Real Madrid fought for a hard win against mallorca. Even though Real were having the ball most of the time, it was Mallorca which scored first at 11th minute and Real had to wait till 68th minute in the 2nd half to score an equalizer. The goal from Mbappe was spectacular dribbling the ball between the defender to score his 40th goal of the season. But Real Madrid had to wait till the last of extra time to get the winning goal. If mallorca could have defended a few minute more, they would be sharing points and Barcelona would have officially won the trophy.

Real Madrid made some mistakes at the beginning of the game, which Mallorca took advantage of by scoring a goal in just 11 minutes of the game and it took Real Madrid 68 minutes to recover. Mallorca was leading by 1 goal in the first half of the game. And Real Madrid could fully recover in the 68th minute. And at the end of the game, Real Madrid scored a goal and won the match in extra time. However, Real Madrid was under a lot of pressure in this match. Ramon scored 1 goal in the 90+5 minutes, so he deserves a lot of credit for winning this match. Mbappe always plays well, but he looked very depressed in this match

I have made a promise to myself to stay away from any match that has Atletico in it in the remainder of the league. They are very unpredictable and lose when you don't expect them to.
That being said, another reason why I would be avoiding this game is that Osasuna will be playing at home. Playing at El Sader is difficult for almost everybody. They make it difficult for their opponents, especially the big teams. Barcelona and Real Madrid have both dropped points there this season.

Theres also the fact that Osasuna are chasing a spot in Europe while Atleti donr have much to fight for so Osasuna might be more motivated. I honestly do not know how this game will go so I wont be betting in it.

You are right that Osasuna is a big team and a tough opponent at home. It is very difficult for Atletico Madrid to win at this ground. Although Atletico Madrid is in a good position and their recent form is also quite good. But how terrible Osasuna is at home can be understood by looking at the statistics of this ground.

Adbitco, for saying this, it seems that you just started watching La Liga matches recently because if you had been watching La Liga matches in the past 2 decades, you would have had a clear picture and known that Barcelona is a Spanish giant too. Is it because Barcelona was struggling in the past few years that made you believe and say that Barcelona is not a Spanish giant?

Mayor of ogba and Adbitco I see these response are driven from the passion for both clubs. Adbitco seems to be a Real Madrid fan so no way he choose Real Madrid to be the Spanish giant over Barcelona. For me they are both Spanish giants and stats can prove it. Here is why;

Barcelona has won 27 La Liga titles, 31 Copa del Rey trophies and 5 UCL trophies while Real Madrid has won 35 La Liga titles, 20 Copa del Rey trophies and 15 UCL trophies

Based on the stats it is clear Real Madrid is superior to Barcelona and they are not just a Spanish giant, they are the most decorated and successful club in European Football.

I doubt it if they would even wanna lose any point tomorrow against Espanyol. I'm positive they will want to wrap it up same tomorrow. At the same time this Barcelona side will want to score as many goals as possible and I think they will likely want to feed Lewandowski more so he can get enough chances to score more goal. The battle of the Pichi chi is at stake here and at the moment Mbappe has surpassed Lewandowski in the race for the boot, so I'm thinking that Barca players will rally round him to making sure he scores enough goals.

Barcelona did not depend on Lewandowski's performance this season. So we have seen a consistent good performance from Barcelona in La Liga and Champions League platforms. Barcelona played well and won without Lewandowski. But you are right that Barcelona needed Lewandowski a lot in the Champions League semi-finals. If Lewandowski had been with the squad, maybe Barcelona could have qualified for the final. Because in such a high-voltage match, Barcelona needed an experienced player like Lewandowski.

Hansi Flick will have to find a replacement for Lewa. And he will have to do it next season. Lewandowski is almost 37 years old now. It is difficult for Lewandowski to maintain fitness for a full season.

ATM are not playing well in this game and they can go in to lose this game because the second half can still be more terrible for them. Osasuna has been the best team even when the bookies flavored Atletico Madrid. I have a feeling that today so many people who choose the bigger boys to win will complain a lot since nothing positive is coming out from them in this game.
I agree with you on Osasuna being the best and I won't want them to stay back and defend more because Atletico Madrid will not stop but continue attacking to get an equalizer and another goal to get a win. i also feel that osasuna will most likely win this match.. the current stats show that osasuna has a 62% chance of winning, and only a 27% chance of drawing... that's a pretty high chance of winning this match. it seems that playing at their home ground gives them a pretty good advantage to put pressure on atlético madrid. they should be able to win this match if they keep up the game they're playing now.

A well fought out win for Madrid as they came back from a goal down their usual performance to beat mallorca by 2:1 at home I didn't know why madrid always start a game on not winning to play like they wants to win until concede a goal before attempting to win and this was one of their problems this season as for me the laliga title is over so winning the remaining matches will be nice to end the season on a good note but I was not impressed by their fist half performance

Ancelotti fielded a very different lineup than usual, mostly made up of second string players. I think that factor has caused them to struggle to win, even Madrid fell behind early in the first half. Madrid attack intensity only increased in the second half, and Los Blancos dramatically managed to turn things around at the end of the match. Mallorca almost managed to take home a point, but they lost focus towards the end of the match. The additional three points no longer increase Madrid chances of winning the trophy, the victory only postponed Barcelona party, because Hansi Flick team only needed one more win to secure the La Liga trophy.

I was surprised at what I saw the Madrid side play against a team that's not good to be in the top flight, honestly Madrid was lucky, if it were Betis or Alaves or let's say Valencia, the story would have been different because the chances Mallorca threw away was too much to give them the win and the couldn't hang on the ball for 10secs and Madrid could not score more than the 2 goals we saw them get in that game. Ancelotti can't coordinate the team like he used to maybe because his mind is no longer at the club and he couldn't wait to start a different journey so I'd say Madrid was lucky tonight.

I already knew the match would be tough, cos Mallorca are looking to qualify for an European championship spot. In the game Madrid were very  lucky that goal chance that was missed by that Mallorca player just immediately as Madrid equalised but Madrid really fought hard for the comeback, the Mallorca keeper was at his best but was unlucky to let two goals slip in.

The games tonight I don't expect Atletico Madrid to lose, but they’re already down a goal but I think they’ll equalise or even win before the 90.
Rayo and Betis are playing 2:2 draw at the moment I’m expecting Betis to complete the comeback.
Barcelona are probably gonna be champions after tonight but it’s not gonna be an easy one .

Atletico Madrid did dominate the course of the match but they failed to make the most of every opportunity they got so that not a single goal was scored in Osasuna's goal. And seeing that the match was almost over, it seemed impossible for Atletico Madrid to win this match.
