The second half is now underway, and I expect something different from the first half, especially in terms of Madrid's attacking quality and finishing.  
What was done in the first half was decent, but they failed to capitalize on the momentum they created, resulting in opportunities being wasted.

The biggest worry for me is the start of Xabi Alonso's new season and facing a relatively strong opponent like Osasuna at the beginning. Although on paper Real Madrid are stronger than Osasuna and are the favorites to win, we should not forget that this is the first match of Xabi Alonso's season. In all aspects, we should not be sure of a Real Madrid win and we should not ignore Osasuna. Because I have doubts about how the new players will perform with the new coach's tactics. This Frist half was boring, Osasuna are defending very well and Real Madrid are not finding it easy breaking them down, but to be fair to real Madrid they are missing Jude Bellingham in this game right now.

Keep calm, even though I felt like Alonso needed to stay at other clubs untill two or three seasons more before picking the Real Madrid job. The second half of the game is going well and Kylian Mbappe have found the back of the net in the 51 minutes, probably they will score more goals but am just surprised that they couldn't score in the first half which was really a poor performance, they should learn to start winning matches from the first half so that it will give them more confidence in the second half. They should better score another goal to avoid an equalizer from Osasuna because if they equalize the score they won't allow the Real Madrid to penetrate their defense again.

It may be said that the replacement of two players at the same time at the same time is very appropriate even though I think the change of trent is not precise at that time. However, Alonso has his own reasons why he should include Carvajal replacing Trent.

And even with how Osasunaare playing defensive game Madrid still finds its way you the net and one thing I love about Madrid is that when it comes to a difficult opponent they usually take there time to study the weakness of the opponent and that is a good sign that Madrid is mostly a tactical club and that is why any time Madrid is playing you don't just underestimate them, Osasuna also played a brilliant game so I was sure that Madrid will do everything possible to win the game. And since they don't want to take chances this season so there should be some improvement then because madrid holds a good record.

When I was watching the match, I didn't see any great performance from the players depsite all the quality players in the team. They find it difficult to breakthrough Osasuna defense easily. This made them unable to create golden chances for a goal. The goal was a penalty and if not for that goal, I don't think that Madrid would have scored Osasuna that's playing with one man down.

Xabi Alonso needs to continue working on the team tirelessly in order for them to be in their best form this season. I was expecting more than one goal from this match.

I honestly don't know what to say about this team at this point but I don't have confidence in them. Real Madrid did everything any team could have done in this match but nobody could score goal despite the 8 short on target, no one could be converted to goal. Technically, without a penalty that means we wouldn't have win this match? This guys weren't too ready for this match but I'm ashame that the front line was weak in this match, a big fix is needed.

Osasuna were putting more of there game in their defense, Real Madrid would have work on their forward immediately they came back from the second half. Mbape was even given all of his energy in that match but I don't understand the wings. This is the comment for me. Exactly what transpired in the match. The Osasuna squad had a very fiercely unbreakable defence and the Real Madrid almost found it impossible to penetrate the 18 box if not for the slide tackle which was made by the Osasuna defender Juan Cruz and it cost them the penalty shoot which brought about the goal . It is sad the team lacked a very strong squad across , and had to play defensive game to survive. I noticed they were trying to seek if they could capitalize on any counter attack opportunity but it came on rarely because Real Madrid is generally a team to beat in Laliga .

Real Madrid managed to get three point through penalty that was converted by their hitman Kylan Mbappe. Not a good first match outing for me for a team we expect so much from this new season. Osasuna is a small team by all standard and Real Madrid dominating the game like they did is not supposed to be a surprise to any positive minded person. Madrid ought to use the match to consolidate on their goals as the season is new and unpredictable but since three points is all that matters, it was a nice start after all.
