The introduction of Kubo Take was a tore on the defence of Real Madrid players as he was taking them on at will, few time they would have scored but the keeper and the defence did their job in the hard way. After missing a nice opportunity at 9th minute, Mbappe scored a nice goal utilizing a sloppy back pass from Real Sociedad players, almost all of the players were on Real Madrid's half while Mbappe utilized the flaw of Sociedad's defense.
Real Madrid got limited to 10 players early in 32nd minute as Huijsen talked a Sociedad player who was carrying a counter attack ball. That was a sure goal and the red card was strategic win for Real Madrid but it limited them to 10. They had the lead doubled in in 44th minute with the assist of Mbappe and goal from Guler. Real Madrid had many attacks in the first half but Remiro stopped most of it.
2nd half, Real Madrid went defensive. Real Sociedad got a penalty for handball inside the d-box. But Real Sociedad kept on pushing and it looked like they'll equal it but they didn't.
