He underestimated Rodrygo for no meaningful reason at all and I will say it is just personal issue or hatred he has for Rodrygo, if not why would he be benching him even when the player is not in injury and benching this guy has really affected his overall performance but I'm happy he delivered them yesterday by scoring a winning goal that gave them 3 points to continue staying in the second place in the La Liga table and I believe the reason he started using Rodrygo was because he has no player to bench him because of injuries so he had no choice than to start using him, Real Madrid need more improvement because the game yesterday was crazy and not impressive.

Technically Rodrygo is not just contributing to saving Alonso's job but also his career, and by the way, he alone will.not determined the job of their head coach, they have a collective team performance for judging that at before proceeding to possibly scout for a replacement if the need be they should. Rodrygo has always been a star in this team but I don't know why Xabi does not want to work with him appropriately. He wasted his time trying to make him play on the left and now it's Rodrygo that saves him his job. He deserves a special apology from Xabi.
