Actually I was surprised by the statistics of their game, sevilla seemed to have the ball but they couldn't score.

Next I hope Madrid get 3 points against Sociedad and they will get closer to the La Liga title. I expect Madrid to win 2-0 because they perform at the Bernabeu.

The only reason Sevilla are second is because Atletico and especially Barcelona have had a dramatic first half of the season. Barcelona now has the points together, have played a game less than Sevilla and I expect that they will still go over Sevilla. Sevilla is a good team, but certainly not the 2nd best team in Spain. The championship has not been interesting for a long time, Real Madrid is whistling about that.

I have enjoyed a great match so far. Although Celta Vigo was the favorite in this match, Mallorca's performance was outstanding. Mallorca scored three goals. However, the performance of Celta Vigo was really excellent. They made 14 shots. 7 shots were on target. Mallorca are now out of the relegation zone by sharing points in this match. Mallorca is now in the 16th position in the table.

Barcelona now has the points together, have played a game less than Sevilla and I expect that they will still go over Sevilla. Sevilla is a good team, but certainly not the 2nd best team in Spain. The championship has not been interesting for a long time, Real Madrid is whistling about that.

I would say that over the course of a whole season, all 38 games played, every team deserves to stand where it stands. Hence, if Sevilla manages to keep their second rank, I would say they have simply been better than Barcelona this season. Yes there might be minor things like one team got one or two penalties in decisive situations, but clearly this is not the case between Sevilla and Barcelona. Barcelona just has underperformed, that is why they are so far behind even though they have started to stabilize their game.

This is a pretty exciting match this week in my opinion.
High tempo, lots of goals that were nested and the drama of 2 red cards in the last minute became a very tense season in this match.
2 Penalties, One Own Goal is not too much of a problem in my opinion and of course Mallorca are quite frustrated with the 4th Penalty goal by Aspas in the last minute of extra time

That was quite a dramatic match, honestly. The score kept going back and forth, and Mallorca always seemed to have a response having gone behind 3 times in the game already, but lucky or not at the end Celta Vigo in my opinion got a deserved win, as they were the better side for majority of the game.

It was almost a big fail but Barca made the comeback in the end. Before the end of first half they conceded a goal, it was a great pass by Pedri (), unlucky moment for him. Luckily that didn't cost them much, Ferran and Memphis changed the score sheet. Adama with the cross and nice touch by Jordi Alba made the first goal for Ferran Torres. You may say the penalty was a cheap shot but ref made decision after watching the position in VAR. Memphis made a hard shot with confidence that looked dangerous, he found the net though. Easy looking game finished as hard as that but Barca is still in the race for the league.

Barcelona are out of the league race if you ask me, but everything is still worth playing for and today's game was a prefect example, dominated but went behind with Elche's first shot on goal, the match however, could easily have ended with a bigger scoreline for Barcelona, quite unlucky, but also a bit wasteful before and even after conceding.

If there is anything I love about Barcelona right now it's the multiple attacking options on the frontline, and all players seem to be fighting for a starting spot.

Good preparedness ahead of the champions league game. Ancellotti's team is in a good shape and I'm happy to see that.

Yes, at least they can improve their game, and this is a good asset for Real Madrid before facing Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League. They have a very tough job, having to catch up with them following their loss in the first leg. I hope Real Madrid can play the way I want, and can turn things around in the future.

I am pretty sure that there is a good case to be made about Real Madrid always staying at the top as well. Like they were not the best team a decade ago, Barcelona was amazing and they won like 6 cups in a season and all that, however we are talking about Real being like at the top even during those times, either lose it by a smidge or ending up winning.

So, we are seeing them always be at the top. Barcelona sucked for a while now, and even during those times Real still ended up being great. Literally had 3 champions league in a row during turmoil at Barcelona. Now, while everyone like benzema or modric or kroos or whoever ALL got old, and they are still playing very decently.

Although Barcelona were 1-0 behind at the end of the first half, they still made a nice comeback and won by 2-1. Their recent performance has been very impressive and they were solid in this one too. And they are holding the third position in their hands for now. Their keeping the position is depending on the result of Betis - Atletico Madrid match. As long as Betis don't win, Barcelona will keep it that way. And most probably, Barcelona would even end the season at their current position.

It was really a hard fought win for Barcelona, elche isn't an easy team to beat and when Barcelona went down in the first half it even became hard to come back in the second half to win, Barcelona new rise is one I appreciate. Seeing them in the top 3 and with 15 point and an outstanding game behind real Madrid I will say it isn't going to be a bad season going by the quality of players they have lost before hand. I feel the spirit are high in the team and now they are working more together than ever.

In this match Sociedad is really like waking up a sleeping tiger lol.
Their breakthrough in the early minutes of the first half was enough to make an impact on Madrid's game.

I think we can confirm that Madrid secure the title this season , Sevilla are not competitors anymore they have lost their way wasted some important opportunities including yesterday's easy match.

After conceding very early goal now Betis is settled and have very good hold on this game they are not allowing Atlético Madrid for another goal and Injury time goal from Tello bring home team at level again it is really entertaining and good game from two big teams in Spanish League for fourth spot after end of first half now most chances they will take some good from this game because Atlético Madrid is not in good touch for some weeks, and they are doing their best for having some better but Betis which is also having very good start of season now facing some very bad time, so they need to do some better in second half which is very important for them otherwise they are going to lose this match and their hard-earned spot in league table.

I see that Real Madrid by the end of the first half was really angry with the "intractability" of Real Sociedad and now in the second half I expect a defeat with a big score. The pressure from Madrid is expected, because it's their style of play, they just wore out their opponents and got what they wanted

Great final achievement result for Real Madrid after success defeated Real Sociedad 4-1 and now behind 8 points from Sevilla on 2rd position standing. Real Madrid have top performance looking in statistic Real Madrid success get dominance on ball possession and have 8 shot on target depending Real Socciedad only success cretaed one shot in target. Good capital for Real Madrid against with PSG next few days later on champion league and I hope could defeate PSG above 2 goals.

Yeah, there's no other way to put it, Real's position is really good. As I look at the table, Barcelona could well climb up to second in the table, why not? They're doing well, the team is recovering. And the way they started the season was awful, everyone was burying them (I don't remember, but I think I did too, at least until Xavi came in).

Lol , hillarious. Both the real sociedad and real betis beaten by the madrids , yeah atletico madrid and real madrid .. it's the real vs the madrid matchweek. However the negative football still there in atletico as they too much defending and i really hate to see it especially when finally they finished the game with a win while actually real betis are the one who played it aggressively.

But yeah atletico play much more effective with their negative football. Well done.
