Lewy since joining Barcelona he has scored 101 goals in 147 matches for Barcelona in all competitions of course he is not reckless. He is a very productive Barcelona striker especially with the addition of young Barcelona midfielders who really help Lewy in scoring goals. So it is undeniable that he is a very complete striker and with Barcelona so far he has shown how accurate, agile, and intelligent he is. His shots from long range, from outside the penalty box are very accurate, shots from difficult positions are also good even from difficult angles, he is also good at doing tricks, and he has a good header from long range.

Keeping him for another season is better, but Flick still has to find a replacement for Lewy because age will slowly affect performance. So Barcelona needs a sharper and smarter number 9 player to stay competitive if Lewy stagnates, especially next season will be more competitive after seeing Real Madrid make a major overhaul.

Robert Lewandoski is an exceptional striker right from time and he is known for scoring goals, he is so smart and intelligent when it comes to converting chances though age is affecting him now I mean his speed and strength, how he muscles players is not longer as before but the idea and mentality is always there likewise Cristiano Ronaldo, he is aged now and yet still scores a lot of goals more than some young players whose blood are still flowing well and fresh though he is not also longer fast and doesn't press like before due to age but those ideas and skills are just there and right now I think what Robert Lewandoski is playing with now is experience.

I haven't seen any green light of any imterest in any forward from other clubs which is why I think Lewandowski contract might probably be extended. There is no way Hansi will want to put that forward into a test for anything. Those periods he left for injury, it cost the team a lot because that particular that time, things got heated for them, it's one of the reason they got eliminated in the semi final with Inter, the goals were there but interest was push to attack instead of letting the back do their job.

The reason they brought in Lewandowski is based on how he can withstand the pressure, as a striker you don't get the open space to move the ball just the way Raphina or Yamal does playing from the side, it's always tight to hold the ball and only experience will qualify a player for that role.

Rating Lewandowski against some strikers in the world now he is still better but rating Lewandowski against top strikers now in the world I don’t think he will come in the top five of the list and personally if Barcelona wants to dominate the world football they need to have the top players in various positions. Personally I think they need to actually add a new striker this summer if the funds is there but if they are struggling then they have to simply improvise.

For me this is the perfect time to get Julian Alvarez into the team, for me he is the most complete striker right now only behind Harry Kane in my opinion and with him already tiring up the Laliga there wouldn’t be risk of settling down. Alvarez gives me this David Villa vibe and he looks like the missing piece from this Barcelona puzzle

There have been active rumours recently that Ter Stegen might be sold. I don't know if it's because he hasn't played most of the season, Szczesny seems to be playing well considering he was already wrapping up his career, but has shown a phenomenal comeback. Being old and often injured no longer makes him a productive striker so Barcelona can use the sale of Lewandowski to increase the depth of the squad. So i check Lewa's statistic, and i find how he's reliable striker. He became the second of top scorer in La Liga after Mbappe, though he's 36 years old. This proves how calling it unreliable striker didn't even match to the reality.
He's the oldest among all of top strikers in La liga, but can still compete with Mbappe, which is on fire now.

I don't see in what stats he looked unreliable striker for you. His injury prone may be your concern. However, as long as he won't be injury, he's a good striker despite his age.
