It was a shock, I started to panic when the score was 2-2 and when Barcelona were 3-2 down I thought there was no hope for them to turn things around but what I thought was wrong, this game was absolutely incredible, both teams made a comeback, Villarreal able to turn things around when they lost 2 goals but before the match ended Barcelona again turned things around to 4-3.
The match was quite fierce, but I highlighted Barcelona's performance in this match who were careless in the middle of the first half, they seemed to have lost their direction of play and their back line was not working well.
Even though they won, this was not a good performance from Barcelona.

If we examine the performance of Barcelona's back line, I don't understand why Xavi played Marco Alonso as a defender on the left wing. whereas, Xavi could have prepared Balde to be deployed in the match against Villarreal. maybe that's why, Cristensen played underperform, because he did not fit with Alonso. but in the second half, Alonso found his rhythm especially after Cristensen was substituted. at right-back, Sergi Roberto played very underperformed. which in the end, there is buying and selling goals in this match.

Uniquely, Barcelona took the lead quickly in the 12th minute and three minutes later, De Jong added the advantage to 0-2. 11 minutes later, Villarral was able to pull back a goal to reduce the position. in the 40th minute, Villarreal were able to equalize at 2-2. until halftime, the game took place again exciting. both teams scored again, fortunately Lewandowski broke the deadlock and was able to decide their victory over Villarreal. With this result, Barcelona rose to 3rd place on the standings.
however, Xavi has homework to improve his defense. the absence of several important players who were injured meant that there wasn't much that could be done, but Xavi should be able to fix it for future matches. maybe if Cancelo is successfully brought to Camp Nou, at the end of this transfer window, Xavi has quite a strong back line depth.

It was a great joy for me to watch the Villarreal - Barcelona game today. There were insane comebacks which led Barcelona to win by an absurd score like 4-3. But I must really appreciate especially Villarreal's unbelievable comeback from 0-2 to 3-2. You are doing this against one of the biggest favourites of the title in the end.

Villarreal did everything they could but it was still not enough to resist Barcelona. Once again they couldn't beat Barcelona home. By scoring this many goals I think Barcelona will regain their usual performance faster. It was nice to see Lewandowski scoring his first goal too.

Barcelona youth setup has always been amazing. They always manage to grow really skilled players from there. I think Yamal is one of those players. He has a good talent at this young age. He should play as much as possible to improve his skills much more. Dembele's departure is really helping him now.

Xavi can have him in the starting lineup in the coming games as well after watching his effective football. He was nearly scoring a goal in this game as well.

Barcelona currently lead 4-3. However, the weaknesses of Barcelona's defense are well understood in this match. Xavi definitely needs to work more on Barcelona's defence.

The first half ended 2-2. Villarreal took a 3-2 lead early in the second half thanks to Alex Baena's goal. Villarreal are playing well enough. I admit that Barcelona's defense in this match was really unsatisfactory, but the performance of their attackers and midfielders was good enough that it helped them win the match. Gavi, De Jong, Ferran and Lewandowski scored one goal each, but of course I didn't really expect Barcelona to concede 3 goals. Xavi needs to make strategic changes in the next match so that his team can play better in defense. Lamine Yamal, who appeared slick, managed to become MVP in this match, of course he became a new gem in the Barcelona squad.
In the end these are the 3 points that really made Barcelona work hard. But overall I think Barcelona did pretty well in the build up despite some of their finishing not being great.

Every player in Barcelona's attack and midfield performed well in this match. They played well. Otherwise four goals against Villarreal would not have been possible. In particular I want to talk about Torres. Excellent performance by this young Barcelona striker.Pedri missed the match due to injury. Barcelona might have been able to perform better if Pedri was with the squad. Barcelona's overall performance was very good so they won. However, Barcelona's defense needs to be strengthened. Barcelona's match strategy is quite good. This team has the potential to do well in the Champions League as well if the performance of the team's players is consistent.

It has been the culture of Barcelona, signing young and talented prospects and developing them into world class players, and so far it's worked perfectly for them,  Barcelona really needed to offload Dembele for other rising star to shine, though Dembele is a very talented player and a lot was expected of him at Barcelona when he arrived at Barcelona from Dortmund but his playing time at Barca was limited due to his reoccurring injury spells, and so far the player that's benefitted from his departure is Yamal, because he's getting playing time and it  would built his confidence level and help him develop into a top class as expected by Barcelona.
 The team looks good and balanced I think what they need currently is Lewandowski to get back to his full potential and start helping them to score goals and compete better against their top rivals this season.

I didn't anticipate such a tough time against Villarreal. It was a real battle; what's up with their defense? Barcelona seriously needs to address their defensive issues. If they keep playing like this, we're not going to achieve much. That was a narrow win, but they can perform better than this. Something they still need to improve on, yes it's their defense. I wouldn't say they were lucky in this game, because their offense is good, but they can't keep conceding so much. It should be noted here that Barcelona did not fall apart after three consecutive goals conceded and were able to come together and win, which only added to the beauty of the match. Barcelona played great on offense, but the defense is certainly not champion. The champion should not concede such goals and it is good that Barça has talents like Gavi, De Jong and Ferran Torres and it looks like Xavi is uncovering another very young talent in the form of Lamine Yamal, who broke Ansu Fati's record and became the youngest assist writer in La Liga.

Why praising Barcelona for coming from behind to score two unreplied goals that helped them beat Villareal yesterday in the Spanish La Liga match away at Villareal, we should also talk about how they trailed behind in a game they were two goals up in the early stages of the first half.
The Barcelona defense needs to improve from what we saw yesterday or be ready to concede numerous number of goals when they face clubs with higher attacking force than that of Villareal. Xavi Hernandez for a fact is doing well but improve his team's defence

Thats right, Barcelona really has some very young players and they are also worth a lot of money. Until now, Barcelona tanke 4 players from the youth in the first team, only one new transfer Oriol Romeu for 3.4 million euros. Maybe because Barcelona has a lot of debt. They have sold several players and there are came 100 million euros together. Yamal is 16 years, Balde 19, Ansu Fati 20, Gavi 19 and Pedri 20. Together they are worth 300 million euros.

Alot of players are dreaming of moving over to Barcelona but the issue on ground is the financial crisis in the club that's restricting them from signing those players Barca really needs a good winning back this season to help strengthen that area and they've been in talks with Cancelo but they're finding it difficult to meet up to Mancity's demand however Cancelo would make a very good signing to their squad if they finally succeed in getting him this season.
 I think it's too early to leave Barca out of winning their league because season they were not really all impressive but they managed to win the league and it's still possible for Barcelona to still win the league this season though it might not be very possible because Realmadrid looks very tough and are currently leading the table with the inclusion of a good signing in person of Jude Bellingham that's so brilliant so far.

Well and you're not the only ones who feel sure that barcelona will win the match after scoring two quick goals by Gavi and De Jong in the 12th and 15th minutes. Because we all seem to have pretty much the same thoughts on this. And of course I think what took us all by surprise from this game is because we never expected that Villarreal would be able to equalize in the first half. And yes you are right that another surprising thing was when Villarreal scored the 3rd goal in the 50th minute by Alex Baena. And the real tension does start from this point. But fortunately Barcelona was able to turn things around again and win. I'm pretty sure everyone here betting on Barcelona must have felt the same anxiety when Villarreal scored the 3rd goal.

Yes I think going well into the season with two clean sheets as Rayo Vallecno is a remarkable start for them, but they are still one win away from a dream start I think.

Beating Almeria and Granada is good already, but now they are up against one of the three strongest teams in La Liga and those are the games when they can also win some big points that not only are important for the standings in the table, but also can significantly boost their confidence for the games to come. When they are able to beat Atletico Madrid and even play that game on their level, it is also a sign that they don't have to be afraid of any other opponent.

Although I think that Atletico isn't quite on the level of Real Madrid and Barcelona. By the end of September we will have the first big La Liga game when Atletico plays at home against Real Madrid.

However Rayo have been very good with the previous two wins and even if they lose against Atletico I don't think it will change the results they have had so far. I think Atletico are still too strong for Rayo and I have quite a doubt that Rayo can win at home even though Atletico are the opponents. What is clear is that I don't want to bet on this match because anything can still happen and the possible outcome of the match is also not what I predicted. But I'm quite the favorite for Atletico to win even though Koke must be absent due to injury because after all they have to get 3 additional points to catch the gap at the top of the standings.
