Indeed, Barcelona should have won easily in their last two matches. However, sometimes the Blaugrana have a very difficult time only in terms of scoring goals and this is quite evident in last month's match, which was only able to win with a 1 goal advantage.

But then Real Madrid is a strong club and I believe that in the dying minutes, real Madrid can still outperform Barcelona even though that look impossible,  but the possibility is also there judging from Real Madrid's previous performances.

This Sunday there is going to be a really lovely match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in Camp Nou.

However I'm not sure if this match would be very exciting to watch. Because it is like both of these teams are comfortable in the league from now on. Barcelona are running to become the league champions and Atletico Madrid are most probably going to finish the season at the third position at worst. But who knows maybe the teams would still like to do their best as it is one of the significant matches of the league. Atletico Madrid are in a wonderful form these days therefore I wonder if we can see the same ambition in this match also. Barcelona have started to get goalless draws recently so maybe they might not win this one also.

It is weird to see that Barcelona hasn't scored a single goal in the last three matches. Now against Real Madrid they got destroyed, but in La Liga not scoring at all is bad also for the other teams. That comes even close to a distortion of the competition. I think that Lewandowski is past his peak. 17 goals in 29 games is an average performance especially when you play for Barcelona. He does have seven assists as well and that might still make him valuable, but I am sure that more was expected from him. They are out of the Copa and no more international tournaments and then I would expect that they take responsibility and play the best they can. Even the La Liga title is only average when they keep playing like this. It is not fun to watch their games at all these days. Their defense is great of course, but scoring less than two goals on average per game is weak.

Usually when Barcelona is like this there is Pedri who is always the differentiator and gives goals for Barcelona when other players cannot do it but when Pedri is not in the squad they are like a dead end.
They have a lot of chances in the 3 matches they have run (2 La Liga & 1 Copa Del Rey) but their on target is quite bad which makes it very difficult for them to convert chances into goals.

Maybe the coach thought that only relying on Robert Lewandowski in the position of the attacking team was enough to score goals, but in reality, until the last half, Robert Lewandowski was unable to score, even though he had tried several times up to 15 attempts to shoot at goal but could not score at all. Xavi must consider a better strategy and must not let the score always draw.

I don't think so, the conditions are a bit unfavorable for Xavi because indeed some of their core players cannot play for now due to some not being fit so indeed they can only maximize some of the existing players while creating several opportunities for other young players to gain trust and minutes play. So you know Atlético Madrid is a very in shape team, even the results of their victory in the last games were quite good. They are playing a consistent game and I would say they have been playing even better than Barcelona lately. I am close for the draw, it will not be easy for Barcelona. If they get a defeat in this match, Barcelona's self-confidence will be shaken and the points will decrease to single digits. It seems to me that they will go back and look for a lot of points lost in these past weeks.

a very significant drop in performance occurred in the Barcelona team in the last 2 weeks but that didn't really make the Barcelona team falter at the top of the standings because their competitor Real Madrid who is in second place is also very inconsistent, so if you look at the points advantage Barcelona is still very comfortable at the top standings.

The draw that Barcelona got in the last match did not threaten their position at the top of the standings because so far they are 11 points ahead of Real Madrid. However there are a few things to highlight, that the loss of a creative midfielder in the squad has made it difficult for Xavi to rotate players, thus impacting the results of their last two games. It's not just the fight for the La Liga title and it's not Real Madrid who is in second place as a challenger, but Xavi should be more focused on La Liga because they don't have any other competition.

He scores the impossible goals despite his age and frankly speaking, I didn't think that Benzema will come back like this.

I was really surprised by the match between Valencia and Sevilla. Valencia held two-thirds of possession for the entire match. Even then, Valencia could not score any goals and could not attack much of anything. On the other hand, Sevilla's attack created great chances and managed to score two goals. The match needed a Valencia victory as the standard of play.

valencia only dominated ball possession but they didn't have an effective attack, it was clear to see because of the 3 shots on goal they made, none of them became goals, while for sevilla they successfully completed all the opportunities that existed and from 3 shots on goal they made, 2 of which became goals. sevilla getting further away from the relegation zone.

Valencia had the possession but the struggled to break into Sevilla's defense. The were having good short from outside the box but none went near the post, we also saw eager they were to play penalty on two occasions. Sevilla were able to create good chances for themselves. They had better communication on the skill than Valencia, the two goals scored against Valencia showed how poor they were to defend a game they were possessing.

Valenica's track record of consecutive losses in matches is alarming, the last one they had with Sevilla, I did not watch it but the outcome did not surprise me. Instead of focusing on their shortcomings, Valencia's spokesperson is engaging in an unprofessional altercation with the referee, very bad in my opinion.

On a lowkey, Valencia is good but their performance was only outstanding in the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey tournaments that have even ended. They have consistently placed between 10th and 15th in Lalilag (the Spanish league) over the past five years. It is possible that this season could result in their relegation, with an opportunity for further training.

It's undeniable that Lewandowski doesn't seem as strong as he used to be, or maybe he doesn't get many chances. Especially in the last two matches where Barcelona have always been drawn without any goals. The last time Lewi scored a goal was when Barcelona won against Elche he was able to contribute with his 2 goals. Maybe recently Barcelona's performance as a whole has been declining. Luckily they still have a significant difference in the number of points so that this drawn result is not too problematic for Barcelona in general. However, the performance seems to have decreased significantly.

BITCOIN4X, I am seriously concerned about the attacking of Barcelona. Honestly also a little concerned about the finishing as well. They are not winning the matches that they should be. Yes, I know they are ahead on the table in terms of points. But that does not give them the freedom to do anything yet, right?

Yep. The problem is clear, they never scored in the last 2 matches. Everyone should be surprised that Barcelona only made 3 shots on target in the last 2 matches, it looks like a very different game style from Barcelona. They only focus on winning the ball possession but they didn't give a big determination on creating good chances on scoring attempts. Not sure whether they feel so comfortable with the current point gaps or they lost motivation to score goals. However, it would hurt them if they continued to lose points. At least, Lewandowski may lose the chance to be the top scorer this season. Xavi must evaluate Barcelona players' morale and his tactic/strategy.

I keep wondering if Is this the way Barcelona intends to win the LaLiga title (drawing games that would give them points)? They have currently played three straight games without a victory, all with unsuccessful outcomes of scoring not even a goal. They appear to have forgotten that by losing easy matches, a big opponent like Real Madrid is inching closer to them in the league table.
Between Real Madrid and Barcelona, there is an 11-point difference. Real Madrid is at an advantage over Barcelona each time they draw or lose in some of their matches.
