They were really demolished by Manchester City in the Champions League as well. Ancelotti is still here and I wonder whether he will leave this summer.

He has looked positive about a potential deal as well. If we see an official offer Real Madrid would need to search for a new reliable manager.

Probably a great success for an aspiring coach who is almost straight out of his footballing career. Especially Barcelona one of the best European clubs. At first I was surprised that the newbie became a coach, but when their game returned to its former professional level I believed in Xavi. After Messi's leaving and before the coming of Xavi, Barcelona had fallen on hard times.

You weren't the only person surprised by the appointment of Xavi Hernandez as coach of Barcelona, but they even doubted Xavi Hernandez's ability because he was considered not a coach who had experience, and at that time there were still many coaches who were considered much better and more suitable to handle Barcelona. But now many people who doubt Xavi Hernandez are silent, because Xavi has succeeded in answering the doubts pinned on him with an achievement.
But on the other hand I understand why many people doubt Xavi, the fundamental reason is his experience as a coach, and also that he only managed one club before he became a coach at Barcelona.

It doesn't feel like we are already at the end of the season and there is one more game left for each club as the closing game of the season. There are interesting things at the bottom of the board. Now Valladolid is in the relegation zone with a collection of 39 points, but they still have a chance because they are only 1 point different from Celta Vigo and Almeria who have a collection of 40 points. Not only that, Valladolid is only 2 points different from 3 other clubs with a collection of 41 points, namely Valencia, Getafe and Cadiz.

It is a real mess at the bottom of the table in La Liga.Espanyol didn't manage to win this last game against Valencia which should have permitted them to dream for this last round of La Liga,now they will be relegated in La Liga 2 for next year.The other teams up to Cadiz are all in danger of relegation and most likely the teams playing at home are somewhat more favored than those playing away in this last round as the support of their fans should be a 7th gear for the team and players and this can make them play better overall which can be translated in a win of this last game.

Now it's just a matter of seeing who will end up in 18th place in the final standings because some clubs are still capable of being in that position.
At the moment Valladolid are in that position for now and their opponent is Getafe. Of course this last game will be decisive for them and the 3 points must be earned no matter what if they really want to return to play in La Liga next season because a draw will not have any impact on their position.
But on the other hand Getafe also obviously don't really want to expect the last match to be a defeat because regardless of anything even if they are a little bit safe but if they do lose their position will be a little lower and they won't expect that.

If Valencia is not smart enough, they could come down and risk their position further down, not to relegate but I think we need to see what Barcelona will play with Celta, they could end as a draw because that is what top teams have been playing recently when they know that they are already the league winners and when this happens, Celta can gain 1 more final point or may win the match to gain 3 points and go ahead. However, I don't know why this season, teams were not too serious, their performances are very poor with too much closeness in matches, they don't seem like teams that are determined to me, the unserious ones should be relegated very so that we can have new teams on board.

This is probably one of the closest tables I have ever seen in any league. A two point difference between 13th and 18th on the last match day. I had a quick look now and it is still possible for Cádiz CF to be relegated if all others win their games? That is not very likely, but still the fact alone that you are 13th and are not safe from being relegated on the last match day is quite a unique situation.

Aha no they are safe because Real Valladolid plays against Getafe, but even that is weird. Getafe must not lose. Still a lot of action in La Liga. It is a similar situation regarding the Conference League qualification. Again five teams who still have a chance to qualify.

Real Madrid had no good taste of significant trophy this season, they will belt up next season and sort out their problems. The team needs some new players inother to replace the weak bones in the club. Carlo Ancelotti have no plans to leave Real Madrid presently, he will remain in the club and execute solid projects that will yield good points for the club. Madrid president, Florentino Peréz have a long term contract for Ancelotti, despite the fact that Brazil wants him at all cost, he remained in Santiago bernabeu. He's looking forward to win more trophies for the club next season.

For Ancelotti, nothing could be done in Real Madrid more than already done with the actual squad. More training and maybe more consolidation of the defence line will make things better for them next season in La Liga and Champions League eventually.
Moving to Brazil to train the national team there will be a very good opportunity in my opinion for Ancelotti that should not be missed. Otherwise improving Real Madrid squad will not be an easy job at all.

That's true, no one of the teams from the zone you mentioned is safe from relegation so the last round will be very interesting, Valencia wasted a big opportunity to escape relegation after a draw against Espanol, now they should do everything to win the match against betis and put themselves away from calculations

Ancelotti has been realized this situation that since last season he was attempts to regenerated Madrid squad and the players such as Eduardo Camavinga,Tchouameni and Vinicius Junior which is categorized as young players have already giving important contribution for Real Madrid so this team will not be lacking of talented midfielder players but i am sure Madrid will not satisfied with the current squad and most likely they will buying new players this summer and Bellingham seems could be good choice and probably can be suitable for the team

But in my opinion Madrid should be focus to find the replacement of Benzema because during this season there were no players who can be performing well everytime he was absense and indeed Ancelotti has attempts to played other players such as Rodrygo to replace Benzema position but seems his performance is still far from the expectations so buying new strikers is necessary for them

I don't understand what Bilbao is thinking, they seem to have lost motivation to win and have to accept defeat from a weak team that has been confirmed to be relegated, namely Elche. Even if Bilbao can get an additional 3 points, then they will get a place in the conference league next season, but it seems that they have lost their winning mentality until the last minute.

Even though in other matches Osasuna also failed to win against Getafe and Bilbao should have used this opportunity well to win at home. Now Bilbao and Osasuna are 50 points equal and in this week's game it will be decisive for the two teams to fight for a place back in the conference league.

I think madrid are not very consistent in winning the league so they are more focused on the UCL and feel confident that they can overcome every opponent they will face, so I think that's what happened so when they were thwarted by manchester city they couldn't catch Barcelona in top of the standings so have to be content with winning the Copa Del Rey, I think Ancelotti is a coach that suits Madrid so it is difficult to adapt if he has to be replaced.

Madrid must accept their failures this season and they should prepare better players in the next season, for example hunting for new players in the summer to strengthen Madrid to be even better next season. there is a lot that needs to be overhauled in terms of the game as well as the players.

Although Ancelotti gave his all for the team and deserved to be recognized, I don't believe his absence will have an impact on Real Madrid. Instead, Real Madrid needs a good manager who will lead the team to success in the LA Liga and Champions League the following year. Because Barcelona supporters believe that their team is superior to Real Madrid's, it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to win the LA Liga title.

If Barcelona had not been eliminated so early in the Champions League, it could be said that this was a great season for Bareslona and Lewandowski. Bookies knew that if valladolid will be using everything to win against getafe as soon as possible. I don't care about another match but this match gonna be my main focus. I thought that if valladolid has very small chance to leave from relegation zone since getafe's performance is quite well at this moment. I see no chance for valladolid to win against it.

I do accept opinion from others caused by this is football. Anything can happen during the match but seeing the recent performance from getafe makes me feel better with it.

How is Barcelona better than Real Madrid? What parameters are you using to compare both team? To me this season Real Madrid performed better, and played in the champions league semi finals , Barcelona was out of European football and they only focused on the league games, while Real Madrid was playing midweek and weekend games. So it affected their performance a bit in the league, couple with injuries. Yet Real Madrid won the copa del Rey , to me they had a successful season.
