The ref did what he felt was correct and from all that happened it wasn't the fault of the ref that caused them the game, right from the beginning you see how poor Madrid played, things they're suppose to do when they face a side that would give them problem was never made, go all out on a counter whenever they get an opening, something like that same energy they used against Barcelona it would have helped and knowing how stubborn Celta is should have made them to come prepared no matter the number of injured players they have. Now who are they going to blame since they lost that opportunity to get something in this game? Their next game will be similar to this very game.

It became obvious that Alejandro Quintero Gonzalez lost control of the game at some point. Fran García's two yellow cards and Endrick's red card are justifiable. Álvaro Carreras' second yellow card, which came because he told the referee, "You are terrible," should have been overlooked. The match is already tense enough that an experienced official would have calmed it down by overlooking some actions.

Another blunder was booking Jude Bellingham for coming into the game without permission after he went outside the pitch to clean blood from an injury. But it was discovered that the fourth official granted him the authorization to come into the game. The referee deserved to be cautioned for his loss of control. 

People will definitely blame the ref by calling him names but they don't know what was going through his head, is not easy to control such game, knowing fully well that both teams (Madrid and Celta Vigo) play like rivals or should I say the game was like a derby and again, the players didn't make the work of the ref easy, they made it worse for him because at that point you can't even tell what the next player would do and how to calm it while the others are doing theirs. You are correct, overlooking some actions would have reduced the tension some how I think but all the same is never easy for referees to handle such games.
Like I said before, you don't have to blame the ref, he was under pressure and we know how these things works, Bellingham was desperate and the ref thought he came in without the permission of the 4th official but even at that he should have asked if they permitted him and cancel the card and let the game continue, that was why he messed up, he have the right to cancel the card. True, the ref will definitely be fined for some of his actions and who knows, some of the card that was issued out will be cancelled, it can happen.

This match will be unpredictable because on one side we have Real Madrid who will test their coach competency on this match, and on the other side we have Manchester City, who need a victory to get more points for qualifications. So that's why both will be try hard to get victory and due to this we will be seeing competitive football. Like both side will try hard to deliver a challenging tussl and probably winner will be more prestigious for victory.....

However, Xabi Alonso really needs to get the victory otherwise it will be the last chance for him to prove himself. It's like a real test for him to show to Real Madrid that he still has the competency to manage big team or if he failed then apparently their team will think about his replacement.

There will always be criticism for someone's achievements, even from fans. I think Xabi coaches well, but there will still be dissatisfaction from fans or spectators regarding the performance shown by his team. 
We all know Madrid has players with big names and high salaries. Maybe some lines are still inconsistent because some veteran players have had to leave or retire. Xabi just hasn't found a player who can fill the important roles that are vacant.

Seeing how they have been in the league, I agree with you that they might not be ready for the champions league match. But it's up to them to decide whether they can prove our feelings right or wrong. Real Madrid has always been a monster in european competition & that's a fact. I expect them to give their best when they face Manchester City later.

This defeat has caused them the points they will need to cover up the gap between them and Barcelona. My main concern right now is the upcoming champions  league game,they will be playing against Man city. Its going to be a tough one for Real Madrid honestly, because they have a lot of injured players right now, especially the defenders,I also heard Mbappe missed training because his finger was injured in the previous match.  I am eager to see what will happen in the clash between Real Madrid and Manchester city honestly because anything can definitely happen. Whether they are ready or not they will be playing one of the English premier league monster which is Manchester city and recently these two teams game has always been tough as hell but this time around I don't know how tough it will be because both team are not really in good form unlike before.  I don't really know, Real Madrid this season they are just off and on, after they won Barcelona during El Clasico this season I thought they will be unstoppable but no, they are still losing to even small teams and Manchester city has started coming up and there are game Pep Guardiola doesn't joke with.

Actually, the era of Real Madrid's three forwards has been around for a long time and even managed to win three consecutive Champions League trophies. Way too harsh, I will also say. Before the last five games which he has dropped points I don’t think he has actually been that poor, and to be sincere every manager needs this kind of difficult moments to grow with the team. I even see news about him getting sacked should they fail to win against Atlanta and i say that’s way too sooner for manager with so much injury crisis to deal with, I think he should be given more time because in the three competitions he is participating in this season he isn’t far behind that much to think maybe the season is lost already

I didn't expect xabi Alonso will struggle with real madrid if he comes to the club when the season started he as be doing very good in the league competition but now I see things turn around for him but I think is because of the Injuries players that is making the club to perform poor in the competition. If Real Madrid manages to defeat Manchester City, and Xabi Alonso is then automatically retained, I think that this would not necessarily change the situation. The pressure on Xabi Alonso and the players will remain the same as long as they haven't been able to take over the top spot in the league table from Barcelona. Meanwhile, in the Champions League, every match is a gamble for Xabi Alonso fate.

The momentum was there at the start of the season but when players are now in the recovery room they can't do much and that's what's happening at the moment as Madrid's game is a complete shambles with their lackluster defense struggling to fill the gaps.

The Champions League against City is definitely a big game with a limp. I have high hopes that even though 3 points will be hard to come by, they won't drop points in this one.
They play at the Bernabeu but with a defense that has a lot of gaps this is clearly difficult especially since City are now back to their original form where they are quite dominant. Hopefully, Xabi can manage the remaining squad because if they win then their mentality will obviously be boosted but if they don't then it could be that the players' mentality will be further compromised and it will end up being a bit more difficult.
