I agree that Kylian Mbappe is a suitable replacement for Benzema at Real Madrid. Both strikers come from France and both have the skills to be the main strikers at such a big club, but Real Madrid have not signed for Mbappe so far.

Real Madrid seems very patient to wait for Mbappe to arrive on a free transfer from PSG after the 2023-2024 season ends, but I don't think that is very realistic to expect. It's true, as you said, only Mbappe is suitable to replace Benzema. But to be honest, I'm so sick of Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid. Madrid doesn't have a convincing defense and midfield. Although they added Bellingham to their squad, the midfield is still not convincing to me. There is not much creativity in the midfield. Modric is the only creative midfielder they have and he's old. They need young vibrant creative midfielders that can play ball. Midfielders that can dribble through the defense, and give passes that break defense. The midfield of Camavinga Bellingham Valverde and Tchouameni can't do that. As things stand Vinicius is the only creative and consistent player in Madrid.
So that saying the addition of Mbappe will make Madrid better than Man City is not true.
