Some games are just harder than others, but as a big team a win is also expected on the hard days. That is what Real Madrid has done and they should be happy about the three points while they try to improve. Rodrygo is a player that I am glad that he is showing the Real Madrid fans and coach why they need him in the team because he was almost pushed aside by Xabi, and he almost left the club. This game was actually balanced to an extent, Madrid did not really out do Sevilla even, the res card I think even gave Madrid an edge so for.me I will even see it that Sevilla was a better side, if you look at the statistics, you will see that the difference was not much even with the various possessions and other statics, so of they had no red card, it is possible they would have doen even far more then they did against Madrid.

Seriously the season started well enough and they actually got to gather lots of points then, personally I don’t understand why he had to actually change the pattern of play mid way into the season, his twerk of formation and the consistent change of players were the reason why he dropped after opening a convincing eight point gap against Barcelona, this is exactly what happened last season.

I think the mistake has happened already and to me it was actually best that it did happen this early into the season because most of the time if it’s at the middle of the season it actually will be bad as there will be no time to actually correct the mistake. The game against Sevilla was looking more like a tricky game for them, the three points here is actually huge tempo booster, it’s now advantage for them let’s see what Barcelona plays tomorrow

They have done excellent to end the game this way and to Kylian Mbappe?! Congratulations to him on reaching the same milestone as his friend and idol. It also gives Cristaino Ronaldo that joy to watch Kylian Mbappe rocking the Santiago Bernabeu after all. I have always said he shouldn't follow Ronaldo's path and be himself but, he has brilliantly silenced me on multiple occasions. As usual, Real Madrid just dominating ball possession only for every match but difficulty to create many attempt and last night I watched first half match Sevilla made many great attempt but fail scoring the goal. First goal of Real Madrid scoring by Jude Bellingham trough heading due set piece from a dead ball situation and after that goal scoring lack attempt created by Real Madrid. So boring watching with Real Madrid game play this season more dominance ball possession but lack creativities for creating attempt looking how last several games when the opponent team play full defense.

With this victory Xabi team returned to their old rhythm. I love that Real Madrid is getting back on track again, injury almost made them look like a weak team but now that some important players are returning back I think there would be much difference, that's alone should let Barcelona know that they don't need to lose any point cause the gap is not very wide enough to keep their position safe if they lose, just one lose and they might lose it so they need to keep pushing as well. Unfortunately Real Madrid could not let Sevilla lose by one goal they made it two to completely seal the victory, Sevilla was too rough in the game they recorded 3 yellow cards before 40 minutes which was a bad sign for the team knowing that it's going to affect them in the game and finally they were given red cards even when they are losing there's no way they can survive it so it's all over for the team they lost the game.

Sevilla really performed badly from the beginning of the game, which I was not expecting. I didn’t expect to see anything from them, because I don’t know what they were thinking that made them perform that way, and it cost them a lot. Even with a full squad on the pitch, I was expecting a draw, talk less of playing with nine men, which is very hard to control, especially against a team like Real Madrid.

Although I was not expecting Real Madrid to score many goals, as I know that when they are winning they usually end the game with one goal or a few more, but always less than five, it was still a good performance from Real Madrid.

I love that Real Madrid is getting back on track again

I was not even expecting Sevilla to beat Real Madrid, especially with Madrid playing at home. Real Madrid knew very well that they had to  beat Sevilla to reduce the gap between them and Barcelona. Dropping points against Sevilla would have caused serious problems for them.
If they had failed to beat Sevilla, the pressure would have been too much. People would have started talking, and the media would not have taken it easy at all. We might have even seen crazy headlines about Xabi Alonso being sacked, which is funny but also very possible. Lol!
That’s how serious the situation was for Real Madrid. They needed that win, and anything less would have turned into a big issue for the club.
