Rodrygo has always been a star in this team but I don't know why Xabi does not want to work with him appropriately. He wasted his time trying to make him play on the left and now it's Rodrygo that saves him his job. He deserves a special apology from Xabi. He scored a goal in each of the two games Alonso felt his value and give him a chance to prove himself and he proved he never belong to the bench. The proper formation for Xabi suppose to be Rodrygo on the right and Mbappe on the left. He's not taking Vini place but he should be given adequate play time too.

Xabi Alonso knows that Rodrygo is a good player he hasn't openly said the guy is not good but the problem is the position he plays and how the player can get a regular playing time without his presence affecting the formation of the team which Xabi is currently using all the time. Rodrygo is not supposed to be a bench warmer but in Real Madrid now you have a lot of star players playing Rodrygo in his right wing will affect the the team tactics I think that is the major reason why Xabi Alonso is not always using him, thanks to Rodrygo for the winning goal maybe Xabi Alonso can have a rethink and give him more playing time since he has proven himself yet again in the game against Alaves.

It is time for Alonso should know that Arda Guler can not play together with Bellingham, any time Arda Guler is in the field with Bellingham the midfield lack creativity and Arda Guler will not having a good performance, after Arda Guler was taken off the game change and we can see how Bellingham is doing everything in the midfield, for me, Bellingham is the man of the match in the game, another player that is still having a bad performance is Vinicius, Vinicius performance yesterday was one of the worst performances I have seen from him, the assist is the only thing that make people don’t talk about his performance.

At least  I need to congratulate them for this win against Alaves which has made them have 39 points with Barcelona leading the league with 43 points, if that match had ended in a draw,then they will be dragging the second place with either Villarreal or athletic  Madrid but the 3 points have made them stay in the second place temporarily with 4 Points ahead of Villarreal, thanks to Rodrigo goal. The next thing is to make sure they don't lose or draw more games because the more they are shifting away from the first place in the league, they are now going to a place where they have to start defending or contending for at least 4 or 5th place, and we don't want to see that at all. I really want Real Madrid to win this league this season and I believe they can do it, we need to start learning from previous mistakes and also learn how to play players in the right time and maximize all opportunities in any game. I am probably one who doesn't miss an opportunity to take a piss on Real and was skeptical that even 1.7 odd on are too high for their form, but come on, the score is nothing compared to the actual game, I mean seriously f*&*7 ball possession when 80% of Alaves possession happened in the 3/5, Real could have easily scored at least 2 goals and with a bit mroe luck than necessary another 2. Alaves...if they would have stepped in dog poo maybe one more!

Easier said than done and am talking about Villarreal here, they have two games outstanding than everyone in the table and also in good shape too but I doubt they would be able to win all of them then as for Real Madrid, there performance for me is still very poor because with the rate of pressure on them to catch up with Barcelona I would have thought that they won't even make this look like slaves had a chance but yet they struggled to even double their lead given the home an opportunity to draw before going in front again by rodrygo. Real madrid won this game but as a team they don?t inspire any confidence at all. All winnings are because of individual talents we don?t see any real team play to be honest. Their one of the biggest problem is the incredible selfishness of forward players. Even when they have completely unmarked teammates to their right or left, they insist on shooting themselves and end up wasting the chances. It?s going to be a really hard season for Alonso.

Benching Rodrygo wasn't a mistake from Xabi Alonso. He clearly said that Rodrygo is natural left winger, the same position that Vinicius Jr plays and that he'll not be using him in the right wing position that Carlo Ancelotti converted him to when he has left footed players that can play from the right wing. However, I think he's now finally come to terms with the fact that not regularly playing Rodrygo from the RWF position was one of the main reasons his team were underperforming.
Now that he's learnt his lessons and have discovered how important Rodrygo is, I hope he continues to play start him a get Real Madrid back to consistent winning of games. There were talks about Rodrygo leaving Madrid in January but now that he's getting more playing time, I believe he'll not want to leave a club he so much loves.

Xabi Alonso is not experienced but he is very talented and clever. He built the Leverkusen squad. And transformed this squad into the strongest club in the Bundesliga. Madrid's squad is definitely very strong. But Alonso is not very familiar with the players in this squad. Alonso did not even build this squad himself. So he still does not understand which players are suitable for his strategy.

Alonso needs to be given enough time and opportunities. I would be happy if Madrid management gave Alonso complete freedom to build the squad. But Madrid management will not do that. Because they already have a very strong squad. Alonso will not get the opportunity to make many changes. I disagree that Alonso was unhappy with Rodrygo. Rather, the start of the season was not going well for Rodrygo, and it was clear that he was not in his best form. However, Alonso kept giving him opportunities, both starting him in matches and bringing him on as a substitute. The fact that Rodrygo has started scoring now only shows that he is regaining his form. I was actually very worried that Real Madrid would draw again, especially when the score was still 1-1 in the 70th minute. This was yesterday's lane up against Alaves which was quite effective, but it's not necessarily the case against a big team, they have to improve from many positions in their formation strategy, what you mentioned could be very possible for Xabi to do, but I doubt whether he has that plan, and how the ball flow will be taken, but it's clear that the 4-3-3 position is not effective, they have to overhaul it, because that formation relies on wing play, but honestly if Real Madrid wants to play better to widen and narrow their attacks this depends on the midfielder's pass they have, the skill of the midfielder must be above average as a supplier of passes to the attacking players.

I saw the whole yesterday game between Alaves and Real Madrid, and what can i say Real didnt play any good at all, they won so they can work much more calm in this week but the performance still not good for a team this big, i dont know how Xabi can fix this.
