Girona's defeat against Vilarreal never occurred to me. The reason is, in this match, since the first half, Girona was able to dominate the game and always launched attacks which were very troublesome for Vilareal's defense. Therefore, I predict that Girona will definitely win with a landslide score in this match. But apparently, until the first half was over, not a single Girona player's attack had resulted in a goal. In fact, in the second half it was Girona who conceded, and until the match was over Girona failed to equalize. In my opinion, Girona was very unlucky in this match. The reason is, there were several golden opportunities that almost became goals, but unfortunately they were always thwarted by Vilareal's defenders.

Even though it's heavy, Girona must be able to accept this defeat, and of course must bear the shame of losing at home. Apart from that, the possibility that Girona can finish as runners-up in La Liga this time is a little doubtful. The reason is that this opportunity could not be utilized properly in the match against Vilareal this time. Girona dominated the match actually but they were too reluctant to win Villarreal maybe since they have been confirmed to have qualified for champions league next season so they feel no reason to be to serious for a win against Villarreal so that was the reason they were beaten however Villarreal have a very good defensive line hence Girona's forwards were unable to penetrate but I can't stop applauding Girona's optimism for a champions league slot and they have been able to achieve that which is the most important thing that happened to them this season because it would have been bad that after they started the season very well and they were not able to make it to the champions league next season so they deserve some respect regardless of what the outcome of their remaining matches may be.

There's is no awards for a runner up in the league so I don't think there is anything wrong if Girona are unable to come out second in the table the most important point is that they have made it to the Champions league next season that's okay for the team maybe they can do better next season.

After securing the Champions League ticket Girona started to play more complacently which is normal. First a draw against Alaves and now a loss at home. Probably Barcelona will finish the season at the second position from now on. They continue to win after that Girona loss. Xavi wants to finish at the best position they can at least.

Maybe not mathematically but Atletico Madrid are also going to the Champions League obviously. Athletic Bilbao started to mess up earlier and that Atletico Madrid loss just ended their hopes. Still it is a great season for them with a Copa del Rey title.

Unfortunately Girona did not take advantage of this moment well, they had to accept defeat against Villarreal. If Girona can still win this match, they should still be in second place on the standings. It can be seen that Girona has tried hard to get a goal in this match. Girona repeatedly tried to shoot towards the Villarreal goal but still had difficulty penetrating Filip Jörgensen's defense. Girona still has two matches that will determine whether they can reclaim second place or not.

It saddens me how girona was losing against villareal. Girona has been performing very well. The stats showed that how girona totally owned the game against villareal. Madrid thrashed Alaves on the night they celebrated their La Liga trophy. It was an impressive performance with a big margin. They're not just at the top, but 17 points clear of second-placed Barcelona. Real Madrid is the most successful club in the world for a reason. If not for Real Madrid, where else could I find such excitement and happiness? Only Madrid match brings me so much joy. They are the kings of Spain and Europe, now aiming for their 15th UCL title. This is devastating for Girona. A huge disappointment. They may have finished second in the league, but they couldn't. I'll give them credit for trying, but effort doesn't always win, right? Girona's offence wowed. It was impossible to break Villarreal's defence. Like a fortification. Nobody was getting through. The issue is that without scoring, you can't win. Basic football.

This loss might be disastrous for Girona. Very terrible. People, only a few games remain, and they're losing time to catch up. The scenario is unfortunate for a talented team. They've showed they can play with the best, but consistency matters. They'll keep failing unless they find it out quickly. They must improve. As simple as that.

Girona has already achieved its goal. That's why we can say that they are comfortable. They will be one of the teams that will play in the Champions League next year in La Liga. That's why we can say that they didn't care about the last matches. Now the league is over and the main target is what position they will be in next year. I don't think we care much about these losses.

I think it depended on whether or not Ancelotti decides to let his best squad play and he did. He even decided to not give a break to Bellingham at all, he let him go full distance and I suspected he would do it because he doesn't want his best squad to not be playing at all until the Champions League final. But you can see that he chose this game and maybe next game, but I am pretty sure most of the players will get a full break on matchday 38.

I think it is the right approach although there is still a little risk for injuries, but highly competitive professionals need the game, they need practice to stay in shape. Putting them on the bench for three weeks to then hope that they can play their best has never convinced me when coaches did that in the past. But Ancelotti is a smart guy. He keeps them in shape and there you go, Bellingham contributed 1 goal and 2 assists. That's what a guy like him needs to feel fresh and focused.

Madrid boys have always had a good game for the team even though more than much is been  expected from them but for a game in a every competition, they always did really good. This only resonates the sermons of how well built up Real Madrid squad is. The young players are definitely an extra advantage to the team's strength.

 Ancelloti has been able to bring up his boys into more fury and it's exactly what they need to stay strong. There's good coordination and the zeal is always up for them. It's very much good that the team has been able to stay strong up until now and they seem undaunted too. It'll be more beautiful to watch these present Madrid perform at their peak even up till next season, the players are gaining good level of experience and it's working out good on them.

 I believe there's still a whole lot more to expect from the Spanish side next season. It just seems to me like they've got a balanced squad that's fit to bring down any team that may try to feel like giants. The retainment and addition to their squad list ahead of the coming season speaks a whole lot of danger zone ahead. Ancelloti is really moulding up a fearless and dreadful team and it's amazing how he's so much confident in the ability of his boys to deliver no matter the goal line.

In the last match Girona lost by Villarreal with a narrow score of 0-1 and at least, I was wrong to choose and also expect Girona to win in the home match. Because anyway, even though Girona played at home, Girona was also unable to score in the match. There are still two matches left for Girona and there are still three matches left for Barcelona but unfortunately, Barcelona will still play against a team like Sevilla and it will not be completely easy either. Like only the English League, we can still enjoy their afternoons until the last match of the season. The 1-0 defeat means that Girona has to drop to 3rd place in the La Liga standings, and this means that Barcelona automatically has a big chance of finishing in 2nd place until the season ends, especially since Barcelona's next opponent is Almeria, there is little chance that Barcelona will lose this match.

I was watching the match between Cadiz vs Sevilla, Cadiz played very hard, their position is in the relegation zone, this is very dangerous so Cadiz is definitely looking for victory in this match, but looking at their quality, it seems that Sevilla will win, with the possibility narrow score 1-0.

Why are the teams playing during the weekdays and weekends, like pushing the games together? Would it be way too hard to make the league end a week later and put all the games on the weekends? Feels like they mismanaged because at the end of the day they still have same amount of weeks as most other leagues and they didn't need to play during the weekdays.

If Xavi wants to succeed next season he has to change his tactics. His team has to be more daring, they have to be more direct, they have to create a lot of chances, and always be a threat to their opponents. Playing like that is good, but they have to keep pressing the opposition instead of just keeping them relaxed.

Another thing that's going to help Barcelona compete next season is how well they do in the transfer market. Real Madrid has a goal of winning the league back to back because they haven't done that since 2008, and we can see how well they're preparing, so if Barcelona wants to be able to compete with Real Madrid, they have to sign good players.

If Atletico Madrid beat Getafe today, their chances of getting past Girona will still remain alive. Atletico Madrid is in good form having won their last 3 matches. I think they will win today too. There's always opportunities for clubs to picked themselves up during down times but not every clubs possibly deliver themselves to the top. Girona, who are certain to qualify for the Champions League next season, must improve their performance if they don't want to be eliminated early. The defeat against Villarreal was a lesson for them to always maintain their performance in order to achieve positive results. This season has been passed perfectly even though its performance is still up and down, Girona must be more active in the transfer market to increase its strength next season in preparation for competition in the Champions League and maintain the opportunity to compete again in the top four.

Girona is having serious problems into their defense which needs to be fixed because now they are heading for big challenges, and they needed to be had things at the top level in last ten games we are having 4 defeats for them with 13 goals conceded which are most in top five spots with their attack is also not active as they were having in early half of this season which is another problem for them after their win against Barcelona this was expecting they are going to be at the second but suddenly in last two games they are having problematic end which create problems and now chances are nearly ended for them to end at the second spot.

Atlético Madrid is now having tough game against Getafe which can go either way but in case of win for them things could be on better way for them to have finished into top four without any serious trouble.
