We're talking about La Liga, and of course, not choosing the number one club, but rather the La Liga title race, which usually sees Atletico Madrid as the third-placed contender, standing in the way of Real Madrid and Barcelona securing points. It has nothing to do with PSG and Chelsea.
I don't think Real Madrid performance is entirely bad they're still improving, so we'll just have to see how Xabi Alonso develops the right strategy to continue competing with Barcelona. Real Madrid can't afford to lose. This club has richer resources than Barcelona and boasts more star players, so losing to Barcelona would only further tarnish Real Madrid image.
