Real Madrid is currently not in good standing and cannot be reliable at this point. Barcelona was doing badly, the whole Las Palmas game looked terrible and that is something they were fearing. Now with Real losing this one, we are back to minimum of 1 point gap, I know that there is a 4 point gap, but Real played one less game so the gap could be anywhere between four to one, and that still means Barcelona will lead the league no matter what happens on that extra game.

If real won against Bilbao, then the gap would have been one, and then they would have a chance to go to the lead, that's a big deal. Barcelona is seen as a good team, real seen as terrible and not doing well and having troubles and many injuries and all that, but yet we are talking about potentially just one point difference, I do not think that teams have that much difference between them, they are looking pretty similar to each other.

Mbappe is starting to show a resemblance or ferran Torres in Barcelona  , he's missing alot of chance these days and it's costing the team theirgame, imagine that penalty had been a goal... at least that could have been a draw which isn't too bad . I think Mbappe has been like this in PSG as well but it wasn't this obvious because he got alot of chances which were all converged at him, I don't know about penalties but I watched the replay almost 10 times , he was so predictable imo.
Thus, I will also agree with your statement, as long as Vini is still out Mbappe will continue to play unless they find a perfect replacement , probably they can try risking that to see the result

Although I'm disappointed with the missed penalty, I wouldn't say he was the overall cause of Madrid dropping points in this game and I don't think it's a good thing to compare the performance of a player who's been in a difficult time at Madrid with another player.

He's still very young and he's been charged from the start with huge expectations to keep Madrid in their prime. But of course this is not easy and now he just needs full support in order to correct his mistakes and performance so that it is not like now.
