In this season, we witnessed sometimes Barcelona lost points and Villareal are strong enough to do this in this match. Barcelona are stronger than Villareal and they can beat this opponent, but if they think it is an easy match, they will likely have big problems with Villareal.

Barcelona must play carefully as if they lose points, they will lose their advantage in La Liga competition even they won't lose a first position immediately. I am not a fan of Barcelona and I hope Villareal will be able to have points from Barcelona and make La Liga competition for a title more exciting.

The reason I'm overly optimistic about Madrid winning this game is that Sevilla concedes too much. The rate at which they concede doesn't align with the way they score. A mid-block with perfect defending, constant pressing and making use of your chances is the best way for a small team to make life difficult for Madrid. Sadly, Sevilla doesn't have any of those things.

Sad to see Real Sociedad in this situation... They played the first half against Levante really good though. But they don't maintain the same game plan now.

This has been just letting Levante come easier. Securing a 1-0 score is always risky. And seeing Real Sociedad doing this against the last-placed team in the standings is just so desperate.  

I hope they win though. I wouldn't like to see a team like Real Sociedad to relegate.

Real Sociedad should close this out and take all 3 points from this match. Levante has 9 points, and every game is tough for them, so in a way they play more freely. They are more open because every point in this situation matters. There are 10 minutes left i agree that Sociedad could have played better, but this is still enough for 3 points

Looks like your worries actually came true after Levante managed to score from a penalty in the last minutes.

To be fair, this was partly Levante’s luck, but also a really poor performance from Real Sociedad. Just look at Oyarzabal wasting two clear chances, that was honestly terrible. In the final minutes Sociedad’s defense completely dropped off, Levante kept pushing for an opportunity, and in the end they got a penalty.

They've been weirdly bad against teams that just sit deep and say, "go on then, break us down". The moment that Sevilla pack 8 guys into their own half and block up the middle, Madrid start passing sideways and taking desperate shots from outside the box. Remember Celta two weeks ago? Madrid had the ball forever, they took more than twenty shots, should've won hands down, and still lost 2-0 at home. They also drew with the Rayo playing the same low-block nonsense.

Because of that, I'm not sold on the "easiest game" narrative. Yeah, Sevilla's defense is average at best, but where's their goal coming from at all? Against Alaves last week they created almost nothing - genuine toothless stuff. They just lost Ejuke and Adams to AFCON and those were literally their only guys who had the ability to run at defenders. For that reason I honestly expect them both to get a win and not give us any shocker results, Villareal and Sevilla are both not good enough.
