Villarreal are a good team. Real Madrid got a nice win at home. Vini Jr. is in great form. Xabi Alonso made a well-judged rotation. Mastantuono is starting to get more playing time, but still he couldn't finish 90 minutes on the pitch. Alonso also gave Arda and Bellingham balanced minutes. Real Madrid are back on top, but Barca will take the lead back tomorrow. For some reason Sevilla can't play well at home, they won't be able to stand against Barca.

Hard one but they did well to win that game. Vinicius with two goals one from the penalty kick and the other as the opener. He almost lost that penalty but it went in between the legs of the goalkeeper. The substitution brought up the goals in the game tonight. Thanks to the partnership of Brahim Diaz and Kylian Mbappe as they made it possible to seal the game with that finals goal. Should Barcelona underestimate Sevilla, they will be punished heavily. Nicholas Pepe did his best but it wasn't enough.

I'm considering placing a bet on Atletico. Odds are:

Atletico had a turbulent start to the season, they lost the opening game and followed up with two draws, but it looks like they got through whatever problems they had at the beginning. Recently, they noted a very impressive win over their arch rivals, Real Madrid, winning 5-2, and followed up with beating Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in the Champions League.
Celta is yet to win their first league game this season. After 7 rounds, they only earned 5 points. They lost only 2 games and don't concede that many goals, but I think if Atletico keeps the same effectiveness of their attack as they had in their recent games, that should be enough to earn a win.

I understand your leaning Atleti. That 5-2 vs Real and 5-1 vs Eintracht run was crazy. However, that is the issue: all ten of such goals were at home. Out of the Metropolitano they have not won a single game this season and both teams have scored in every road game. Therefore, as everybody is selling the Atleti are back narrative, their travel edition remains the same one-goal-ceiling side. Instead, the draw magnet of the league are Celta. Yeah, this seems to be one of his best or would I say best performance game so far this season. He stepped up and impressed today I must say. It seems that alot of maturity has happened between Vini Junior and Kylian Mbappe. In today's match, I didn't see that untold and silent competition among them. Is it because Vini scored brace today or because Mbappe handed him the PK to take. Besides, it was Vini who committed the player.
I sincerely do not know why I feel and wish that Vini should succeed in Madrid over Mbappe. This wouldn't have been so if Vini was not robbed by Rodri in 2024. Atleast, he would have rested and worked for Mbappe.

Vini performance was outstanding today as he scored two goals for the first time this season. Mbappe was able to still put down his name on the score sheet today as he scored the last goal to end the match 3-1. Vini performed to the point that he gave one of Valencia player a red card. Valencia ended the match with one man down.
