After Sergio Busquets leave Barcelona last season Xavi has decide to make Sergi Roberto as new captain but unfortunately it only last one season because Sergi Roberto will leave Barcelona with free transfer status however indeed i can understand why Hansi Flick has decide will not putting Sergi Roberto into his plan with Barcelona because we all know Sergi Roberto is injured prone and since 2021 Sergi Roberto was unable to playing regularly with Barcelona and about the candidates of new captain it says Hansi Flick has 3 options Ilkay Gundogan, Marc-André ter Stegen and Ronald Araujo and i personally more prefer to choose Marc-André ter Stegen because he is senior player with Barcelona and since 2014 ter Stegen always be playing regularly with this team and his performance also quite consistent
