I think we should be happy first as Barcelona got what matters most and that's the 3 points, the amount of goals that they used in getting the 3 points doesn't matter at this moment but what matters is how to get the 3 points from the games that they're playing. I was expecting Barcelona to score more goals to put pressure on Real Madrid but they couldn't score despite dominating the game but atleast they're not losers as Real Madrid that couldn't win their own game after all that they played. Yes indeed, if you consider Barcelona's dominance and also the attacks given, it should have been more than 1 goal. But the point is still winning. I think when Barcelona actually were running riot on Valencia almost everyone was with the same talk that the club needs to stay consistent in winning games early, for me this is not about the club actually matching their previous score line but rather trying to matching the same performance. It is becoming a norm that the three top teams in the league aren’t consistent enough to actually unsit the other in the league standings. Getting all three points in that game was the most important thing for Barcelona and that they actually got at the end but in terms of their performance in the game, I don't think there was anything convincing about it. A home game against Alaves shouldn't end with anything less than two goal margin win for Barcelona if they played to their best as a team. In that game today, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha who have been two of the best wingers this season were performing below their best and that's why few chances were created in the game. If nothing is done to improve the performance I saw from Barcelona today, I don't think they'll be able to catch up with Real Madrid at the top of the league table

I understand how you feel, when we have often seen rain of goals in their matches and it makes us expect the same thing in this match but in reality Barcelona was helpless in front of Alaves by only being able to score one goal, but for me they were still lucky because they brought home 3 valuable points even though they had to work hard unlike Real who were unlucky because they went home empty-handed. I think it is because these results like 7-0 are outliers, it is not the rule how these games go when Barcelona creates a lot of chances. In that game when they scored 7 goals, every shot was essentially a goal, they had a conversion rate of 100% in the first 20 minutes or so, but it is not realistic to expect that they can do this for several games in a row. Sometimes they have a special day when not a single chance is missed.

I don't think the smaller teams were underestimate, rather I feel that most of them are being confronted with the fear of being relegated, the reason they are playing with such boldness that we saw this weekend.
