needed regardless regardless. They're sure winning the La liga competition again next season under Hansi Flick, we will see with time. Well we also have one litle * in this case, in the Messi case he have Ronaldinho with the number 10 jersey, it was not easy to take the number 10, in fact it was impossible. He only has to wait for Ronaldinho to leave. In the Yamal case no one can wear the 10 at that level, so the jersey comes much sooner to him.

Real Madrid is trying their best to consolidate the team with new comers like Dean Huijsen coming from Bournemouth and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool. Alvaro Carreras is the last comer to the team. So far Real Madrid is pointing to the defence line to fix the issues they are having there, especially with injuries during the season. There is also talks about a potential switch of Ibrahima Konaté + additional money by Liverpool in order to get Rodrygo in exchange. Both parties didn't agree about the amount of additional money, otherwise this possibility might happen because Liverpool don't want to see Konaté walk free to Real Madrid next year for free. So yeah, Xabi Alonso is working hard to make the team great again I love that the club has being able to identify their weaknesses and are working hard to improve those positions. After recent success with improvement to the defensive line they seem to have not concluded their strengthening process and want to recruit Konate from Liverpool whose contract ends next summer. According to reports, Liverpool are considering a sale this summer to avoid losing him for free.

Only a fool would argue about who is the best between Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi as both players deserve to be unrivaled legends. They are living examples of dedication to the game, consistently performing brilliantly every season at the peak of their careers. Even back then, we know their games were incredibly difficult. Many defenders in La Liga or other top leagues can injure their feet but they always bounce back.
Well said, this is just undiluted fact many find difficult to accept already. Saying Ronaldo and Messi were both unrivalled legend is 100% correct and I see that it is only fanatics with too much of biases of which they are not willing to drop any soon that will say other wise. The exceptionality both player has always displayed is one that should be always appreciated rather than been compared, for every team they have played for, their impacts has remained pronounced even after their exit. It will bee always better to rather just enjoy the game and the styl of play both player display than trying to look for points of comparison between the both players.

After failing at the club world cup, Bellingham is set to end its shoulder woes. Reportedly he will take a long break for shoulder surgery that has been suffered for almost 2 years. This condition is certainly an additional strength vulnerability. I don't know how many weeks Bellingham will rest, but I think he won't be able to start playing for the start of the season but prediction is October. But they do have a lot of cover although they still don't have much experience and hours in La Liga. Xabi still has Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz, Eduardo Camavinga, and Dani Ceballos. Source: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6484232/2025/07/15/jude-bellingham-shoulder-surgery-october-return/Yes, it's quite unfortunate that Bellingham has to be out after his surgery. But the most important thing is that the operation was successful, and now he just needs to focus on his recovery, which will indeed take quite a long time. The news I've heard is that he will be out for approximately three months. And yes, that means Real Madrid will start the season without Bellingham. However, Real Madrid is well prepared and has very high-quality replacement players. However, it still won't be the same as what Bellingham has, so it will still be a bit vulnerable for Real Madrid's performance. But hopefully, Bellingham can recover quickly and return to playing at his best when the time comes. But one thing that really impressed me about Bellingham was that he'd been dealing with his shoulder problem since November 2023. That's about two years ago. And he'd still been able to play so well all this time, despite the pain he was undoubtedly experiencing. I think this player truly possesses a strong fighting spirit, which is why he delayed surgery for so long. 1------------ Reference: 1. https://radarbanjarmasin.jawapos.com/bola/1976317003/jalani-operasi-bahu-jude-bellingham-bakal-absen-tiga-bulan

Real Madrid may not make the same mistakes as last season. Last season, Real Madrid's injury woes left them among the weakest teams in La Liga. Although they finished the season in second place, the biggest concern was their lack of attention from Barcelona. They failed to win against Barcelona last season. So they may be looking to sign some extra players to keep both the field and the bench in Real Madrid's favor. Last season, their main problem was defense, which they identified and fixed. Now they may be looking for replacements so that the team doesn't suffer any negative effects even if the team starts to suffer from injuries.

Yeah! He's better but think about what injury could do to him aswell just as injury ruined Fati... Injury did same thing to Neymar and now it's even worse as he moves from one injury to another. Messi was the guy that was entirely buit different when it comes to injury , wishing him luck anyways and as for Ansu Fati, he's still a bit young and needs more playing time . He could get that in Monaco hopefully and still gets back inform, I wouldn’t say he's not worthy of the shirt (it's just a number btw) Barcelona must have found him worthy to give him then aswell He is a player that hardly get injured on the field and that's what helped his career because while some players consistently get months injuries he is always free from that, when Lionel Messi was in Barcelona injuries wasn't his problem and even until he has moved to so many teams and his age still no worries for injuries, I most say that his body is gifted strong for soccer, although is very early to no whether Yamal will be troubled to grow because of injuries as he hasn't been having series of it yet and I believe he wouldn't face what Neymar go through on that as we saw on his career.

Been following EPL and La Liga games and of course I do watch all major Champions League games for ages now, I can boldly say that one two or three times, Rodrygo has engineered the win for Real Madrid in difficult situations. I can vividly remember this very encounter of Real Madrid Vs Manchester City were City were leading 4 - 2 on aggregate and with just few minutes to 90 minutes. If course the game was already done for and City were supposed to have qualified. I can't forget the probability of that game, City had 99% qualification chance while Real Madrid had just 1% qualification chance with less than 5 minutes to normal time and boom. Rodrygo scored twice in 2 minutes. Right now, that same Rodrygo is been pushed away despite the fact that he doesn't want to leave. Just few months of decline in performance and the club wants to throw him away. That's really sad.
Honestly, whether you like it or not, it must be acknowledged that Rodrygo has shown extraordinary dedication to Real Madrid. This is undeniable, as he has been one of the key players in almost every match, creating extraordinary moments that exceeded everyone's expectations. One of those fantastic moments, as you mentioned, was when Real Madrid faced Manchester City. where Rodrygo demonstrated his skills and experience as a professional player, turning the tide in the final minutes of the match, transforming a moment of sadness into joy. This was a rare moment that is unlikely to happen again. Currently, Rodrygo is facing a dilemma. Real Madrid is ready to let go of their hero, simply because his performance dipped slightly last season, complicating the situation further. Especially with the arrival of Mbappe and Vinicius, who have strengthened the attack, Real Madrid is now even more prepared to let Rodrygo go. When he was still coming up years ago, for those who watched Real Madrid games, it was just almost like Vini and when Rodrygo cooked, he became one of the pillars of Real Madrid attack even saving the team in tight games especially in Champions League nights. Just one season of decline and both the board and the new coach is throwing him out. That's really unfair from my own perspective but what can people like us do from here? Nothing, we are not part of the board that makes the decision, all I can say, is that I really wish him well in whatever team he will be playing.

Ansu Fati injuries definitely stopped him on his tracks, he could have been much better, many players could but him and Neymar are not the same thing. Neymar at least played a lot of years before he started to have these injury problems, before these injuries started he played insanely good and managed to actually be amazing. Fati never had that chance, he never became amazing at all, Neymar did.
Yamal already showed us what he can do, and what he is capable of but that means nothing if he starts to get injuries all the time. Now he has to not just prove he is good, he already did that, but he also needs to stay healthy for many years, only minor injuries with a few game missing is ok, and then play 50+ games a year, for 10+ years. Only then, he could maybe get close to Messi, and even then, it would be doubtful.

Heart felt farewell for Lucas Vazquez at the Santiago Bernebeu stadium today, the guy who gave up his real position to be playing RB for the team just because of the love he has for the team. His never complained about playing position or playing time, never asked for salary increment from the team, no transfer saga from him and always answers whenever the team needs him. I saw a few clips of the ceremony for him and Indeed it was a heart felt one. The fans will really miss him, I talking of the fans who understands who real sacrifice is all about.
Lucas azquez has been a long-time supporter of Real Madrid. After playing for Madrid C and Madrid B, he was in the main squad of Madrid until 2014-25. Vazquez has played an important role in keeping the defense strong. I thought Madrid would extend Vazquez's contract, since their defense is not strong enough yet. But the management did not do that, so sad. I am waiting to see which club Vazquez will be his next destination. But I have not found any news about this yet. You know, he is only 34 years old, also his fitness is very good, cause we see him face injuries very rarely, without a doubt, he can play in the jersey of any big club for another 3/4 years.

I think Bellingham's absence will have a significant impact on Real Madrid's performance. Although Real Madrid has players ready to fill the void while Bellingham is absent, it's highly unlikely that those players will be able to match Bellingham's contribution to Real Madrid's midfield. Therefore, Real Madrid's performance will likely decline slightly due to Bellingham's absence. However, this is unavoidable, as if Bellingham continues to endure the pain of his shoulder injury, it could have serious consequences. Bellingham has been nursing a shoulder injury for two years now, so postponing surgery is no longer an option. Therefore, Real Madrid must utilize the existing midfielders effectively. Xabi must also devise the right strategy to ensure Real Madrid's performance remains strong, even without Bellingham in the squad. And according to reports, Bellingham will indeed be recovering until October, but I personally think it could be longer. Because of the shoulder injury, his recovery will undoubtedly be quite lengthy.
Some people still claim that Real Madrid doesn't need any midfield signings that it's only defence they should sign, to further back their argument, they referred to the news of Real Madrid not signing any players again this summer. I just laughed, because they took that news to heart too much. I asked, as Bellingham is absent now, which Real Madrid current midfielder can take his place! No response. They just forgot that the game of football is played in the midfield, who ever controls the middle, controls the entire game.

I've seen reports that Arda Güler will be the new brains of midfield. If Real Madrid can adapt to this position, Arda has a truly excellent vision. After Kroos, they haven't been able to make the necessary signings in that area. This was their biggest shortcoming last year. This year, with Luka Modrić gone, the area has been completely empty. I think the Spanish manager has Arda Güler in mind for that position. If Arda Güler can hold his own in that position, it would be a great move for Real Madrid. Arda just needs to strengthen his defense a bit more.
Looking at the tactics and player placement in recent matches, I think Xabi is better than Ancelotti at utilizing the potential of his players. There were several players who were underutilized during Ancelotti's era, but under Xabi, their performance has improved, such as Arda, Fran, and Gonzalo. I mean, roles like Modric and Toni Kroos could be quickly replaced under Xabi. I think Xabi Alonso has many options; he can bring a new style of play to Madrid by boldly deploying young players. We can see this in the last few matches, especially in terms of transitions. His transition has been very impressive so far, from his initial back four to a back three, and when pressed, he immediately becomes a back five. Furthermore, he can utilize Valverde's role as a versatile player who can play in any position when needed. So, Xabi has options for the positions vacated by Modric and Toni. The gap left by Modric and Kroos isn't easily filled, but Xabi is trying his best to fill it. Furthermore, President Perez must not be considering paying exorbitant amounts of money to secure a transfer in that area. The incoming player needs to be much better than the current squad. I think President Perez must believe that Real Madrid's players can somehow fill that void. I believe in Xabi. If he wants it, this team can reach great heights.

Real Madrid has signed Dean Huijsen as their new CB you know. Now they have 5 CBs in the squad but let's not add Alaba into them so it is 4. I'm not sure whether they would still sign another player for the position. For midfield, they would absolutely make use of a signing now. Because Bellingham has picked up an injury and he is expected to be out for 3 months. A big loss for them. They need a reliable AM in his absence...

Mate this players you mentioned are extraordinary, i know that they are humans but there are things that that we see in them that has never been experienced before but nature or will I say they're favoured in their football history till this moment, just imagine a player that has incurable injury but still play with it perfectly till date, isn't that extraordinary, those two guys redefined football and made it look like it is too easy, I wouldn't say anything further am waiting to see if any player in the world will be able to shine the way the too guy did and still doing, there football career was too excellent that I don't like arguing who among them is better because I couldn't even figure out the difference between the two of them.
People who don’t have anything to argue about are the ones that argue about Ronaldo and Messi. These two players are not even on the same page, and both have really done well in their games. They have achieved so many things that I don’t think footballers of today can achieve, although I understand that many talented players are still coming, but I’m still yet to see a player that can do what these two guys do. And that is why even when people compare them, I feel these two players are almost on the same level, so there is no need to even argue about who is better.

Currently Real Madrid are focused on recruitment and improving the squad for Xabi Alonso. I wonder how Real Madrid will perform next season, judging by how Madrid performed in the FIFA Club World Cup it is clear that they are not yet where they want to be. I believe their struggles will soon be over soon because they have the quality and mentality to succeed in any competition.

Right now, that same Rodrygo is been pushed away despite the fact that he doesn't want to leave. Just few months of decline in performance and the club wants to throw him away. That's really sad.
Xabi is not a type of coach who relied upon the individual brilliance. He's 180 degree of Ancellotti. So decision to remove Rodrygo from the club may be right. There are too many superstars in the squad, and it makes the team become unbalanced. I'd like to see Madrid to play as a collective team, not one man show team. Other than Rodrygo, I'd like to see them to get rid Vini if they can. They must stop to keep a selfish player like him. Selfish? Vini has been in the since around 2018 or 2019 and no one has heard of this kind of saga from him before. I don't think I have seen where he demanded for more money before and his been giving his best all these while. The question now should be, what changed? After being brushed by Ancelotti, can you name one season that Vini has been bad almost all season long? You definitely can't because he was very good. Just last season, Vini recorded a bad season not just him but the entire team. Yes, Real Madrid was bad last season as a team. Now a new player comes in and earns higher than everyone else while their were players in the team already. Most people criticising Vini would do worse if they were in his shoes. Again, to command such amount of money, shouldn't your work rate tally with it?

Correct, if Vini was selfish, Gonzalo Garcia won't shine because Vini gives so many chances to him. Vini is just bad in attitude, where he act like a childish who need attention, but his performance always topnotch and consistent. I think Real Madrid still not able to become a champion in the upcoming season, Barcelona will still play with their previous players and other teams are still strong.

That is the only solution that will bring Real Madrid out from poor performance they experienced from la Liga league and other tournaments if the coach will begin to search for potential defenders and midfielders to sign in, which is the major wings that will change Real Madrid performance this season. Since the coach is not comfortable with the poor performance that happened to them, he will surely take a bold move to bring in some new players no matter the amount of money that will be involve that will change Real Madrid performance this season, because many people are expecting positive results from Real Madrid in the la Liga league and UEFA champion league game.

It seems Barcelona were not very interested in Nico Williams, you know he is a good friend of Yamal and Pedri. From what I heard, Laporta agreed to buy Williams because of Yamal's request. However, the rude reality is that Barcelona no longer urgent Nico Williams, Barcelona now needs a luminary replacement for Lewandowski. Also, Barcelona is still in financial disaster. In such a situation, it will be difficult for Barcelona to spend a large amount of money for Nico. The deal did not go through in the end, but Barcelona saved money. Barcelona can now find someone more talented. Nico cannot be considered a worthy replacement for Lewandowski. Cause I could see not yet Nico Williams netted more than 6 goals in a season in the Athletic Bilbao jersey.
For me it was a total failure on the part of Barcelona, ??because the player was very interested in staying at his club, not so much the rest, I think the main thing here is the lack of money for the Club, it would have been great for them to have gone to the Club World Cup, Real Madrid took $78M in Euros, Barcelona earned $52M when they won the league, so it was profitable for many, with money they would have brought him.

Real Madrid should be able to perform as expected next season after making a managerial change and overhauling the squad. Real Madrid failure in the Club World Cup was disappointing, but perhaps tolerable, as Xabi Alonso needed time to adapt. However, things will be different when Real Madrid enters the new season. Xabi Alonso will have no choice but to lead his team to a trophy next season, and his managerial career will be on the line. Real Madrid are not used to ending seasons without a trophy, and next season will be the perfect opportunity to make amends for their failures. With a pretty ideal squad, Xabi Alonso should have no trouble meeting all the demands, ultimately making Real Madrid fans happy again. Real Madrid chances are certainly quite high, but factors like player injuries will also be crucial in determining their progress.

If Yamal suffers injuries and doesn't return to his former form, it's true that he could be negatively affected, like Neymar. His career is currently on track to become one of the best players in the world. I think the biggest obstacle to that would be a serious injury like Musiala. I hope that doesn't happen, and the young player can demonstrate the same performance next year. I believe he can be very successful with Barcelona for many years to come.
