I wouldn't compare Lewandowski to Haaland anymore. Those times when Lewandowski was the craziest goal machine in Europe are over. He is not a player who is going to break any records in Spain whereas Haaland is set to pulverize whatever records there are left both in the Premier League and in the Champions League.

This is Barcelona's first win of the season at the start of the season, they were winless in Round 1 and were drawn but yesterday's match was a resounding 2-0 win. The Cadiz team is not as strong as Barcelona but they played well at Barcelona's home ground. On the other hand we have seen Real Madrid topping the table points in La Liga as they have won their two matches in the beginning of the season with impressive results to take the first place in the table points. However, if the players can play well in the next matches of Barcelona, it is definitely possible to reach the top of the points table.

Barcelona looked struggling to win the match, Xavi squad was only able to score a goal in the 81st minute. Statistically, Barca could win possession, but their line of attack looked so dull. On the other hand Barca's several chances were saved by the Cadiz goalkeeper and their defense looked very solid.

So far only Real Madrid and Valencia have managed to collect perfect points and top the La Liga standings. Looks like Barca will have trouble defending the championship trophy this season.

I agree with you that at some point it didn't make sense to put everything they have into still winning La Liga and instead focus on the Champions League, but their timing was a bit rude towards their fans I think.

Everyone understands that in some situations there is no point in pursuing the title when the hardest opponent is miles away in the table, but Real Madrid gave up many games before the season ended. You were correct about seeing a few more goals because the score is 4-2 now. However Alaves are the winning team now by this score. It has been a pretty interesting game so far. I thought that Sevilla would do something better this time after starting the season with a loss home. But now they are just making things worse for them.
