The team was having some serious defensive problems but I think Hansi Flick has come up with a reliable solution for now, currently in Laliga they are in a 8 game winning streak, except from the Champions League games where they had been having troubles because definitely player quality and depth are needed to compete in that caliber of competition which Barcelona doesn't currently have.

Gerard Martin has been trying as the LCB in the Barcelona team and is one of the solution Hansi Flick uses and also the movement of the DM's so Barcelona are very much okay in the Laliga.

Overall performance so far Barcelona have been the better team, they look like a team that really want to retain their title, now with Raphina back with the squad they now look even more promising. We all saw how Real Madrid started the season very well, most people were even suggesting after the El Classico that Real Madrid are strong favorites to win the league this season but their performances stared falling off and they started dropping points especially away from home. Well a huge January is coming for both teams and it might have a huge say in who wins the league this season.

Maybe Real Madrid needs to give Xabi Alonso time, it never easy to come in and start delivering in your first season as a coach. I think with a couple of signings at that defense and midfield Real Madrid will do better and challenge more next season. You are correct and I totally agree with you his the best coach in the world right now, before he came to Barcelona they were struggling and having some issues and they did not even have the finance to buy players however hans flick used just the players he has to build this great team, however one of the reasons why Barcelona players are doing very well is because majority of them really love the club so much and they wanted to play in the club right from small so they are doing very well, and Hams flick has a way he talk to the players in other to bring the best from them, his really the best coach in the world right now.
Nothing will stop them from lifting the la Liga title this season.
