Quite an exciting match, with my hopes I actually wanted this match to end in a penalty shootout but Barcelona was able to turn things around to lead by one goal in extra time, the emotions experienced by Antonio Rüdiger I understand but what else can the referee do who has the power.
Congratulations to Barcelona for their victory.

They've worked hard for this, they deserve  the win, they're the better side this season. I love their transformation since the arrival of Hansi Flick he's shown he's a better tactician than Carlo Ancelotti this particular season. PK wouldn't have made sense to me, it ended  just  the perfect way. Next up would be for Barcelona to win La liga. Finally, I've seen lots of criticism towards this man (Kylian Mbappe) but, he has done perfectly well in his first season.

but mbappe perhaps had his best years a few years before that and madrid signed a player who already had a place in the world. mbappe's current performance will probably be the best years of his career, that's the difference.

ronaldo scored 33 goals in the season he arrived and 53, 60 and 55 goals in the seasons after that. mbappe will probably score around 40 goals next season.

in short, mbappe scored more goals in his best seasons than ronaldo did when he was still developing. it's not right to compare the two.

That's why I think Jurgen Klopp should take over the team instead of Xabi. Because the German manager has had a very successful career. I think he has absolute authority over his players. I think Carlo Ancelotti has lost control over the players at Real Madrid. The manager needs to control the players in some situations. They need to show it more in such finals. Maybe he will leave the team at the end of the season and that's why he doesn't care.

I disagree with you about saying C. Ronaldo was a developing player before Madrid signed him, it's inconsistent to the fact on ground that Ronaldo has already won a world best award with Manchester United before he signed for Madrid. Being a world best isn't an achievement for developing players if you must know. For emphasis, Ronaldo had won the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup before his move to Madrid.

In fact, it's rather Kylian Mbappe which could be termed as the developing player in this context of comparison between the two players as at when they moved to Madrid. It's actually the edge that Mbappe understood he's going to get through Madrid in winning the champions league and perhaps the world best that prompted his move from PSG to Madrid. What in European competition has Mbappe won with PSG before moving to Madrid?

Their game against Barcelona and Arsenal this season has revealed a lot about them and how uncoordinated they are as a team. It's now three win a row for Barcelona against Real Madrid this season and the worst part is that even if they are to play against Barcelona ten times this year, Barcelona will still outshine them again and again. Although Madrid had a chance yesterday to snatch the victory but they relaxed too much whenever they are winning instead of putting more pressure. I'm very sure Barcelona wouldn't have allowed that equaliser if they were the one winning with a 2-1 at that stoppage time.  Ancelotti has really ran out of ideas and strategies because even his substitutions are not impactfull but rather causing more damages.

From my observation in the first half, it's obvious that Barcelona would win the match because I don't see Madrid capable of stopping them. Madrid is a mess this season, and a lot of their pride was destroyed this season due to the weakness of the club. Barcelona played much better than them and also attacked better. Real Madrid is not as good as it used to be, we must accept that. There were not many changes from last year's squad, but injured players changed the whole balance of Real Madrid's game. Militao, Mendy, Carvajal caused the defense line to deteriorate. They have great problems in defense. Midfielder Lucas Vazquez plays as a right-back. The opportunities he has are not enough to compensate for this. They give away too many positions and the opponents always make very strong attacks from that wing. If your defenders are bad, you lose the game, this is the misfortune Ancelotti has experienced this year. However, this is also his fault because he did not make any transfers to the team. He had to make transfers in order to have good alternatives considering the injuries.

Mbappe and Ronaldo have very different characters. I know, Ronaldo has never won the World Cup title, but he is like a player who has lost the title of "old". Very funny indeed. For a match where Barcelona should have been awarded a penalty in the first half for a foul on Cubarsi by Dani Ceballos, Madrid sure knows how to be dramatic. It was as if the referee was scared of making calls against Madrid because of the pressure they put him under.
In the second half, Barcelona should have gotten a penalty for a foul on Ferran Torres by Rudiger. Rudiger kicked Ferran's heels, but the referee didn't award it, yet these players still have the nerve to lash out at the referee for a foul call on Mbappe simply because he was attacking with the ball. It's absurd. Somehow, they always feel they're owed something.
I watch this league all the time, and I'm always surprised at how Madrid always seem to make themselves the victim.
What's even funnier is that, after all this, people will look me dead in the eye and tell me Barcelona pays referees. Funny.
