The performance of Madrid against Girona was just such a poor one, we had expected, even when Girona had the first goal I was expecting that Madrid was going to do a comeback as usual and probably even stay ahead with a win but sadly they had to share points with Girona and now on the table they are at the second position having Barcelona ahead of them I was thinking this would have been opportunity for them to stay ahead of Barcelona on the table with a slight good point gap which they could be able to further increase.

Seeing what happened to Real Madrid's game in this match, I wonder if this is a mission to get rid of Xabi Alonso from the coaching chair? The reason is that previously there were many rumors circulating that some players were involved in internal conflicts with Xabi, so maybe that had an impact on their game on the field.

The reason is that they played like that when they faced Girona, whose game this season was very bad, so I really don't believe in the results obtained by Real Madrid in this match. And this is also a series of unsatisfactory results.

Well I agreed  with Madrid’s talent is still there, but they need to stay focused on the next match rather than the title race right now. The dip feels more like a temporary blip than a full‑blown crisis, so tightening up defensively and getting the midfield clicking again should be the priority.

This draw makes the second consecutive draw real madrid has made in this season with a weaker team. Their last match against Elche ended in 2-2 draw and today another draw with Girona. They should have use this match as opportunity to sit on top of the table. Although the season is still very long, Villarreal and Atlético Madrid are just doing warm up. The league still belong to either Barca or Real madrid.

As a Real Madrid fan, it's very disappointing to see that Real Madrid failed to beat Girona even when they're fully aware that dropping points in the game will make them not return to the top of the Spanish La Liga table. After Barcelona's win on Saturday, I was expecting Xabi Alonso to introduce the best tactical approach that'll help Real Madrid defeat their hosts tonight and return to the top of the standings but shockingly, they failed to live up to expectations.
Barcelona will surely be happy with Real Madrid's poor results tonight but what I think is more worrisome for Real Madrid at the moment is how to improve from the current poor results.

In a long season and with many ambitious targerts from La Liga, Champions League to Copa del Rey, Real Madrid want to win all titles in this season or at least La Liga and Champions League titles, it's huge pressure on Xabi Alonso and Real Madrid players. They have been doing well so far but it does not mean anything if at the season ending, they won't lift any trophy.

There should be a big pressure to manage Real Madrid. But I'm sure Real Madrid management is quite wise, they seem not targeting to win 2 major trophies. At least Real Madrid can win La Liga, it is enough for them. However, it seems Real Madrid is a bit declining their performance. In La Liga, Barcelona overtakes their position now. Real Madrid got a draw result again (3 draws in 2 latest matches). After they were defeated by Liverpool in UCL, they seem performing worse. This isn't a good sign for competing La Liga trophy.

Al of them are weak teams, but Real Madrid failed to win the matches.  

There is a climate of dissatisfaction on the part of the players, i have this feeling, i am clearly not in favor of teams where there are all prima donnas. The players have to abide by the rules and what is decided there in the environment, clearly this thing must be clear to the management and a coach with character is needed to manage all these strong players.

Yep, some players seem unhappy because they don't get enough opportunities to play. But Xabi must do what becomes the best option for Real Madrid. If he too often changes the main lineup, it will bring bad impact to Real Madrid performance. Now, we can see the results of the latest 3 matches. All of the results are very badly. This night was a disgrace, what would they have done if not for that penalty won by Vinicius Jr. And having all goals from Kylian Mbappe is a big issue,  Madrid use to be the club with more than one player scoring, I don't like it is centered about one name. All respect due to Kylian Mbappe. Barcelona host Atletico Madrid at home, sure they will defeat them.

I watch Madrid, and even though they have some personnel that they lack in their squad, like a controller and a creator in midfield, I think I blame Alonso for the way they play. They played better than this at the beginning of the season. They pressed better. Pressing is such an underrated thing in football. People don't talk about it much, but it is one of the most important things. When a team does not press, the opponents will play more comfortably and cause more trouble. At the beginning of the season, Madrid pressed better. They played in such a way that they choked the opponents out with a proper pressing structure, but now, they are playing like they did last season. The press should start from the attack, not leave it for the midfielders and defenders alone.

The other two problems of Madrid, in my opinion, are their ball retention and chance creation. When they finally win the ball back, they don't have a midfielder who can control the game, beat the opponent's press and retain the ball among themselves. That used to be Kroos.
In terms of chance creation, most of Madrid's chances come from Vinicius. That is not cool at all because all the opponents need to do is lock Vini, and the attack is blunt. The midfield and the other wing don't create as much.
These are fixable issues. If Alonso can find a way to fix these issues without creating more issues, they might get back to top form.

That's football, the results will always mess with us. But a draw isn’t that bad compared to losing the match. A lot of people probably expected Madrid to win, but they just didn’t look at their best and only got a goal from a penalty. For me, it’s not a big problem since the point gap isn’t that wide, and I can understand Madrid’s condition after going all out in the UCL and securing a win there. As long as the point difference is still close, it’s not too bad.

Mbappe could have gotten something the opener but, he handled the ball and scored afterwards, there is no way that could have been avoided but, soon after, they conceived and what a special goal that didn’t give Courtois a chance to save it.

In short: Real Madrid is a mess. In my opinion, the coach should start by using the same starting eleven as the previous coach and then gradually change each player to see which is the right eleven, instead of altering everything as he did.

From whence I witnessed the clash of real Madrid and Liverpool, I felt that, real Madrid performance as drop down, and from that game, we can clearly see it that, they are not performing as usual. Right now I can not entrust my money on any gamble with real Madrid, I think I said this thing earlier today. Real Madrid don't seem to played as when the season start. In the league, they have draw 3 games in a row, and I was not seeing this result coming, but let's just say it has happened and that is how it is. Honestly Madrid performance is getting worst and disappointing, because they were first leading Barcelona with five good points which we never expected that they will dropped points easily and that has happened, and currently Barcelona ranked first in the table with one point lead. This is definitely a flimsy excuses if it is what Xabi Alonso has been using, let’s even agree that some players actually joined the club after the pre season had been completed but let’s be sincere the number of games already this season is definitely enough for Alonso to use and think of players position now. For me this lose was on Xabi Alonso himself who simply just gamble on the game. How can two center backs who have been out for quite some time be the starters immediately after their return and this to me was never unnecessary except the scenario where the both lack match fitness, prior to this game Girona, the club had won once in the last possible matches and were just getting draws but this was seriously Alonso who have away this game to them
