Your frustration with Atlético Madrid's season is understandable especially after their recent poor performances. It is huge deal to suggest that long time manager Diego Simeone should leave it is thought many fans are having as team struggles to find its form. Match against Liverpool was perfect example of their problems they showed flashes of their old fighting spirit but could not hold on for result. Still you are right that it is early in season and Simeone has fixed things before. Big question is he can turn things around again and find way to get team back on track.

The Champions League competition is the toughest competition in Europe so I can understand why Barcelona can't prove their ability in the last few seasons but Barcelona has always been a strong club among others when they are in this competition even last season Barcelona reached the semifinals so if they repeat their good performance like last season I think they can go further and have a chance to bring home the trophy so they need to work hard in the Champions League to not lose in several matches in the early rounds so they can qualify for the round of 16.

Well for me, Barcelona's problem is not in this phase so them qualifying is just going to be a piece of cake. Their problem over the years since they last won it has always been in the knockout stages, that's where their major problems has always been. They need to focus more on the knockout stages. Find out reasons why they are always knocked out and look for a way around it, if not it will always end in the same way as previous years.

When they got knocked out last season it was really disappointing to me because unexpected a lot from them. Although they weren't easily knocked out, they gave inter Milan a tough time, I would say that inter won perhaps as a result of luck but like you said, they really need to find out what the problem is and tackle it this season. That main issue is consistency, they always have a good start but don't end it well

Hansi flick has really shown his credibility both in the league and the UEFA Champions League, if he should continue same energy as last season I think he can get the unexpected by winning the UEFA Champions League, like Barcelona really got what it takes to achieve that but I just wonder what maybe the problem in fact if I'm to be Hansi flick I'd focus more on the UEFA Champions League as real Madrid will be a bone to the neck in the Spanish LA Liga, so I'd give more of the energy to the champions League, after all winning the champions League will be more massive than winning the Spanish LA Liga.

Yes Atletico seems to be performing poor this season. They might not have been on competition for the title but they have almost always been able to qualify for the champions league. Even though they scored 2 goals against Liverpool, they were almost always on defense and lost the game anyway.
The teams they have faced in la liga are also strong ones, maybe they'll all be able to finish on upper half of table but Atletico used to be the third team everyone were afraid of, which they might lose this season.

It's suprises me that I just suddenly developed a strange belief in Newcastle, on a normal match day Barcelona is the better team but I just have this belief that Newcastle would be strong enough to resist Barcelona, they been in a good form this season and it would motivate them to withstand Barcelona's pressure.

 At this point I don't know who to support so I'll just b in a plain side and enjoy the match like every football lover should, although I still think that Hansi would make the best decision in his tactics and selection, too bad we might not see Yamal on the field playing.

Real Madrid's last match was really great. It was a very breathtaking game. A Real player was sent off with a red card during the valuable time of the game, but after that, they won the match and told everyone that we are Real Madrid.

This incident of the red card seemed very funny to me. The players know very well to take the maximum advantage of the law in a legal way. I think the Marseille goalkeeper took that foul by acting a lot. The goalkeeper knows very well that having a player on the team outside the field during the game means hurting the opponent's morale. He did just that. Dani Carvajal made a small mistake in his emotions and put the team in a lot of danger. But at that time, the rest of the team knew that now was not the time to despair. Rather, it was to be more aggressive and win the game. In a very short time, Javi has blended in with everyone at Real in such a way that many of the players do not understand that we are playing with a new strategy. Real Madrid didn't have a problem with being one player short in the match. Because the game is about one player, not the whole team. I would say Barcelona were just unlucky in that encounter, in the first leg, how they allowed Inter Milan to beat their defence twice in row to score was the main problem. They relied so much on the high line forgetting that it can be beaten. The same thing happened in the second leg, another two goals again before they woke up. Flick mistake was not deploying the defence wall after Barcelona went ahead and just few minutes to go. And again, I know some people will not agree, but Yamal was also part of the reason why Barcelona didn't qualify.

My prediction is that Barca will win the game, but they will fight hard for it. Liverpool had to suffer to win against Atletico Madrid, Barca  would have to be careful with the Magpies

Well Real madrid didn't win any single el Clasico at the recent era of Angelotti and honestly injuries were definitely responsible of such situations. If real madrid had signed several big name for Angelotti then I am sure  they wouldn't have gone through such a difficult time. During his time majority of players were injured, but Perez didn't made any new singing may be he were thinking different or may be due to financial crisis. Barcelona had rest of thier quality players and none of them were injury and that some how reason of real madrid brutal humiliation by them. For me perez were responsible for that collapse, if he had signed any new player, then the team could compete against his main rival. Anyway in recent time Alonso has handosme squad and i don't think he will make things easy for barca like previous, honestly it will be much more competitive clash.
