It was a great joy for me to watch the Villarreal - Barcelona game today. There were insane comebacks which led Barcelona to win by an absurd score like 4-3. But I must really appreciate especially Villarreal's unbelievable comeback from 0-2 to 3-2. You are doing this against one of the biggest favourites of the title in the end.

Villarreal did everything they could but it was still not enough to resist Barcelona. Once again they couldn't beat Barcelona home. By scoring this many goals I think Barcelona will regain their usual performance faster. It was nice to see Lewandowski scoring his first goal too.

I admit that Barcelona's defense in this match was really unsatisfactory, but the performance of their attackers and midfielders was good enough that it helped them win the match. The fact that Barcelona won seems to be cool and 3 points is 3 points, but given the previous two games, I would say that this is another sign of weakness (if we are talking about the fight for the title). And with such a game (both in attack and defense), one should not count on any success in Eurocups. Maybe Xavi will be able to even out the situation, but globally I expect a repeat of previous seasons - instability that will not always end as well as today.

That's correct, the "three points is three points" talk might be true for La Liga, but when this is against the best European teams in the Champions League, I don't think that Barcelona has a realistic chance to make it to the semifinal. Maybe the quarterfinals could be possible, but the last season was a good example of what you just explained. A team like Inter Milan punishes this and doesn't lose the game like Villareal did. Both games against Cadiz and Getafe have already had some warning signals. Having one close game against an inferior team is normal, but these three games taken together aren't very promising so far.

That's what said in last couple matches of Barcelona, there are many solutions now in Barcelona's house in attack even with the bad performance from Lewandowski the beginning of this season not like previous one. Today we saw Barcelona that really needs a lot of work if they want to keep LaLiga trophy for this season or at least take a good position. Real Madrid could take the advantage from the first match Barcelona drawing, but they are also in the other hand didn't perform well and won all their matches hardly.

Fortunately that won't be the case for long and now Ancelotti will have to find a way to ensure that when Vini isn't playing they still have options to keep their attack going.

Drama 7 goals is really interesting to watch
I enjoyed this match because it was one of the most watchable matches of the week.
Barcelona still have problems in their defence especially when they get counter-attacked as the players fail to get back but what I like is that their goal productivity is also back. After 2 weeks of poor finishing in this match they seemed to be back to the Barcelona that always scores a lot of goals but there are still some things that need to be fixed by Xavi.

The game is entering a crucial time now and it's going to be very bad if Sevilla still can't find the back of the net. I liked how Sevilla increased their attacking intensity in the second half, but it looks like the result will remain the same as their problem is not their attacking intensity, but their poor finishing.

Even though they had equalized in the first half, but again had to bow in the second half. They really need a better player, at least one that can be really accurate. How could it not? They made lots of attempted attacks, but always failed. Even they have several chances, but they are not able to optimize it. Their loss to Girona 1 - 2 was so bad. Sevilla let this happen. This is the third time losing in the first 3 matches. What an irony, they haven't changed at all like at the start of last season either.

Regarding Lamine Yamal, this young man really appeared amazing. Two of his kicks hit the goal post, but one of them was used by Lewandowski. He also recorded 1 assist for Gavi's goal, so he deserves to be MOTM in this match.

Real Madrid did the best they could do in the last transfer window even though their may not have been the club that spent the highest money in signing new players but then also the club did not let go too much of their players since they had already invested a lot of money on those players in the previous season and this has reflected in the result Real Madrid recorded in the last two seasons.

I don't believe Madrid did all they could in the transfer window. They have a lot of loopholes in their squad. Let's not get carried away by the early victories. They need wingers, they need a striker.
Madrid has scored 6 goals this season, 4 have been by Bellingham who is a midfielder. As much as that is good news for Bellingham, it should be worrying for Madrid. What are their attackers doing? Sooner or later Bellingham won't be able to score as much as he's scoring now, what would happen then?

I don't know how long the Vinicius injury is, but it better not be serious because Madrid will be in serious trouble if he's out for a long time.

The problem with Barcelona's defense is two things. One is Aruajo's injury and the second is a right back. If they had a right back, somebody like Cancelo, he would play the RB position while Kounde and Christensen okay the CB. Or Cancelo can play the LB when Balde is injured, Kounde plays the RB, and Eric and Christensen play the CB. Inigo Martinez is still out injured, they will need him back ASAP since Araujo is injured.

Lewandoski might be a problem for Barcelona if he doesn't pick up his form. He needs to start scoring the chances he gets. Barcelona creates a lot of chances and with an in-form clinical striker, Barcelona should have been at least 3 goals up before Villarreal got there first.
I guess they have to manage till January when Vito Roque arrives or Ferran Torres is going to step up

After Barcelona went up to two goals ahead through early goals from Gavi and Frenkie De Jong in the first half of their Spanish La Liga match away at Villareal, I thought they were gonna destroy the home side in the match but Villareal's Juan Foyth and Alexander Sorloth had another plan as the score two goals before the end of half time to bring the game to stalemate.
Villarreal started the second half in from foot and were rewarded with a goal to go 3 - 2 up before the away team came from behind to snatch a win. It was indeed and entertaining thriller to watch by neutrals but must have been very nervous to fans of both clubs

Barcelona are getting tougher in their strength after finishing this fight with a win. Even lewandowksi, who in the previous match had difficulty scoring goals, but in this match he managed to score his first goal of the season. Maybe no one saw how good De Jong game was in this match. He was able to control the Barcelona midfield quite well and Gundogan also appeared stunning in this match.

This victory at the same time made Barcelona maintain their pace with Real Madrid on the standings because the two are 2 points apart for the time being. Realmadrid had to get a replacement for Courtois when he got injured and might be forced to get another player on loan since Vinicius Jnr injury seems serious and could last for a long term, despite Ancelotti making a statement previously that there would be no new signings info the club, I think they'll have to retrace that statement and sign one more player, since the transfer window is still open for some few days, they can't keep relying on Jude Bellingham because they'll need more backup and he could get injured on the long run making the team left out with no reliable goal scorer since he's the current goal getter of the team.
 
 As for Lewandowski he's been so unimpressive since he arrived Barcelona, I expected him to come to the team with the form he had at Bayern Munich but I've not been impressed so far because he's not regularly getting the goals and that could be a problem for Barcelona this season, if his form drops more when the tournament gets tougher they could be forced to loan him out to another club.

barcelona vs villareal was a very tense match, villareal almost managed to win if torres did not score in the 68th minute and lewandowski in the 71st minute, since the beginning of this season, i see that Lewandowski's performance is starting to decline, he is not as sharp as last season ^{(maybe it's still early)}, barcelona is still in 3rd position with 7 points while madrid is still at the top with 9 points.

Tomorrow there will also be an exciting match, between Atletico Madrid vs Rayo, after being held to a 0-0 draw by Real Betis at the opening of the match, Atletico can only be in 8th place, they must win in this match against Rayo if they want to get into the top 5.

Barcelona managed to bring home three points from the Villarreal Headquarters in a dramatic way, Barcelona, which had a 0-2 lead over Villarreal, was surprised by 3 goals scored by Villarreal players into the goal escorted by Ter Stegen which made the score turn 3-2. The fighting spirit of the Barcelona players who never subsided made them able to turn the score around to 3-4 as well as being the final score in this match.

There are several interesting notes from Barcelona success in winning its second win this season, Lamine Yamal, although he didn't score, became the star of the field this time. It was a shock, I started to panic when the score was 2-2 and when Barcelona were 3-2 down I thought there was no hope for them to turn things around but what I thought was wrong, this game was absolutely incredible, both teams made a comeback, Villarreal able to turn things around when they lost 2 goals but before the match ended Barcelona again turned things around to 4-3.
The match was quite fierce, but I highlighted Barcelona's performance in this match who were careless in the middle of the first half, they seemed to have lost their direction of play and their back line was not working well.
Even though they won, this was not a good performance from Barcelona.

There are always no underdogs who have played quite well at the start of the season, this season it's Girona, but I'm not so sure that they will be consistent.
