That goes too far in my opinion. Barcelona has had some difficult times, had no chance against Real Madrid last season and got destroyed against PSG in the second leg in the quarterfinals. If they were to play 10 games against Manchester City, I don't it would be a balanced result in the end. I still Manchester City being ahead of Barcelona by quite a bit. Lewandowski is quite old, but he did actually have a great early season. But will he stay in shape and will Barcelona be able to maintain that level?

Yamal is not Messi, but he is a great player with a great future ahead of him. The only thing that Barcelona is in a great position is the fact that they can distribute the burden of scoring goals and giving assets on a number of shoulders whereas Man City is quite dependent on Haaland.

Football is no longer played by history or past glory so I suggest you follow the current performance of a team this season before thinking that some other teams can not defeat them because of their past history. This is a derby and both teams have a chance to win. Real Madrid drew two unexpected matches at the beginning of the season.
