Well, Xabi Alonso didn't even use high press in the first touch. He just used a balance press where the team fullback and midfielder try to utilize tackling skills to get the ball from the opponent team. So I don't think that putting Vinicius Junior on the bench for that reason that he didn't have the competency to play an offensive tactics. Maybe it is part of the reasons most persons see it that Vinicius is not stable with his emotions and psychology most times, he has a mostly independent orientation and so bringing him in later as the game is on is mostly better.  He mostly loves to be the play maker but this does not change the fact that he is still good at his position whenever he is at his peak form. I just wonder how you guys look at things and come to these kind of conclusions, it's baffling. Was Real Madrid problem of last season in the attack line? Didn't they score enough goals to win games? Will they be the ones to score goals and still defend? You still haven't realised that the biggest problem of Real Madrid last season was the defence! Some of you are not just objective here,  because the teams problem was clearly visible that they were played out of position because of the injuries that befell the team.

You are very correct sometimes we that are watching the Match will feel that it is very easy for them that are playing the match to see the right person to pass the ball to, the only people that will be saying this kind of things are people that don't play football, I play football and sometimes I don't see players to pass the ball sometimes it is caused by tension of don't wanting to miss the ball so it's not really easy for footballers we the viewers see the players that the ball should be given but they find it hard to find the right player to pass the ball to.

Look clearly About Real Madrid positioning, they are literally playing Anceloti kind of pattern. Cortois attest to it that that's what they are playing so far but they have been trying so hard to break away from it to get close to Xabi more better but since things are difficult under short time, he is playing the strategy to make it look better. The fact is that expectation is getting higher every day from the fans; people already expect everything to work out in a very short period of time.
