I love how Lalliga is becoming competitive now,before,it used to be just Madrid and Barca giving the rest Lalliga teams long gap,but this season,it isn't like that,teams like Girona tried very well in the first half of the season,but when injury came,they started fumbling and dropping points,losing to teams they weren't supposed to lose to.

Indeed, how Girona develops this season is awesome. Although they are now at top three, but their performance so far really shows a big progress in this club. And regarding to injury, this always becomes enemy for all clubs, this is so sad to hear every time players getting injury during the match or training. But this is the risk. that is why Girona next season should be able to buy more talented players in order also to prepare the second players if anyt8ng bad happened,  if this is possible. But this will not be easy because they need bigger funds for that.

But we can't see Xavi is this list and this made the fans of Barcelona mad because his performance was not that bad compared to many other coaches.

I'm also  thinking, why Xavi is not in the list?

Ancelotti is definitely there because of his brilliant achievements with Madrid this season as well as for Michel and Valverde because in my opinion they deserve to be included especially for now Girona and Bilbao are playing very well but I don't understand why Simeone and Marcelino are there and not Xavi.

Even though I don't really like Barcelona but when it comes to objective assessment of coaches then of course Xavi still deserves to be there but it does seem like La Liga has its own assessment in this case and it is quite natural for Barcelona fans to ask this because I think this is quite questionable

Girona are not used to being under pressure, this is their first season competing in the top four of the standings, and I think Michel fleet can still be considered very lucky. Actually at the beginning of the season they weren't really terrible with their performance, they were able to achieve some level of good performance that they at some point were placed side by side Real Madrid but then after the el classico, they started experiencing decline after they failed to be able to defeat Madrid or even make the game a tough one rather it felt like an easy game for Madrid but later in the season they have been able to get back in form a d are now able to even manage to get to stay behind Madrid on the table.

Barcelona game vs Almeria is very important for catalans in order to establish domination on the second spot. The odds of Barcelona are quite high and that should not be a problem.
The other position that might be crucial is the UEFA Conference League spot where Real Sociedad and Real Betis are fighting for it.

It's how weak teams manage to become stubborn towards the tail end of the campaign and I must say I didn't expect the likes of Atletico Bilbao to beaten by Celta Vigo. Granted, they may be good at  upsets and all that but I didn't see this defeat coming especially as the visitors have a lot riding their performance today. Sitting at the fifth spot and on their way to Europa league, they would have made it for champions league had they not lost two and drawn two out of their last five games.
 Good job to Celta Vigo though as they worked tirelessly to get out of the drop zone and if they continue in this brilliant stride, they don't have to worry about being moved to division two.
A good way to win a game is to never give up even though you are down and it's this courage and determination that helped them win.

Girona still maintained the third position but they are not in a good position to hold the position. A win would have moved them to second position but this loss keeps them in third position five points above Atlético Madrid.

As you mentioned, Girona already secured a position for Champions League next season and ending second or third will not be that important for them. They showed high qualities more than expected and they have to maintain a performance similar to this in the next season.

I don't think they are being very serious again with their performance because watching the game against Villarreal yesterday Girona appeared to be too weak especially in the first half and when they finally conceded the goal they weren't pushing for attack to get an equalizer rather they remained calm until the final whistle, they lost so many opportunities this season i hope they get to do more better next season.

I saw the nominees for the award of the best Spanish La Liga manager of the season earlier today and if I must be sincere, I think I was more of confused than disappointed like other persons. I think Carlo Ancelotti will effortlessly win the award because of what he's been able to achieve with his Real Madrid team this season both in domestic competitions and in Europe but there's something I think isn't adding up about the nominees list. Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez's name was missing in the list but the name of fourth placed Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone was in the list. The truth is that Barcelona didn't win any major trophy this season but since Atletico Madrid manager was included in the list after not winning any major trophy with the club this season, I think it's a kind of cheating not to include Xavi Hernandez's name

I think Atletico Madrid didn't make a lot of attacks. They only made 7 total shots and there were 3 shots on target only. It means Griezmann converted all the shots on target be 3 goals. I'm surprised Griezmann has a great accuracy in this match. He could make a hattrick although he has very limited opportunities for scoring goals. It is very different when Griezmann played in Barcelona, he has a very bad accuracy there. I think Griezmann got a suitable training in Atletico Madrid. He becomes a great player again in Atletico Madrid.
