Atletico Madrid didn't put their best effort in the game , maybe they thought they can easily get advantage of Elche,  a weak club that have not been able to win their games, but the game was different and unexpected.  No one ever saw thus coming  that elche  will beat Atletico Madrid,  so unbelievable.

I followed the Barcelona vs Espanyol match from the beginning to the ending and the Barcelona guys played excellently well.
I congratulate Xavi for turning Barcelona back to an elite club. They were already sinking and clouded in depth when the Nou camp legend accepted the job. Today, I owe him a very big congratulations for winning the title while there are about 4 matches to end the season.

I would start by congratulating the entire players, manager and the whole backroom staff of Barcelona for winning the Spanish La Liga title once again. It's been a very memorable season for them especially their manager Xavi Hernandez who's just won his first league title in a European country.
But talking about the number goals difference between Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema and how you think the later can't catch up with the former, I'll suggest you have a rethink of your thoughts because Benzema we all know can score 5 or 6 goals in two matches and claim the golden boot

Atletico Madrid came with all their squad and they lost to Real Madrid that has to lay low some of their key players against the Champions League and they failed to exploit that opportunity from Real Madrid. However, despite the race, Real Madrid is not that far from Atletico, they are only two points ahead of Atletico, any single mistake will change the table in favor of Atletico, the only reason why I think Real Madrid wouldn't be concerned about the rest of the season is that they will finish among the top 4 because Real Sociedad has to win 3 matches to come close to Real Madrid and they have just 4 remaining matches, they can't go to Champions League with Real Madrid.

Barcelona played much more dominant than I expected. It was a Catalan derby match and Espanyol were in a competition to not relegate from the league at the same time. Besides they had a good history against Barcelona in home matches as well. But still none of these changed something in this match. Barcelona completely dominated the first half and finish them off by 3-0 already.

The second half was also in control for Barcelona. They became a little complacent in defense after scoring the 4th goal which resulted in Espanyol's finding 2 goals by counter-attacks. But still it didn't change anything of course.

Congrats to Barcelona on their title! They totally deserved it.

Yes I see it, Real Madrid becomes on their second position as runner up. Real Madrid have an advantage from the loss of Atletico Madrid, and they also have 2 points above Atletico. It's wrong my friend. La liga was not the first title. It's the second title acquired by barcelona this season. The first title is about super cup when barcelona won against real madrid with 3-1 as the final scores.
