In my opinion, player costs do not reflect reality. A player from the English league is sold for over 100 million Euros just because he plays slightly above average, and it is a great nonsense to pay such astronomical prices. Such high amounts should not be paid. Some teams can rise above other teams by paying this, but the spirit of football is now left behind. Unfortunately, it is a time when money is power in football.
It’s agreeable that player cost doesn’t really reflect on all cases but, for a couple of players, you can’t deny how much they receive in respect to what they bring to the club and that’s not just the play on the pitch, the fans and deals that are associated, although they have a lot to benefit from that too. Leagues too do affect how much a player is valued.
Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Girona are the only opposing club that seems to be hurdles for Barcelona next season, perhaps La Liga is going to be really interesting and competitive. Barcelona new coach, Hansi Flick did better with Bayern Munich although things didn't end well for him. Moving to Barcelona means more opportunities for him and he's one of the sincere coaches that will live up to the expectations of the fans. Barcelona trusts him to deliver an excellent job for the club which I'm pretty sure he will without any atom of hesitation or doubt.
Barcelona has already established a long history of battle between them and Real Madrid which is understandable.
I think this should be in the reverse as it is, Teal Madrid is top dog in the Laliga, ain’t no team out there that could stop them but, I’ll like to see them try. Now they’ve got Mbappe, so many runners and skill on their side, the experience of Luka M, to guide them for yet another season, Real Madrid would be a terrifying team go head to head against next season.
