This is a double-edged sword because what you say is not entirely correct in my opinion. It needs a team that supports each other, so much I agree with. But who is responsible for that? You can have teams that get along with each other naturally because the characters match. But you can have teams where a lot of moderation is required and usually in these top teams like Real Madrid, moderation is required because you don't only have 11 superstars, but 20 superstars and all of them want to play 90 minutes every game or want to take the free kicks or the penalties or whatever that be.

First of all you need a certain level of quality or otherwise you won't be able to compete with other top teams in the long run regardless of how well they get along with each other. If the quality is there, the coach is mainly responsible for putting these players together in the best formation possible and to keep everyone in the team motivated and ready to jump in any second with 100% of their capacity, irrespective of whether or not they are disappointed that they were not chosen to be a starter.

Therefore I think quality comes first on that level and then moderation. Once the quality is there and you find a coach who is a strong moderator, which I think Xabi Alonso truly is, then the team is going to be incredibly strong.

Real Madrid needs to add quality defenders again. Because I see Real Madrid even though they have good second line players in the attack and midfield. But for the back line, I think Real Madrid still needs quality second-string players. because when the main player is injured, Real Madrid must be ready with a second layer of players whose quality is not much different. Sometimes I don’t know why people blame the managers when a team fails, although the managers are the ones who manage the players, but sometimes the managers cannot just act on things like that without getting direction from the management. Exactly, I could remember reading such a news 2 years ago when this injury started on the defensive players and nothing was done about it. That was when Ancelotti started using the available as the desirable. Midfielder were turned into defenders thereby giving them new roles which they weren't used to. Camavinga was deployed to the LB wing, Tchouaméni was paired with Rudiger at CB and Valverde played most part of his game at the RB wing. Yes Ancelotti is an experienced and skilled coach we have seen him achieve a lot successfully for Real Madrid. He should not be blamed at all he tried his best to put the team in a good position but due to some important players of his team being injured they failed this season. It's not all Ancelotti fault because it also depends on the transfer policy implemented by Florentino Perez. So Ancelotti had no choice but to play available players, at that time the mid season transfer window was not Real Madrid habit and based on their history they rarely do it.
