I still don't know how Girona are going to manage in the champions league with these kind of awful display we have seen, I feel they're not suppose to be in the champions league to start with. Well Girona are not match for Barcelona this very season and if they have to meet again I think it would be worse than what we saw for the wonder boys team Girona.

I expected Barcelona to score more than two goals in the second half because Girona was unable to handle their pressure, they were lucky to score one goal to end the match 1:4. Girona will pay for the damage they caused last season, as they defeated Barcelona 4:2 in both home and away games. Girona believes the same thing will happen this season, Girona will struggle in the second game with Barcelona because they are playing in the Champions League, and with their current form, I don't think they will have enough strength to perform well in the league this season.

Barcelona have become a lion this season with the way there fire every of their opponents, I was surprised that way they dominate the entire game yesterday against Girona, they give Girona a tough closing marking and also received three yellow cards joined, that’s why their pressure was so much high in that match last season is Girona that the first team that occupied the first position but this season they unable to even reach up the fifth position.

But nevertheless, that’s all about football the last season was favor Girona even though they later draw down form the table,so in this case we should never give Barcelona full hope that they can able to maintain their consistent to remain in top Standard, because their only ahead of Real Madrid with just four points.

This team looks unstoppable, and every single player is stepping up with great chemistry. If they keep playing like this, more trophies are definitely on the way! however Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Villarreal are also unbeaten in La Liga this season, despite having two draws each. Nothing lasts forever, but I'll be thrilled if Barcelona wins La Liga. This Barcelona team can now compete for titles. Last season, Girona was a team to fear and this season it seems they also started on a good note but it's unfortunate that things fell apart for them during their match against Barcelona. I don't know whether to called it a fail for the Girona side or an improvement for the Barcelona side. Whichever be the case, I think Girona needs to step up their game.

In the other side, it seems that Barcelona is stable under their new coach and I also heard they are making moves to buy the German young superstar Musiala.

At first I actually had a little doubt about Barcelona under Hansi Flick's coaching. I don't think Barcelona choose between Nico and Olmo. They wanted to sign both of them but only Olmo was successful because Nico decided to remain at Bilboa for almost a season. The problem with Olmo has never been his qualities. Everybody knew Olmo was good, the problem has always been his injury problems. He gets injured way too often. As you can see he has already gotten injured after just 3 matches for Barcelona. He's out for 4-5 weeks due to a hamstring injury. Let's hope he comes back with the same form and doesn't get injured again because the season is getting to the intensive part. 

I think Barcelona will still try to sign Nico Willanms next season and by that time he's value might have dropped a little bit but I don't want them to go for him again. They can try and make Kvaratskhelia their main target in that position. I believe he fits into the Flicks system more than Nico. Since they have Raphina who can play as a 10, LW and RW, adding VKvaratskhelia will be very good for the team.

Ronaldo or Suarez who could go into a new club signing and make significant impacts immediately.

Moreover, Real Madrid haven't lost too many points, they're still holding on until their team is back to form, and who knows what happens to Barca before then? Injuries have no warning bell, neither does it take sides. Finally, a league is like a marathon race, you do not judge the winner at the very first beginning of the race.

Of course, you are right that the season is still very young for conclusions on who will win the league but most times, the club that wins the league always start with a winning streak and that gives them better chamce of having the highest points in the beginning which if theor consistent with their matches, it might end up giving them more points than other teams.

Last season that Real Madrid won the league, they started by winning most of their matches which boosted their points a lot and that was when Barcelona was having problems and were losing their matches before Xavi brought back the team performance to normal. I am not saying that Barcelona will win the league but don't you think that it will be a big challenge for Real Madrid to win the league due to what they are facing and Barcelona is having an easy win in all their matches. This was how tgey started last two seasons that led to them winning the league.

Yeah it was necessary. I recommend you to watch the incident again.    Torres is clearly stepping on his opponent's foot and ankle both. It is a dangerous action that might have injured him.


After leaving 5 weeks behind, Barcelona are the only team with 5 wins in 5 matches. Such an impressive performance!    17 goals scored and 4 goals conceded. Maybe the defense isn't in the best shape yet but at least they don't concede more than one goal in a game. When it comes to scoring productivity, they are the best by far.

Girona didn't qualify to play in the UEFA Champions League by luck or chance rather they earned it by finishing in the top four of the Spanish La Liga table last season. Saying that you feel they're not supposed to play in the competition is disrespectful to the club and a total neglect to their hard work of last season.
Girona for a truth haven't been as impressive as many would've wanted to be since the start of the season but that necessarily do not mean that they'll not do well in the UCL competition. Despite the poor start to the season, Girona might end up having a good outing in Europe.

Barcelona has been very strong this season and they are winning matches with their best performances in every match.

After Barcelona's convincing win at Girona yesterday, someone told me that "Barcelona this season have been what we thought Real Madrid would be". As a Real Madrid fan, there's way no way I could agree more to that statement because Barcelona have been almost perfect since the start of the season. Real Madrid who we initially thought will dominate the Spanish La Liga from the beginning have to sit up if they really want to retain the league title or risk losing it to the current league leaders

There is no doubt that Barcelona have really improved under Hansi Flick, not caring about Girona who last season  were Real Madrid's competitors at the top of La Liga because anyway, this season is clearly a new chapter. After all, Real Madrid had good results last season and also had impressive transfers after signing Mbappe, but the reality is that Real Madrid are not as good as Barcelona so far this season. In addition, if you realize last season the fact that Girona managed to beat Barcelona in the two matches played in La Liga last season with a score of 2-4 and 4-2, but at this moment Barcelona really managed to destroy Girona at Estadio Municipal de Montilivi.

If we look at the two players both Nico Williams and Dani Olmo will be a good addition but due to the constraints in the club’s finance they went for Olmo who to me is a better option than Nico Williams, with Dani Olmo you have a utility player who can actually give lots of things like playing in numerous positions that the club lacks players than the other Spanish player, in terms of experience he is also more experienced than Nico Williams, so it is a good transfer.

As for the choose between Kvaratskhelia and Nico Williams I will go for the latter as he fits perfectly into the team than Kvaratskhelia. Nico Williams experience in playing in Laliga already gives him an edge if you ask me. He will also be less expensive than Kvaratskhelia who Napoli rate very high

Ohh really! If truly that was really intentional then it would have led to the player injury with that kind of stepping, that was what really made me to comment about it that it wasn't suppose to be a Red a yellow would have been better... I don't expect everyone to see it that way though bit it's what I feel should have been the right thing there(a Yellow and not a red  ).

It's not a really a discovery to  me, it's just a proper management... the skills and resources has always been available it's just require a proper management and that was Hansi Flick, the performance really changed tbh even without a full team

Ancelotti is right, of course they didn't "deserve" to win, they just got lucky, one of the penalties were just a handball and could have been considered natural position but that is not the point, Sociedad had about 4 or so shots that came back from the post and I still think that they are super lucky to have what they have, it looks like they are really looking like they just got lucky all game long and nothing more if you ask me.

I think it's clear that we are not going to see Real Madrid be dominated like this from a team like that for anytime that easily, it's definitely a lucky game for Sociedad to play that well against a team like Real Madrid as well. I agree that most of these happened because of the injuries and we are going to end up seeing them do a lot better in the future. We should remember that we are going to end up getting greater results and shouldn't really have any issues at all, we should be considering Real getting better when players return.
