Ancelotti and his players know they got no luck in La Liga and comparing Barcelona they just need a miracle to win the title of La Liga what's why I think they focused on the champions league more than anything because they know intestine of using the potential for La Liga where they got no hope, they can use this potential in the champions league and get better results there.

I agree with you, mate. Real Madrid must show their best form for the rest of the season even though they don't have a big chance to win the La Liga title. There is prestige involved in each of their matches, that is what they will always strive for. Of course it would be a shame if a team like Real Madrid could be beaten by most of the bottom teams, so Ancelotti also needs to avoid that for the rest of the season. Real Madrid is not winning the La Liga title this season. For them to win the title, something really unbelievable has to happen. And I don’t think Barcelona will somehow suddenly become that bad. I also agree that Real Madrid is obviously more concentrated on the champions league right now. and I also think that Barcelona is taking a little advantage of that.

Right now, Barcelona is not performing well, at least not the best in La Liga. I believe, even though Real Madrid is probably not going to win that La Liga title, they are still going to win the champions league title and also the Copa del Rey title. Also, they will be finishing the season in the second position in La Liga. All of these results combined, it doesn’t make Real Madrid look bad. If they win the champions league, the results actually look very good for them.

It is true that Cadiz is slightly superior with quite good results in its last few matches. But I think even though Cadiz has this advantage they still won't be able to win at Espanyol. It's possible that if there is another result Cadiz can hold on to a draw but that's also a small chance in my opinion. We can see that the meeting between the two at the start of the season has ended in a draw, so I think the same result could still happen. But I return to my initial view, that Espanyol will be able to win but not with a large number of goals.

If we see from Cadiz statistics, it is currently in 16th with a score of 31 points. For Atletico Madrid, we know the best result they can get is to get third place in the table as they do right now and finish the season in this position while they can still think about Real Marid's position and they need five points for it but considering the current performance of both teams I don't think if that's even possible for Atletico Madrid to reach the second position of the table until the end of this season even if they show the same performance we saw against Real Betis.

Atletico Madrid just need to maintain their form and keep their chances in the European zone next season, which seems to be the most realistic target for them at the moment. It's also not important to finish in second place even though it's a nice achievement. But in my opinion, it would be better if Atletico Madrid only focused on good performance instead of hoping to finish second.

This week Atletico Madrid will travel to the Vallecas Stadium, the headquarters of Rayo Vallecano. I think it's a match that will benefit Atletico Madrid because Vallecano is not in the best form at the moment. So far Atletico Madrid are safe in the standings even though they are 6 points away from Sociedad and 9 points from Real Betis.

I know that there are many Atlético fans and I don't blame them, it's a great club, for me one of the best in all of Spain, and even though Real Madrid is not an Unattainable team, I think that here things happen for a reason, Madrid has a wide Advantage over Atlético, just as Barcelona has over Madrid, so in these cases Madrid is focused on Passing Barcelona, but for some reason they have not been able to overcome it, what we could see is that Madrid wants the first place and win the League,Atlético only wants to be in the top 4, if Atlético wanted to win the League, I think things would be different.

I don't agree with the opinion that Barcelona aren't actually strong this season. Yes Real Madrid have been really inconsistent in the league so far but it would be unfair to Barcelona if we overlook their high effort. They lost only twice after all those matches and they didn't draw with their opponents so many times either. While they are the second most scoring team they have conceded only 9 goals in 29 matches in the league. Especially the defensive performance is really insane I think.

Barcelona's only problem is with their playing really bad in Champions League matches. Xavi still can't find a solution to this problem but I believe in them to do better next season there as well.

This might even help them finish the season in the second place depending on the results Real Madrid will get from now on. But this team should be able to be in the title race until the last weeks of the season. They need some important changes to be made to make this real.

I don't think the problem in atleteco is in the management but the squad need some improvements in the next few months, the next mercato will be a good opportunity for them to bring some new players and make their squad stronger and fight for the trophies next year

Agreed, real madrid didn't have luck in la liga. it's quite better for ancelotti to focus into the remaining match that can be won by real madrid. Madrid is still having copa del rey and UCL. Ancelotti just never need to think intensively about la liga. Just continue and play. If real madrid will be lucky enough and barcelona will be slowing down.

At least this result managed to break their continuous series of defeats and this is still a good thing even though this is still not able to lift their position again even though for the next few matches they will have to try harder because there are Villarreal, Sevilla, Atletico and Barcelona .
This match was quite balanced and seeing from the actual conditions both teams played very well.

As a summary I would say if you can't beat Cadiz in a home game in that situation, then why stay in La Liga at all? Again a big La Liga story is probably coming to an end. No more derby between the Barcelona teams.

I didn't expect anything good to come out from espanyol in the clash against Cadiz.they are at their worst this season.
Cadiz whose high-class performance against Real Betis, will not accept any defeat from Espanol at this moment.  Espanola will still have to remain in their Relegation zone until the club is willing and ready to invest much money in the team. I see that the club is running out of resources that is capable of fighting in La liga.  Espanyol team is filled with too many old players, they need new young talent that can withstand the pressure in La Liga
