Seeing Real Madrid's improved performance in some matches, I predicted without a doubt that they would win this match, and I didn't even hesitate to bet on that match. In fact, many people are very willing to bet on big teams, but those teams can't suddenly win the match. Similarly, Real Madrid could not win yesterday's match, but it can be said without a doubt that they played very well in that match.

The most surprising thing about this match was that Real Madrid attacked a lot and they tried to score a lot of goals but they couldn't do it properly. It's unfortunate for both Madrid and the gamblers. If care is not taken, it will cost Madrid dearly if they continue to drop point unnecessarily at this stage. It's funny how Ancelotti was bragging at the beginning of season for having quality players and now he can't make anything good out of them. Real Madrid's defeat against Espanyol actually made the La Liga competition even tighter because Atletico Madrid managed to win which made the points gap with Real Madrid 1 point behind.
Barcelona will play against Deportivo Alaves. I would assume Barcelona will win. We can imagine how tight La Liga is.

Real Madrid performance is dissapointing because during the match their players got plenty of opportunities to scores but unfortunately none of those opportunities can became an goal and they were lost yesterday but this is football which sometimes the result is not we were expected because i am sure majority people will considers this is easy match for Real Madrid but in fact Real Madrid have to received bitter result and lost from Espanyol besides that the situation for Real Madrid are getting worse after Rudiger got the injury and if he absense i think it will be huge lost for Real Madrid and Ancelotti don't have much option anymore for defender players

This week must be the most entertaining one for Barcelona. Because Real Madrid lost 3 points very unexpectedly. Who would have thought Espanyol would manage to win by scoring a single goal?    Actually Real Madrid tried really hard but the finishing was terrible... Mbappe didn't also have a good day. But he was unlucky at the same time that Espanyol goalkeeper was like the man of the match.    Especially one of his saves was incredible.

Atletico Madrid won though but still it is a good opportunity for Barcelona to get closer to the top. Today they host Alaves. Nothing different than a comfortable win is acceptable honestly. That was a great show against Valencia the last time as you would remember.

This defeat was very unexpected, but as we see, not only Barcelona is capable of losing games in which they attack the entire match and make a huge number of shots at the opponents' goal. Espanyol Vs Real Madrid 0 - 0 HT, what a boring half I really can't say if there's a highlight in this game so far. Real Madrid are so relaxed in the game that they hardly pushed attack despite the opponent sitting back in their own half. Although Real Madrid would have been a goal up from Vini wonderful curl into the bottom corner, but Mbappe happened to foul a defender before the strike, so the goal was chopped off.
Sincerely, I hope nothing really happened to Rudiger as he was taken off and replaced by Asencio in the 15 minute of play. Lets see how the second half goes, if Real Madrid will respond and act like the champions they are in this game.

It was really unexpected performance from the Real Madrid team on first half, although they have the most match position in this match and as well they were playing aggressive but something is missing on their performance.
I thought against Espanyol, Real Madrid  attackers will played smooth roll but they only meet on short on target what is also done by Espanyol. If you look at the head-to-head stats, roughly every last 4 years Real have lost away to Espanyol... Of course yesterday Real should have taken 3 points to make a gap from Atletico, but for now they are still in first place in the standings... The main thing that such mistakes were not in the next games... Perhaps this shows that it's hard for Real to play in several competitions now...

It is very shameful for Real Madrid they lost this match against Espanyol which is in 18th position in the league table, I was very disappointed with this performance because some Real Madrid key players did not play well, players like Vinicius and Bellingham did not perform well yesterday, the only players that perform well yesterday is Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Courtios, I was doubting Atletico Madrid that they can not defeat Mallorca easy and Atletico Madrid easily win their match without no any stress.

In the Real Madrid match yesterday there were many errors in the match and I think La Liga needs to find a solution to the mistake from the referee, a player who scored a goal for Espanyol was supposed to be sent out for the tackle he gave Mbappe from behind and the referee pretend like he did not see anything wrong with the tackle, Real Madrid needs to take the matter serious to show those referee their work, I believe if it was Premier League the player will be sent out immediately after that tackle.

Before the match started, we all thought that Madrid would win easily in the match because the opponent they faced was only a team in the relegation zone, even for a draw in the match we all don't think of it because of the fact that Madrid was actually superior to Espanyol on every front, but what we saw was that they had to succumb to a weak team even though every point is currently very crucial for Madrid,  In my opinion, the loss of Rudiger has changed Madrid's game pattern which is actually their defense is starting to be easy to be exploited by Espanyol, especially from the counterattack scheme, Madrid managed to dominate the game but the solid defense built by Espanyol actually made Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo lose their sharpness in the match, the defeat from Espanyol began to make Madrid position at the top  the standings threatened at the moment,Especially after Atletico Madrid in another match managed to win over Mallorca and made the Madrid and atletico madrid only 1 point apart now.

Maybe Real Madrid has their sights on the champions league play-off already, and that might have made them to underrate Espanyol. And judging by Espanyol performances this season, you can hardly believe that they could bite Madrid this hard. Maybe Espanyol had already understood that Madrid are underating them, and they came out well prepared and stunned them. That's why it's not good to underarte a team, no matter how small they might appear. The loss of Rudiger shouldn't make the team collapse over night, that they couldn't get even a draw against Espanyol. Honestly I'm among those that never thought Espanyol could win Real Madrid.

 How can a team win comfortably in the champions League, in mid week, come here and crumbled. Like it doesn't make any sense. The best explanation is just that their sight are already in their match against Manchester city. Madrid always behaves as if, without the champions League trophy they are nothing.

Yea no doubt Real Madrid is still at the top of the league standings, the gap between them and the second position occupiers is just 1 point though Real Madrid that I know is not going to allow any funny thing to happen, having said that, I wasn't expecting Espanyol to win Realmadrid on a 1:0 victory, though no team should be underrated when it comes to the game of soccer, Realmadrid conquered the overall match but was unable to score juat 1 goal to put them in clear upfront in the league table though shit happens but allowing it to happen again would be a joke taken too far.
Realistically the league has reach to the extent that any team that allows any form of lapses will be overtaken so Realmadrid should buckle up in other to keep maintaining the first position.

Seriously if you watched the game you would know what I'm talking about. The first half was even worse, Real Madrid got there first shot on target in almost 40 minutes through Jude, it wasn't even a shot, more like a weak volley that the keeper just grabbed. It was in the second half that it seemed as if Real Madrid were serious. Espanyol dealt with Madrid defensively.

Yesterday,we saw match between Real Madrid football team and Brest football team which was organized in the Stade du Roudourou. That was one sided match because Real Madrid team did 3 goals in this match and first goal was from Rodrygo abd he did goal at 27 minutes of the match and after this we expected that Brest team will try to make score level but they could not do that and Bellingham did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 56 minutes of the match and after his goal match bent to their side and now  there was no chance of win of Brest team and last goal did by the person who did first goal of the match and now he did goal at 78 minutes of the match.Match was ended with 3-0 and Rodrygo was top player of the match.

Today I was disappointed by Real Madrid because they lost to Espanyol and in the near future Barcelona will play against Alaves and hopefully Barcelona can win to be able to eliminate little disappointment over Real Madrid lost.
Barcelona is playing at home and Alaves is just lower team that Barcelona should have been able to beat very easily, on the other hand this match is also very important to be won in order to continue to catch up with Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

• He has too much squad with plenty ballon d'or aspirants competing against each other.
• Real Madrid would have won that match assuming it was only Vini leading the team while Mbappe and Rodrygo on the bench. Or just anyone of the above 3 led the team.
• Real Madrid is also not consistent this season. Anyone can win them for sure.

They are lucky they still lead in the Laliga, this would have been a sad season for them just like as it's happening to Manchester city.

Selling Rodrygo, it's not a good advice. Real Madrid smartly bought Rodrygo and cleverly grew him up, and now he belongs to top 10 best attacking players globally.

Do you think what will happen if they sell Rodrygo and Mbappe or Vinicius get an injury?
Rodrygo can play together with Mbappe and Vinicius, or can be a best replacement for these attacking star players. Vinicius, Mbappe and Rodrgyo are smart and they can support each other well, they are able to make up a new trio like Benzema, Ronaldo and Bale seasons ago.

Quite a shocking defeat and I lost my bet on that match because Real Madrid lost and it was exactly as you said because Real Madrid played as if they were leading by many points from the challengers so they did not show a more improved game to get points. Now there are many opportunities for Atletico Madrid and Barcelona to catch up even though Real Madrid are currently leading the table and in the next match it will be very detrimental if Real Madrid get another unexpected result and even a draw can give an advantage to the challengers below.
