I think Real Sociedad played very well. No one expected them to push Real Madrid this hard, but they did. The red card really affected Real Madrid badly in the second half as they were totally outplayed and were lucky to have conceded just one goal from the penalty spot. The introduction of Kubo Take was a tore on the defence of Real Madrid players as he was taking them on at will, few time they would have scored but the keeper and the defence did their job in the hard way. You could see how badly Los Blancos wanted the match to end.

I wasn’t confident they would even win right after they got that red card, had the first goal not be scored before then they would have actually had more difficulty in the game, it was such a tense game for Real Madrid players and fans, if anyone from that defense had actually picked up a red card it would’ve been more manageable than Huijsen who to me is their best defender at the moment. But seriously I commend the team for actually defending well we have all been saying this since last season that it is the defense that wins you a league, periods like this wouldn’t be totally off but as a club willing to win the league you should be able to scrape out wins like this. Good three points for Real Madrid next up is home game to Espanyol.
I don’t know maybe they will actually appeal this Huijsen red card and have it reduced to 1 game because if it stays at the three games then he will be missing out on the Madrid Derby and seriously I am confident for Real Madrid without him.

Although I know the result of the game and the events of the game, after seeing your quote, I was confused and watched the result of the game for the second time. The red card was given to Real Madrid player Dean Huijsen, which happened in the 32nd minute of the game. Real Sociedad took advantage of this red card from Real Madrid, but they were not completely successful. Despite being one player short, Real Sociedad could not take full advantage of it and turn the match into a draw or a win.

Although they fought to dominate the game and kept possession of the ball. But their attack was not very effective or strong. Real Sociedad had a good chance to score a point against Real Madrid, but they failed to do so.

The game wasn't easy after the red card but the fact that they could hold against the threats of Real Sociedad is something I'm grateful at. Just going through the match statistics it's clear that after the first half real sociedad was the better team as they dominated everything about this game, looking at the ball possession sociedad had 64% compared to Madrid 36% of the ball possession even in total shorts sociedad got a total of 23 shorts compared to Madrid 13 short .

Real Sociedad where playing from home side, you would expect them to not make the game easy for Real Madrid and it even got worst for Real Madrid with that red card. A 1 goal draw back puts the game to a possible equalizer and that confident in the one player short on Real Madrid’s side alone could have pushed for the equalizer but, they couldn’t manage it.
Real Madrid still managed to keep their edge ahead of Barcelona.

I was impressed and also give Real Madrid alot of credit for their performance, for me I don't know if I would say that Real Sociedad didn't play well or it's just Real Madrid that did excellently well because going one man down and  still get to score and seal the win against the home team which is not something you get to see everyday. Tbh, Realmadrid tried today.. it ain’t easy to play with 10 men for 70+ mins, they did same last season though I think against osasuna,almost same minute with when Jude Bellingham was sent off then and they played well till last minute but later had a draw . Today it  was almost draw once again, Keeper did save them some dangerous attempts from Real sociedad.. The game ended with more dominance from Real sociedad anyways , they weren’t just lucky(real sociedad ) but overall Madrid tried.

This type of opportunity they had in this game only comes once in a while and I don’t think they will have another anytime soon again after missing this big opportunity to take a point home today. Basically, Real Madrid was a better team than them and there was no way they’re going to win the match confidently without finding it hard against them. An opportunity came for them when Real Madrid were one man down, they should have taken advantage of that to get an equalizer but I think they were still scared of conceding more goals which they later did and never got to take any point home today.

The red card was my major concern also because it was give to their best defender on the pitch, and we all know that most of Real Madrid defenders are injured, they are without David Alaba and Anthony Rudigar; but since they ended first half with 2 goals lead, I know they will maintain the win in the second half even though they can’t add any goal.

Lucky, despite conceding a penalty due to pressure in the 56th minute, they manage to hold them down till the final whistle which was very interesting to watch because Real Sociedad tried their best to get at least a draw in the game but they are unlucky in the match.

Kudos to the entire Real Madrid squad, they all played as a team to maintain the win. Alonso is doing a great job with Madrid, he will lead the team to greatness even though it might take him time to achieve that.
Real Madrid currently lead the La Liga table with 12 points after four matches, and they are three points above any other team. I think this season will be different because Barcelona might not catch up immediately.

Even if you say Real Sociedad weren't at their best, I still think it was a tight match for them. Playing with 10 men wasn't a big deal for Real Madrid as they were still able to defend and build attacks well. In fact, I didn't see any substitutions in the first half following Dean Huijsen's red card. Real Madrid did not completely lose their balance in the first half, even if Real Sociedad tried to apply high pressure on the defense.

Real Sociedad tried hard to win this home match, but luck wasn't on their side. Despite having 23 shots and 64% ball possession, they couldn't beat Real Madrid, but I felt they dominated. This result cemented Real Madrid's position at the top of the table with 4 wins from 4 matches, and such consistency is certainly highly anticipated.

I watched this game and I must say that after the Real Madrid player received a red card, I was very scared for the next few minutes. As a Real Madrid fan, I couldn't stop worrying every time the Real Sociedad players got to our defense. They really managed to cause us a lot of headaches. I'd say that luck saved us from a draw and, consequently, a drop in points today.

I won't say that Real Madrid's defense was good, because we're clearly not very strong defensively yet, but it's also clear that our defense is much better than Barcelona's. With this victory, Real Madrid remains at the top of the table. And if Barcelona drops points tomorrow, I predict that we could become champions this season with many games left in the league. I see that Real Madrid's new coach is doing a good job; he's to be congratulated.

Shocking result today as Deportivo Alaves stunned Athletic Bilbao at home today by a narrow 1- 0 win to edge them for the all three points, just before the start of La Liga games today, both Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao were leveled on points but Real Madrid won there match against Real Sociedad to move three points ahead and I was expecting Bilbao to follow in the same path by beating Alaves but instead they were the once to lose out to Alaves.

Real Madrid did very well today and I knew they will win the match they are very determine to make sure they lift the la Liga title this season, kylian mbappe is a very good player he performed very well in this match and I'm very sure you will keep doing better as for vinicius junior he really did not perform the way I expected and that was even while the coach had to change him in second half however I'm happy they won the match since they are topping the table they will not want to lose any match they will make sure that they will win every match.
Real Madrid should keep this spirit up so they can lift the la Liga title, as for Barca they are also very informed but I don't think Real Madrid will give them that chance to lift the la Liga title this season.
