It is so funny how you call Manchester city inconsistent because Real Madrid was also inconsistent before they even played with Manchester city and the so called inconsistent Manchester city still come from behind and defeat Real Madrid though I feel the reason for the loss was because Mbbape didn't play the game as a result of the injury he had, just what I feel though but I'm not certain about it but I don't think they can not afford to lose today's game because they will not just be far from Barcelona but rather they will drop to third position if Villarreal win their game.

Why do people still see Manchester city as superior as they used to be before? Manchester city are inconsistent and still inconsistent with their performance, watch their games and you will see they are not creating much chances as before and without Erling Haaland goals they will be nowhere in both the premier league and Champions league. Barcelona does have all the advantages in this game to work with  but I do not know If they will be able  to utilise it to the maximum because sometimes it does happens they could do poorly just at the time you had expected they were going  to do the best probably because  they feel they are muc better than the weak side and may probably may not need too much of an effort to get a win against such team. Barcelona has got a few weak points and so I just hope they not get messy with this game.

I think they won't be able to find the perfect balance and that in the end their advantage, which now seems insurmountable to them, will be too little and won't be enough to win the championship. The other teams will certainly not stand by and watch them win the championship. i still see the end of the championship a long way off.

We should not be too sure about things that has to do with football results when it has not ended yet. although madrid will play with everythig they have today to make sure they get their desired result, but football has a way of proving our predictions wrong, I believe your reason for this, is because you think alaves is not supposed to be a threat or problem to Realmadrid, you might be right but I will be reserving my statement until the match is over, Realmadrid needs to win this game to enable them close the gap between them and Barcelona, they were conveniently on the league too earlier but they created this for themselves, they have to fix it with which ever means available.

I agree. Real Madrid weren't just a mess in their Champions League game. They were even the much better side until getting 1-0 ahead. But Guardiola found a way to beat his old student from Bayern Munich.

Anyways, I'm also hoping Real Madrid to win tonight. And I really wonder how a universe with Rodrygo being given a chance as LW instead of Vinicius Junior would be.    Rodrygo showed us a really good thing against Manchester City despite having limited chances to play.
