People keep complaining about Yamal's off-pitch behaviours, and I am struggling to see what he has done wrong. What is that horrible thing he did that everybody just agrees he is turning into something bad?
Is it the vacation? It's the off-season, and he's supposed to be on vacation. The party? It was a normal big birthday party with teammates, friends and family. I still don't see anything wrong with that. ~

Well, you saw the pictures from the party, it was his teammates and friends. Players that are family men like Lewandowski and Raphinha were there and this guys put all those behind and trained the next day.
So what if dwarfs were invited to perform? Its a party, they were paid to perform. Why is this been blown out of proportion? I don't see anybody complaining about dwarfs being used to make movies like snow white and all.

A girl said she was given an invite and said she was invited because the requirements for the invites is a certain kind of beast size or whatever. This same lady came out to say its wat she heard that she wasn't invited. Really? So shes just going to come out and lie so freely just for attention?

I don't care about criticism or whatever, but it should be for things that are true. Did he disrespect anybody? Did he do anything wrong? Even if we are to assume he invited OnlyFans models, what's the big deal there? Is he not allowed to have sex with whom he wants to if that's the idea? I mean, players do these things all the time, so why should we remember the moral compass only when it comes to Yamal?

Well, he is a poor man from the slums. The difference is, he didn't make his money from drugs. Both his parents are immigrants from different countries who were very poor and had to rely on friends named Lamine and Yamal for help. So if he is trying to live life to the fullest now that he's young and unmarried and has money, I don't see what the fuss is all about.

I don't think so, we're not complaining about anything he does on the pitch because it's purely about football and his performance is good so it's undeniable that it would be silly to criticize his performance on the pitch but the problem right now is Yamal and his behavior off the pitch.

He's like someone who seems to be hungry for validation and I think as a young player with his style now it's definitely not a very good thing to do because for a young kid who is still in his teens and acting like he can do anything just because he's doing well on the pitch is definitely a little bit too much for me.
He's had problems with adult actresses before and it wasn't just once and now the birthday issue has caused another problem with the news about him inviting/hiring dwarfs which has sparked some criticism.

Right now I think he needs to behave a bit more like a professional player because if he ends up being more problematic in his personal life, his good performance on the pitch could be buried by his behavior off the pitch.

It was really disturbing in the past three years watching Ansu Fati flopping in that famous #10 jersey of Barcelona. At the beginning he appeared as though he could carry on the legacy excellently as others before him but he was just a total disappointment. Lamine Yamal has been remarkable with Barcelona and this #10 iconic jersey handed to him will definitely spur him more than ever before towards winning more trophies for Barcelona and making history for himself just as Messi did.

Congratulations to Yamal no one is more deserving. His performance last season was really impressive he showed he worthy to inherit the legendary number and I believe he will not disappoint.

When I see people talk about Ansu Fati this way I really feel sorry for him, I know he didn't meet up to expectations but he was a very talented player with ambitions but injury didn't let him reach his full potential. The kind of injury he got was a career threatening one and I knew he wouldn't be able to perform well again even if he recovers. The same thing happened to Chaley Musonda of Chelsea.
So let's not forget the challenges he faced at a very young age that is why I can't blame him for what happened, he once brought smile on the face of Barca fans.

I believe Yamal can do even better than him but let's just hope and pray he doesn't experience such injuries too.

Who the head fits, let him wear the crown. Despite this, you still not need to overwhelm someone. I think Barcelona is already putting too much pressure on this young lad, he just turned 18 few days ago which now makes him an adult but his still a young player. There are certain Jersey numbers that are not to be played, yes his talented and can fill in the boots of Ronaldinho and Messi but are we sure his ready now? Let Barcelona not put too much weight on him.

One thing I love about La Masia is that they always produce talents if you check Barcelona's current squad you'll see a good number of players from the academy doing well in their senior team and it makes lots of sense cause the club won't be spending heavily every season to buy players just like their rivals Madrid is doing. Yes Lamine Yamal is the best in Barcelona for now but I believe another talent from La Masia would emerge soon.

Yea that's one outstanding thing about them, although the truth is that no matter how it is they will be needing some players from other club but the situation they are now wouldn't allow them to get some sophisticated players considering the price of the players, so it nice that their academy is their to help at this point of time that they really need those players, saying that lamine Yamal is the best in Barcelona team is an understatement statement I think I will rather say that he very much excellent currently until we see other ones come but as it stands the present is what really matters and you'll agree with me that Yamal is the man.

That's why I suggested, they should just sell the players they have, like non-la masia ones, raphinha, lewa, whoever they come up with. And instead, either get free agents for cheap salaries, or just use la masia players. Look at what they have, cubarsi, pedri, gavi, and specially yamal, there are so many great players, I think balde is from there too.

Financially they are in trouble, and they are still looking to spend money, why? Don't get expensive players, don't use a dime on transfer fees, either get someone free agent and pay less than 10 million a year, or get someone from the la masia and would be nearly free. All those transfers they make, and high salaries they pay, is the root cause of why they are having this financial trouble at the moment.

With this latest news, I would say Barcelona preserved the number 10 jersey for a befitting person ever since Messi left, and am not surprised Lamine yamal has been found worthy to wear that prestigious number 10. Been following EPL and La Liga games and of course I do watch all major Champions League games for ages now, I can boldly say that one two or three times, Rodrygo has engineered the win for Real Madrid in difficult situations. I can vividly remember this very encounter of Real Madrid Vs Manchester City were City were leading 4 - 2 on aggregate and with just few minutes to 90 minutes. If course the game was already done for and City were supposed to have qualified. I can't forget the probability of that game, City had 99% qualification chance while Real Madrid had just 1% qualification chance with less than 5 minutes to normal time and boom. Rodrygo scored twice in 2 minutes. Right now, that same Rodrygo is been pushed away despite the fact that he doesn't want to leave. Just few months of decline in performance and the club wants to throw him away. That's really sad.

The next Riquelme? Atlético Madrid secure Thiago Almada in complicated deal from Botafogo

Atlético Madrid continue to strengthen their midfield ahead of the 2025/26 season. After already signing midfielders Álex Baena and Johnny Cardoso, the club announced the addition of Argentine playmaker Thiago Almada from Botafogo. The 24-year-old has signed a contract with Atletico Madrid until 2030. Atlético Madrid will pay €21m for 50% of Almada’s rights to the Brazilian club.

It is a complicated deal. Atlanta United sold Almada to the Eagle Group, owned by American investor John Textor, in July 2024 in a deal worth €27 million. The parameters of that deal are now fulfilled, making the Argentine the second most expensive player in MLS history. Almada then joined Botafogo with the intention of making a permanent move to Olympique Lyon in January 2025.  That portion of the deal was completed as planned on 15 January 2025. Severe financial problems at Lyon then led to a change in leadership to avoid relegation from Ligue 1.

Seeing Vazquez is this position is nostalgia. I remembered when he was very much younger then. Definitely older now, the club is getting fresh legs and young star to compete just like before as the big boys.

Man can get this opportunity but he may have to wait long before a team maybe possibly in Serie A in order for him to remain in the top league of Europe.

You are right that if yamal face aggressive defenders like Pepe and Ramos, Yamal may face big problems. It will not be possible for Yamal to score as many goals as Messi. However, Yamal is a promising player. Yamal can be considered as one of the best forwards of the present time. If this young Barcelona player gradually becomes more experienced, we may see 25+ scores every season from Yamal.

Real Madrid will never take the risk of being dependent on a specific player. Madrid is strong as a team. And that is why we see Madrid playing well consistently in all platform . Madrid competes for the title in both La Liga and Champions League. If they depend on a specific player, it is very difficult to continue to perform well consistently on each platform. at the same time it is very risky. Xabi Alonso is an experienced coach. Even at Leverkusen we saw that Alonso was not  dependent on a specific player. He did not create his match strategy. And he will do the same in Madrid.
