I have been saying it and I will continue to say it that the major problem of Real Madrid is the presence of mbappé and the vinicius Junior at the top. If you like do not acknowledge it but I have made my findings and that is true. If it were to be only vinicius Junior that they team is built around, he would always deliver the team. Also if the thing is built around mbappé, it will also deliver the team at any time. But having too young world class players and who are ballon d'or contenders in the same team will only breed unspoken competition among them and that is one of the problems of the present Real Madrid.

Rodrygo is enough to support Vini Junior at the top and a natural 9 like Osimhen would be signed and peace will reign.

Currently, the chemistry of Vini and Mbappe is still not well established, even if you look at the attacking pair between Vini-Rodrygo or Mbappe-Rodrygo, it is actually much more stable than pairing Vini and Mbappe in attack.
But it does become a natural thing for me when there are 2 players with strong individuals in terms of skills and goal scoring instincts, there must be a sense of competition to show who is the best, especially when both are actually in the same position with almost similar player types.

This is what ultimately became a problem for Ancelotti this season although things like this can still be minimized with the right coaching style but if the coach is unable to suppress the ego of each player then it will clearly be a problem like now.
If indeed in the end Madrid still wants to make Vini and Mbappe in the same position then at least there must be a coach who is really able to maximize the ability and suppress the ego of the player because if not then situations like this will continue to repeat and ultimately disrupt the club's performance repeatedly every season.

I know it sounds weird but I do agree with you: the only real striker they have is Mbappé, and even though he is a very good player he is not as good as Cristiano Ronaldo or Benzema, who used to play a lot for the team. The other forwards they have are Vinicius and Rodrygo and they are not goalscorer, actually they miss quite a lot of chances. When they used to have CR7, Benzema and Bale it was a totally different story.

I see it from a different angle, Mbappe position is not as a pure striker, but a left winger. Look at Real Madrid statistics without Mbappe, overall they played as a team and managed to dominate the match. Despite not scoring, Vinicius also played more collectively than when they were eliminated from the UCL.
Luckily they were able to get full points through Valverde's goal in injury time, this is the kind of performance I expected from Madrid who managed to pressure their opponents throughout the match.

I feel that Real Madrid's performance is getting worse day by day, IDK how solid Bilbao's defense is, but with all that possession & attacking attempts, they should be able to score a lot of goals. Quite disappointed with this result.

Now in the standings between Real Madrid & Barcelona there is a difference of 4 points, which is still quite far considering there are only a few more matches & losing 1 match will not be a big problem for Barcelona.

I knew this game was going to be very difficult for Real Madrid, because Real Madrid have not been in a very good form recently, and their exit from the Champions League I wonder if they have gotten over it.  Athletic Club have been in a very good form of recently, I expected them to give Real Madrid a run of there money, Real Madrid lacks a striker, I think it's time for them to get a striker. That team lacks a striker. That should be a priority for Florentino Perez.

Kylan Mbappe is not a player with the main position as a pure striker but his position as a wing attacker.
Real Madrid's line up is currently no middle attacker. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Endrick including Arda and Diaz are all the same as Kylan Mbappe's position.
I do not want to continue the discussion related to Real Madrid statistics in the vs Bilbao match they won at the end of the match, but I want to say that Real Madrid must find the forward as a target man to help increase goal productivity.

Real Madrid's game against Bilbao is not an easy game. I'm favoring them to win it, but must be going throughout difficult game. They're good in attack, but woeful in defense. As long as they can score as many as possible, they can win it.
They have problem in their defense and can be exposed by Bilbao. They may be losing it if they have not yet solved it.

As for the odds, Madrid is a bit favorable to win the game, but the gap is so small. I'm still risking myself by betting on them. Let's see how it's gonna work.

Bilbao have a Europa League game coming up, so they made the bus in the game against Madrid... Bilbao only took a few shots and one corner kick in the whole match, when Madrid took 14 corners... Of course this game was not an easy one for Madrid, but they result as I thought was fair... The gap with Barca is not very big now...

Villarreal drew with Real Sociedad in a home game.The first half ended 1-1 and the second half ended 2-2 with goals in the first 15 minutes.Neither team really wanted this result because Villarreal's points difference with Athletic Bilbao is not good news for them.Sociedad had to win this game if they wanted to finish in the top 7.

They are desperately trying to keep up with Barcelona to not lose the La Liga at least. Not much time left for the El Clasico in the league. If the gap is preserved until then, I think Barcelona will turn that game into a title decider by destroying them once again.

Sevilla hosted Alaves at home.We can say that both teams are in the relegation zone and need to win to stay in the league, but the 2 teams could not beat each other.There were not many positions in the match and although Sevilla scored the first goal, the first half ended 1-1 and there were no more goals in the match.I don't think Sevilla will be relegated, but we can say that they are still in the risky zone.
Real Madrid managed to win 1-0 with a last minute goal in a difficult match.I didn't expect Real Madrid to win so hard.Athletic Bilbao didn't show themselves much in the match, but they held on well for 90 minutes.If they had prevented Valverde's last minute goal, they could have taken a point with a good defense, but it didn't happen.Real Madrid continues to follow their rival Barcelona with this win.

Exactly Real Madrid showed how strong they are in that game. They played well and won easily without Mbappé. This shows that they have good team with strong players. You are right after they lost in Champions League some people thinking they are sad and play badly. But Vinicius played incredibly well and that really motivated whole team.
It is interesting how sometimes when things are tough team can actually play even better. Instead of become weak they seemed determined to win and get those important three points. Fact is that they played so well without Mbappé and put a lot of pressure on other team shows they can change their tactics and really want to win. This win must have made Real Madrid feel much more confident and it shows that they are still strong team in league.

That's the problem for Madrid, they can't handle pressure they put on themselves and that game yesterday shows it all and is funny that they played a team that was busy during the week, was imagining if it was Sevilla or let's say Las Palmas or any of those struggling teams, it would have been bad for them and I some how blame Bilbao because the have those little chances that they could not convert and I never saw that force of fighting to get something in that game, it was as if they needed to rest after the game against Rangers. With the situation of things I don't think they, that's Madrid can catch up with Barcelona, like you said that the Madrid side are desperate and that's how they'll be till they get that opportunity of stay in that number 1 spot on the log but can Barcelona lose any game or drop point? I don't see that happening.

The striker discussion about Real Madrid originates from the fact that they usually had a real 9 for a long time. They had players like Higuain or Benzema, van Nistelrooy or old Ronaldo, then they got CR7 who was able to fulfill what a whole attacking line was supposed to do. He was a winger, but at the same time he was a 9.

They don't have an extraordinary center forward now. Mbappe can play that position, but in every game you can see he has trouble filling that role. They would be better off if they had a player like Mbappe again and then two wingers, but I don't know whether Mbappe likes to play right wing that much, but he would have to since Vinicius Junior is a left winger only, or has been so far.

A total dominance in Madrid yesterday, but Real had a very hard time converting chances into goals. It took 3 minutes of the stoppage time for Valverde to score the only goal and keep Real's hopes of winning the league alive.

The last El Clásico of the season is approaching. Barcelona will clash with Real at home on 11 May, so in 3 weeks from now. If the gap between the 2 teams doesn't increase by then, that could turn out to be the most important match of the season.

Aside from signing a pure attacker into this team, they also need someone that it's as good as Toni Kross in that midfield to dictate and controls how they attack and defend, because since Toni Kross left real madrid they have greatly struggled against mostly bigger opposition that knows how to boss the game also, so Toni Kross replacement should be among one of the top needs of real madrid this summer transfer window, especially now that Barcelona are in a very good form.
So for them to be able to compete, they must first of all signs Toni Kross replacement and a pure attacker that can lead the line very well just as karim benzima did when he was at real madrid.
As for their game yesterday against Atletico Bilbao, they were just lucky to go home with the whole three points because it was just a moment of brilliance from valvades that won the day, a strong right footed shot that was volleyed into the left top corner of the post, but if they really want to be crown champions at the end of the season, they really need to step up their game and be hoping that Barcelona drop more points between now and the end of the season.

R. Madrid doesn't lack strikers, in fact, they are one of the teams with the best and strongest strikers right now. The only weak player on that front line is Endrick, who is also talented but finds it difficult to penetrate opponents like K. Mbappe. The problem R. Madrid is currently facing is in the midfield, they need someone to distribute the ball efficiently, Modric is the one doing that but currently too old for that job.

Real Madrid are not short of strikers, but they are more short of midfielders who are able to supply and give the best passes to their forwards in the front line. In addition, Real Madrid's back line also needs to be fixed because in that sector there are still shortcomings this season so there are many failures that Real Madrid cannot achieve this season. As for their elimination from the Champions League with Real Madrid's current condition, I think that is normal and Real Madrid must have forgotten it because Real Madrid are not a whiny team because they have collected 15 Champions League trophies during their career.

Of course they were lucky to have won the game, the goal was an unexpected one. No one believed a goal would have went in from that angle but Valverde is known to be scoring unexpected goals from unbelievable angle and distance.

Real Madrid performance is not convincing at all, they won the game but couldn't create much chances, it is clearly showing that they have no tactics and also needs to add some players to their team like a creative midfielder and some other positions. They would be better than even Barcelona if the coach can introduce some tactical play because they have more talented players.

Also I think Vinicius needs to wake up and stop feeling too big just because he was a runner up in the ballon D'or award. His performance was so bad that he lost possession carelessly multiple times I can't keep count of, the coach needs to talk to him or bench him if he should keep playing this way because he is putting more work on other player if he keep playing like that.

I am happy if the rumor is true, I do not hate Ancelotti but I think his golden age is over and there must be another coach with different abilities, a more modern and more aggressive playing style because I think Madrid in Ancelotti hands is not too aggressive besides Ancelotti pays less attention to young players which is very unfortunate for the development of player abilities. But the big question is who is worthy of replacing him? the most intense rumor right now is Xabi, I don't mind if Xabi replaces Don Carlo.

Valladolid is currently one of the worst sides in La Liga they are having 13 matches without any win with 12 loses and 1 draw their defense is one of the worst in this league with 76 goals conceded in 32 games. No one was expecting anything good from them in this game but Osasuna took early lead which let them down and then in second half some improvement but still this was not enough for them to have any chance of coming on level Osasuna doing good job as now they are giving themselves a favor for having spot into UEFA competitions which is looking not easy but possible.

Real Sociedad is looking terrible in this season even still they have good chance of overtaking CELTA VIGO, but they needed to work on their attack which is completely useless in this season and never allow them to have another good season at the top.
